Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil-Chapter 572: The Final Villain Named
Pablo had made Andrezj create bombs.
When Pablo had first found the clock of Malvador, he had ordered an Angel to take the clock to the Gods.
The Angel had done just that.
But before locking inside his room, Pablo had used sign language with Andrezj and told the male angel to go to the Gods and take out that small ball of RDX that Malvador had created and inserted inside the clock.
Also, Pablo had told Andrezj the entire plan.
He made Andrezj create bombs and their remotes. The remotes were then given to the King of Vampires, Queen of Elves and the King of Forza.
These bombs were placed under each temple of the Gods and Pablo made Andrezj instruct the Kings and Queen that if something happened to Pablo, they should press the only button on the remote and the temples would blow up.
Then they were to tell all the people of all kingdoms that Gods killed Pablo Castillo and since Pablo was loved by everyone, everyone would stop praying to Gods.
The evil would rise in the world again and the Gods would regret betraying Pablo.
But at this plan, Altor said if evil were to rise again, then he shall just bring another Pablo Castillo to remove the evil.
At this, Pablo laughed out loud.
Altor talked about bringing another Pablo Castillo.
Pablo couldn't control his laugh as he said even his own parents weren't able to bring another Pablo Castillo in the world, what makes you Gods think that you can do it.
Silence gripped the castle again and Altor stared at Pablo.
Pablo stared back.
Altor was serious and no other Gods spoke anything.
Pablo was surprised that even Rameses, the God who always stays angry also said nothing to Pablo. Even after Pablo talked to Altor with no respect.
Nevertheless, Pablo kept his eyes on Altor and the God of death gawked at Pablo with a deep frown.
Pablo said nothing and simply waited. He had all the time in the world.
He brought his hands behind his neck, rested his right leg on top of his left and waited.
He watched Altor, Altor watched him.
But the next second, Altor's frown disappeared.
It was replaced with a smile.
A warm smile.
A bright smile.
Now Pablo turned serious.
He sat in a not relaxed manner now.
He looked around and his brows shot up.
All the other Gods also had a warm smile on their faces.
And the worst part? All the smiles were genuine smiles.
Pablo looked at Cupid.
Cupid raised her shoulders as she was the same as Pablo—Clueless.
Pablo clicked his tongue and looked at Altor again. He would just ask it directly.
"What is it? Why are you smiling? I swear I wasn't lying. Your temples will blow up." Pablo barked but after that, the Gods started laughing.
Now Pablo really wasn't sure what was going on.
He stood up from the chair and summoned Colt on his hand.
He became vigilant and pointed Colt at the Altor.
"I will not die easily, Gods." Pablo said.
The Gods laughed some more and seeing Pablo becoming tense by every passing second, they finally stopped their riot.
Altor leaned back on his throne.
"Sit down, Pablo. I will tell you what's going on."
Pablo squinted his eyes and saw Altor was really relaxed now.
Pablo didn't let go of his Colt and sat down.
As soon as he sat down though, he instantly stood up.
He jerked his head around to see the chair and to his surprise, the previous wooden hard chair had been replaced by a soft big cushiony single black sofa.
He looked at Altor and the King of gods gestured to Pablo to sit down with a smile.
Pablo didn't know what was happening but he sat down.
He didn't relax though. He kept his eyes and ears open. He might not be able to kill the Gods but he could surely look for a way to escape from this place.
But his worries had no place in the castle of the Gods as Altor said, "We were just playing around."
Pablo frowned. "Playing? That was a joke?"
"Yes. We wanted to see how you would react if we acted like we don't care about your wishes." Altor revealed.
Pablo leaned forward. "Are you saying this because now you know that I have bombs?"
Altor laughed. "No. Of course not. But damn. Bombs. Who thinks like that? We never expected something like that."
"So you never betrayed me?"
Altor sighed. "We are Gods, Pablo. Betrayal, love, life, death, sadness, such emotions are beneath us. I had given you my word and you had given yours. You did your work and now I will do mine. And if you still think we are lying, just look at Rameses. He is smiling right now. Smiling! He! The God of Anger has a smile on his face. I don't know if there is a bigger proof than this of our feelings right now."
Pablo turned his head to the left and saw the red haired God. The God who had given Pablo the Special Skill of one thousand suns.
Rameses was his name and he really had a smile on his face.
When Pablo looked at him, the God waved his hand and Pablo finally believed the Gods were really messing around with him earlier.
Seeing that, he sighed and relaxed on the sofa.
He looked at Altor and came right on the topic.
"So shall I state my wishes now?"
Altor's expressions changed. "I would love to say yes, Pablo. But your job isn't done yet."
"Enough jokes, Altor. It won't work again." Pablo retorted.
But Altor's expressions remained the same.
"I wish it was a joke."
Pablo again stopped relaxing.
He leaned forward. "What is it now?"
Altor leaned forward as well, placing his elbows on his knees.
"You haven't eradicated all the evil from Seraphim, Pablo."
Pablo scrunched his face. "I did that. I ended slavery. I made people believe in Gods. I made laws to stop crimes. What evil is left now?"
Altor sighed and looked right into Pablo's eyes.
"You."
