Lu Yu turned his head to survey the surroundings and found that the opening above, through which they had fallen, was already sealed. They were trapped in a vast space, at least the size of three basketball courts, more than enough to accommodate a dozen people.

Grumble~ He looked towards the source of the sound. Beneath their feet lay a vast pool of soup, filled with a thick dark red broth.

The sound he'd heard just now was the bubbles forming in the soup pool.

Boom! Someone wielding a spiritual weapon launched an attack on the surrounding flesh walls, which violently deformed under the assault.

The smoke dispersed, and the flesh walls slowly returned to their original state. The attack, despite its ferocity, failed to penetrate them. Everyone felt a sense of unease.

Bubble, bubble, bubble~ A large number of bubbles emerged as Lu Yu saw something moving within the thick meat soup beneath them.

Suddenly, a fleeting shadow passed before Lu Yu's eyes as a whip-like mass, as thick as a thigh, wrapped around a Martial Cultivator and began dragging him downward.

Though captured, the person remained somewhat alarmed but not in a panic.

As a Martial Cultivator in the Qi Sea Realm, they had been through countless battles and wouldn't be overwhelmed by a sudden attack like this.

A spiritual weapon flew from his storage bag, radiating light like serpents, slicing through the whip that bound him with dazzling blade light.

Splash, splash~ A stinking acidic liquid sprayed from the severed whip, causing those around to quickly use their spiritual power to cover their noses and mouths. Just the brief scent was enough to make everyone feel nauseous and pale.

The person caught in the midst felt utterly hopeless, as if the entire world was against them.

Whoosh~ His figure was abruptly pulled downward, instantly waking him. In a panic, he remotely controlled his spiritual weapon to unleash its most powerful move. In such life-or-death moments, no smell mattered.

Boom! The whip shattered, and the remnants of the attack splashed into the soup, sending a spray of dark red liquid flying upwards.

Everyone hastily released their spiritual power to fend off the unknown liquid.

Sizzle, sizzle, sizzle~ Lu Yu's expression changed as he emitted a golden flame from his palm, evaporating all the liquid before him.

Such liquid could corrode spiritual power, rendering it unable to repel the splattering unknown liquid.

"Ah!" Someone screamed. Spiritual power was unable to defend against the unknown liquid, and in a moment of unpreparedness, most of his body was splashed.

"Hiss~" Those whom the liquid barely touched inhaled sharply and voluntarily cut away chunks of flesh.

"Damn!" One person reacted quickly but still got a splash on their clothes, leaving parts corroded and ragged.

"Who did that just now?" One person questioned everyone with a gloomy expression.

Those who were aware instinctively looked towards the unfortunate soul caught by the whip.

The silhouette of the poor fellow had vanished, but looking down, they found his clothes floating atop the corrosive liquid.

In no time, they sank into the thick, unknown liquid.

The crowd looked solemn. A Qi Sea Realm had died soundlessly here, causing anxiety among the group.

Gurgle, gurgle~ Lu Yu noticed the middle was bubbling and the level of corrosive liquid was rising. The surrounding flesh walls also started secreting black corrosive liquid.

This corrosive liquid could even eat through spiritual weapons and could easily corrode the body of a Martial Cultivator.

"Quick, find a way out. Once this stuff fills the area, we're done for," someone said hastily.

"Let's combine our attacks at one spot to open a way out," someone suggested.

"Good idea." Everyone quickly agreed.

"I'll start." A Cyan-robed Swordsman, looking to be in his thirties, stepped forward. He was one of the few who hadn't been caught in the earlier incident.

Clang~ The sharp sword drew out as the Cyan Mountain Swordsman took three steps towards the flesh wall and thrust his sword. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Sizzle~ Blood spurted from the flesh wall, and the wound began to close.

"Stand back!" someone shouted. A massive fist silhouette shot out with tremendous force, severely distorting the flesh wall.

The previous wound was on the cusp of healing.

"Don't let it heal, everyone join in!" The person stepped back, making way for others to step forward.

Lu Yu observed the flesh wall being ravaged to the point of near irrecoverability, then stepped forward. His left hand emanated cold air, casting a print onto the seriously dented flesh wall from afar.

Crack, crack, crack~ The flesh wall quickly hardened and was frozen into ice blocks.

Bang~ Crunch~ The frozen flesh wall became brittle, shattering into countless fragments under Lu Yu's punch.

The fragments fell into the corrosive liquid, producing hissing sounds as they were corroded, leaving only a tough inner wall skin unaffected.

Lu Yu noticed that the inner wall skin wasn't corroded. His thoughts shifted, and while others escaped through the opened passage, he used the Celestial Falling Bright Flame to condense a Fire Saber. With it, he sliced off a piece of the inner wall, storing it in his Storage Ring.

Though the inner wall had the properties of a living substance, it lacked self-awareness, making it storable in the Storage Ring, but not in a backpack.

Emerging through the breach, they entered a sticky passage, cautiously advancing.

Bubble, bubble~ A sound emanated from afar, making everyone warily watch the direction of the sound.

Lu Yu saw a massive black spherical creature moving toward them, its body crammed into the entire passageway, leaving no room for anyone to dodge.

To evade it, they would have to retreat into the previously filled corrosive liquid chamber.
