Craved by the Wrong Volkov-Chapter 148: Romantic escapade
Braelyn’s POV
I stared at him dumbfounded. He really did it but that was too easy. "How did you do it?" I blurted, unable to believe my ears. He found the one person who was practically a ghost.
I was considering hiring a private investigator if my last card with Genny had failed, but I didn’t even have to go that far.
Lucien shrugged, "I have connections." He casually said. I didn’t know if I should be amazed or dumbfounded.
"You are actually more capable than you give yourself credit for." I chimed. He gave me a wary
He sat back on the couch with a smug expression. "Don’t judge the book by the cover." He slurred before a mischievous glint sparkled in those hazel eyes.
His head drew to me, a grin I knew too well settled on his face. He suddenly leaned closer, cutting into my personal space. I didn’t have the chance to react on time.
His minty breath fanned on my neck..his hair was still damp as he hadn’t dried it, carrying a subtle jasmine scent from the shampoo.
"Lucien.." I blurted, my heart beat slowed. No matter how many times he did this I still hadn’t gotten used to him getting into my space
His slender fingers brushed a stray strand of my hair from my face and carefully tucked it behind my ear. I was flustered without a doubt
"Don’t I deserve a reward? " he asked with his gaze settled on my lips. I subconsciously bit my lips as my face heated
"I haven’t seen Killian yet." I blurted trying to glance away from him. He held my chin forcing me to look at him. "Eyes on me, princess, when you are talking." His voice drawled carried a dark allure that made those annoying critters in my stomach fluster.
The bells went off again, signalling danger. Lucien leaned closer, his lips almost brushing mine. "I have already gotten a hold of him, that should be enough to get a reward," he said in a low voice just for the two of us to hear, before his eyes flickered back to me, carrying unrestrained desire.
"Remember I said everything comes at a cost."
I swallowed hard, I tried to shove him away, knowing how effortlessly he could break my walls, and I wasn’t thinking straight at the moment. "I can give you a meeting after I officially meet Killian." I tried to scramble away
His arm grabbed my wrist and yanked me back. Soon I was pinned under him on the couch with Lucien hovering over me. Water drops fell from his hair trickling down my neck to my cleavage. He had that smirk on his face but his eyes didn’t hold any glint of amusement.
"But I want my reward now." He said. My breath hitched. This was the living room, and we weren’t completely alone.
"Haven’t I been a good boy?" He taunted his hand snuck under my blouse, my pulse spiked, every touch was electrifying.
"You are a good boy." I managed to say those casual words, which felt so ungodly at the moment. His hand inched closer to my bra cups, and I could already feel my nipples hard against the bra.
He buried his head on my neck. His evil finger was still under my blouse drawing lazy circles there. "Good boys deserve rewards, viper, or I can be a menace and take it myself."
Damn, that was a fucking threat, but it felt like the most seductive thing I have heard in my head. My fists clenched tightly, and I had to press my eyes tightly as a stuttered breath left my lips.
He nibbled below my ear causing my toes to curl as his hand moved higher at a torturous slow pace. "Don’t tell me you prefer the menace more than the obedient puppy. Sweet little Viper.." his voice was so hoarse, and I was too damn close.
Footsteps approached the dining room, and a calm voice chimed. "Have you had breakfast? I want to prepare something." Agnes’ voice drifted towards us, followed by a muffled scream.
My head snapped to Agnes, who looked like she just saw a horrific scene. I understood her shock. She knew I was married to someone else and Lucien was related to my husband
Imagine how scandalous it was.
Her scream immediately snapped me out of whatever spell Lucien had me under. I immediately shoved him off.
It felt like I was caught with my lover, which wasn’t wrong, but it still felt so wrong. Lucien was startled and wasn’t expecting me to suddenly shove him.
I quickly stood up and adjusted my blouse. "He was helping me get the hair out of my eyes" I just had to think of the silliest excuse.
Agnes was still dazed while Lucien stared at me dumbfounded. I glared at him before glancing back at Agnes. "We would love to have breakfast," I replied.
"Alright." She blurted, then a deep chuckle rang, drawing our attention to Lucien, who was laughing like he just heard the most ridiculous thing.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me back to his embrace, settling on his thighs while his hand circled my waist, protective. "What are you doing?" I hissed at him, trying to break out of his hold while Agnes watched helplessly.
I don’t know, but it felt like I was caught with a boy by my grandma. I just didn’t want to misbehave around her, but Lucien didn’t get that memo. He pulled me closer, his lips smashed against mine for a short breathless kiss, so intense my head went blank and fingers clung to his clothes as I just let him devour my lips until he parted.
His eyes were dark, with a heavy presence around him as he whispered into my ears coldly. "You think you can easily dispose of me, Viper?" He scoffed before he glanced at point Agnes who was still trying to process everything 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
I could not stare back at those innocent eyes that weren’t meant to witness this sin. I was flustered down to even my neck and ears burned as I averted my eyes.
"It is exactly what you think Agnes." He drawled before adding. "I guess we haven’t been properly introduced."
I just wanted to disappear at this moment but he would not let me
"I am Lucien Volkov, Gregor’s youngest child and Braelyn’s lover." He said calmly without batting an eye.
"And exactly how do you think this is our lovers’ romantic escapade, although we also came here for business." I pinched Lucien hard to shut up but he didn’t stop.
"In summary, I will appreciate it if you turn a blind eye to us ", he chimed.
