Cultivating in a Demonic Sect with my System-Chapter 48: Ch : Meeting with a Golden Core Demonic Cultivator

After returning to his house, Li Feng told Yue about what had happened in the evaluation. Hearing that he had attracted the attention of a golden core realm cultivator, Yue became a bit worried. But Li Feng reassured her that he would be careful and nothing bad would happen to him. He also discussed a few ways to run away from the Blood Sea sect if the worst case situation came to be.

For that he needed to go to the inner area of the sect but with the token that was given to him, no one would stop him from entering the inner parts of the sect.

Before leaving the house again, Li Feng told Yue to be extra careful. With the elder inviting him out before so many disciples, Li Feng guessed that some of the disciples might try to investigate him or might try to loot his house. That was the reason why he told Yue to be extra careful. Normally he would feel too worried if he left Yue alone but as Yue had now reached the foundation establishment realm, very few people in the whole outer sect could match her strength. That was why Li Feng was not as worried about leaving her alone.

Li Feng had no trouble getting past the doors of the inner sect. The disciples guarding the door immediately allowed him to enter as soon as he showed them the token from the Filthy Blood elder. This was his first time entering the inner sect, so while going toward the cave abode of the Filthy Blood elder, Li Feng did not forget to take a good look at what the inner sect had to offer.

Immediately after entering the inner sect, Li Feng noticed that the environment of the inner sect was more rich in spiritual energy compared to the outer sect. If he used his spirit gathering array here, then his speed of cultivation would increase by at least 20 percent if not more.

He also noticed that the inner sect was much larger than the outer sect but had less people living in it. So it looked very empty. During his walk, Li Feng only came accross six or seven disciples. Instead most of the disciples that he saw were in the late stage of the Qi gathering relam.

Those disciples were actually not officially inner sect disciples and instead were servants of an official inner sect disciple. An early stage foundation establishment realm disciple was allowed to bring 10 late stage disciple from the outer sect to become their servants and with higher cultivation level, that limit increased exponentially. So that was why there were so many Qi gathering relam disciples here in the inner sect.

Li Feng did not really interacted with any of them and continued his journey while remaining as lowkey as possible. After walking for quite some time, he found himself in an area that was even more remote and silent. This place was the area where some of the late stage foundation establishment realm cultivators lived, so not many people came here.

At the edge of the area, Li Feng saw that there were seven large mountains. Each of the mountains belonged to a golden core realm elder and not only them but their disciples also lived on those mountains. The spiritual concentration there was even higher, so getting to cultivate there was something all the disciples dreamed about.

At the base of the mountain, a few disciples were standing guard. Li Feng appeared before one of the disciples and showed his token to him. At first he was very dismissive of Li Feng as he was only an early stage Qi gathering relam cultivator but after seeing the token, they became serious and told Li Feng to go in. It looked like this token was very valuable.

While going up the mountain, Li Feng found several houses here and there. But still as the mountain was quite large, this whole place looked empty and desolate. From what Li Feng had seen from outside about the other mountains, they had way more disciples and looked bustling.

The cave abode of the Filthy Blood elder was located at the very top of the mountain. So Li Feng still needed to climb quite higher. As he got closer and closer to the peak, he started smelling something terrible. So much so that he needed to cover his nose with spiritual energy to keep the smell away.

The scenaries of the mountain was also changing gradually. At the base, the mountain was green with various plants but as Li Feng climbed, the plants started to becoming scarce. And when he was very close to the top of the mountain, there were no trees around him. With how terrible the smell here was and how the rocky ground of this part of the mountain was filled with black disgusting blood, trees would not be able to survive here anyways.

Soon after walking through the disgusting blood, Li Feng reached the front of a cave. The opening of the cave was blocked by a large rock. Li Feng could also see that a very powerful formation was also protecting this place. There was an indentation on the rock covering the cave and Li Feng placed the token there. Immediately, the large rock started moving and the formation also created a gap for him to enter.

As soon as the rock unblocked the path, an even more terrible smell hit him. The air that came out of the cave was so terrible that his skin started burning immediately. Li Feng had to create a cover of spiritual energy to protect himself. But he did allowed some of the air to hurt him and intentionally lowered his defense to be affected by the air. He did that because not getting injured by this with his early stage Qi gathering relam cultivation would be impossible.

So with red skin and burning pain, Li Feng entered the cave abode. As soon as he entered, the rock behind him moved and closed the door again. When that happened, even Li Feng became a little scared. Then he calmed his mind with the knowledge that he had already managed to master the crimson teleportation technique and would be able to escape any time he wanted. With this thought in mind, he mastered up his courage and went deeper into the cave.
