Cultivation Daddy-Chapter 84: YMIOB Bank
After breakfast, Yujian and Juanxin went to get dressed, while Li Jain got their transportation ready. He was thinking as to whether he should change the Sky-Steed Carriage, since it attracts unnecessary attention. But then again; it was because of it that others treated them as top priority and didn’t dare to mess with them.
Li Jain that he’ll need another carriage if he wanted to go low-key, but for now, the Sky-Steed Carriage is just right.
He took out the carriage, the majestic horses, landed gracefully, spared their wings and let out a low cry.
Fan Ruyin heard the noise, she took a peek and instantly froze.
How... Just how?
Before her thoughts could process fully, she was already standing in front of the carriage.
"This is a flying carriage with two sky horses. Sky horses are only found in the north and are extremely rare. They’re also very difficult to raise. The last time someone brought its cub to the capital, it was auctioned for two million high-grade spirit stones." The more she talked, the more amazed she became: "How did you get your hands on two sky horses?"
She estimates that the cause of one of those steeds should be in 5 million, after all they were so grown. Flying carriages are not normally sold with flying beasts. Actify craftsmanship is different from beast taming. To craft a good artifact requires lots of precious materials. Considering all of these are expensive, it won’t be exaggerating to say he spent over or close to 20 million high-grade spirit stones.
Then again, why would Li Jain spend all that money in such a small place?
Fan Ruyin asked shyly: "Umm, do you think you can get me a sky horse?"
She knew it was shameless of her to just request something so rare and valuable, but she didn’t want to miss this opportunity.
Li Jain shook his head: "I haven’t come across a sky horse and know why they sell them. But if I do see one, I’ll make sure to get it for you."
"So how did you get these? They’re clearly in peak condition and might even be level 7!" Fan Ruyin was unconvinced, she thought Li Jain was making an excuse to not get it for her.
She patted the horse lovingly, very reluctant to let go. Why can’t he get it for me? Even though he has so much money, he’s still being stingy. How hateful!
"These sky horses are not the living ones. They’re puppets." Li Jain replied calmly, he was offended by Fan Ruyin’s unreasonable tone.
Fan Ruyin was stunned: "Puppets?..." It took a while for her to come to her senses: "How could that be? They look very alive and are even breathing."
"As you well know, sky horses are not only rare because there aren’t many of them. It’s almost impossible to catch one alive. These were refined using the bones and other materials from a level 9 sky horse." Li Jain explained.
Sky horses have wings and can fly. That’s one of the difficulties in capturing it, and another reason is that when a sky horse is trapped and knows it can’t get away, it will self-destruct.
For a puppet, this looks very alive and real.
"We’re about to leave." Li Jain said to Fan Ruyin after helping the settled
"Ok," Fan Ruyin replied, but Li Jain just stood there looking at her. It was only then that she realized she had to let go of the horse.
She took her hands away and stood on the side with flushed cheeks.
The sky horses spared their majestic wings, flap flab it twice and took off. The barrier covering the Li residence opened as the carriage approached.
Fan Ruyin watched this amazing sight enviously.

The city of Fengwu was buzzing at this hour, unlike the quiet Qingyuan Town. Li Yujian read the map while observing their location. As soon as he saw the huge building, he told his father to land.
"We’re here."
Li Jain navigated the carriage and landed where he saw other carriages parking.
YMIOB bank, (Your Money is our Business.) was made of white marble and shimmering bronze. Its entrance was guarded by two stone statues of coiling beasts.
The packing log was already occupied by several elaborate flying carriages, but the Li family carriage still stood out. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
When they walked closer, outside the bank was more like a marketplace, many small
Li Jian landed the Sky-Steed Carriage discreetly in the VIP carriage lot, which was already occupied by several elaborate flying transports. Even here, the Li family’s carriage drew admiring glances.
Li Yujian stepped down first then helped Juanxin down carefully.
"So this is a bank." Li Jain said, looking around.
Li Yujian answered: "Yes, father. This is the largest bank in Fengwu City called YMIOB."
The inside was surprisingly crowded, people lined up in long rows. If they had to wait for the line, it’ll take hours before their time reaches. Li Jain suddenly realized it wasn’t a good idea to bring the children along.
"You stay here, I will go ask someone." Yujian instructed
"Yes, Boss." Li Jain replied seriously
Yujian paused and looked back only to find his father smiling at him, his little cheeks flush and he quickly doubled his footsteps. Every child love to be praised by their parents and Li Yujian was no exception. Because of their environment, and as the eldest, he was forced to grow up and take care of his six younger siblings.
But now things have improved for them and there was no need for his protection. Unfortunately for Yujian who is used to the responsibility of an older sibling; he finds it unsettling and he’s slowly losing the motivation that kept him moving forward.
At the time the Yan family came to arrest their father for the money he owes them, Yujian was the one who volunteered to be sold to them in exchange for the money. Yuhan couldn’t let his twin bear the burden alone and decided to follow. Unfortunately, the original Li Jain became addicted to it and sold the other twin to the owner of Joyous restaurant.
His siblings look up to him, and he looks out for them. That’s how things have been for years. Although he was happy that their living condition has improved, he’s having a hard time finding his worth. That’s why when there’s anything he could help with, he doesn’t hesitate and does it right away.
Li Jain looks at his eldest son’s retreating figure and sighs deeply; why were all his lovely buns having a hard time with self-confidence, even though they’re so amazing?
"Excuse me," Yujian called out to a kind looking lady
"What’s wrong, kid?" The woman smiled at him.
"It’s my dad’s first time here, we came to deposit and open a new account. Can you tell me what the line is for?"
The woman looked behind her at the long line and sigh: "The first line with the red signs is for deposit and the other line with the green signs is for withdrawing and other financial activities. Everyone has to stand in line except for VIP guests." She points at some of the big shots that were heading upstairs as soon as they arrived.
"I see, thank you." Yujian bowed slightly and thanked her.
"How is it?"
"We have to wait in line, unless we have a VIP pass."
"How do we get the VIP pass?"
"I don’t know, let me go and inquire."
"Forget it, let’s just wait a while longer." Li Jain pulled Yujian who was about to take off back.

An hour passed, and it seemed like the line wasn’t moving at all. Li Jain took Juanxin to get snacks for the third time, while Yujian stayed in line, guarding their spot. Li Jain bought two candied hawthorn and gave one to Yujian then he continued to stand in line.
"This again! Every day is the same! They come with a few low-grade spirit stones and they want to be given special treatment.
"Please, lower your voice manager." A nearby clerk whispers, he was used to the manager’s outburst, which makes him even more helpless.
The manager was unconvinced: "What are you afraid of? Tell the front desk to hurry and send them away faster. We are not a charity hall!"
"Yes, sir." The clerk sighs
The employees were used to him and didn’t comment, just focusing on their task.
"I need a break from this job." He said and stepped outside for fresh air. As soon as he looked up, he froze instantly. He rushed back inside and pulled a random employee.
"Who has the gold runes carriage that’s being driven by sky horses?"
The young employee thought for a moment and answered: "I saw a man with kids, came out of there an hour ago."
The manager frowned and snapped: "An hour ago?! How can you keep an esteemed guest waiting? Bring him in now!"
The young employee understood at once and his eyes lit up!
