Cosmic Paragon-Chapter 90: Werewolf Transformation

Werewolf Transformation!

This was a special ability similar to the transformation ability of all other Shifter affinity series mages.

Transformation abilities usually granted the mage a power increase, where some of them had their battle power either doubled or tripled. Most might not even have their Battle Power multiplied, instead only having a specific stat like maybe; Speed, agility, Self-healing ability, Strength, some who transform into avian species even attained the power of flight.

However, the werewolf transformation was a bit different when compared to all the others. That is because the Werewolves had a special status among the Shifter series. They were considered a King species among all the other Shifters.

This is because unlike the other Shifters, Werewolves transformation gave them a massive boost in their Battle Power.

Once they transformed they would receive a boost of five times their regular Battle Power and Attack Power.

This was what the Wolff Brothers had told Drake when he had inquired about the perks of their Wolf transformation.

The Wolf transformation was similar to the Vampire’s Vampire form.

Today Drake was finally witnessing it personally.

The three Wolff Brothers did not give Drake anytime to think up any counter measures and attacked.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSHI! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Every slash they made with their arms caused whooshing sounds with the wind.

The ’Eyes of Order’ made it so Drake could see virtually every move the Wolff Brothers in slow motion so Drake quickly moved to avoid the sharp claws of the Wolff Brothers.

The Wolff Brothers did not normally have claws, but in their Wolff form their magic power formed a Humanoid Wolf man Phantom around them with sharp claws. The only thing that changed on them was that their pupils changed into a glowing Golden yellow color.

This was the first stage in the Transformation. It was called the Humanoid Beast Phantom.

There was a saying that when a Shifter reached the 7 star Mage level, they would be capable of completely transforming into their designated Beast form. At that time a Werewolf would be capable of transforming into a full Wolf.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

CHISH! SHISH! CHISH!

Drake was doing his best to dodge every attack made by the Wolff Brothers, but despite the fact that the ’Eyes of Order’ allowed him to see all their attacks, it did not mean that he could move faster to avoid them.

Thanks to this he took several cut wounds caused by the sharp claws formed from the magic powers of the Wolff Brothers.

The plainly dressed man sat with his drink in his hand and watched the ongoing fight on the screen.

He couldn’t help sighing in admiration when he saw how the Wolff Brothers power and speed suddenly multiplied. Hah, the Werewolves transformation is truly powerful. They turned the tides in an instant.

Logan burst into raucous laughter as the fight progressed to this point. He turned over to look at the plainly dressed man seated opposite him and grinned saying How do you like that? I told you they would definitely be better if they started taking things seriously. Now look at that.

Yes I admit you beast Shifters really have some superiority in this category. But, I still think Drake has something left in the tank.

Logan nodded happily and said, It is good that you accept that. And while I do agree with you that this isn’t Drake’s full capabilities, I still don’t believe it will be enough to beat the Wolff Brothers if they used their trump card.

Logan knew exactly how powerful the Wolff Brothers were once they used their final trump card. And while he had a lot of respect for Drake and had many expectations for him, Logan still did not believe Drake could triumph over the Wolff brothers especially when he was challenging all Seven Brothers together at once.

The plainly dressed man just kept his tranquil smile, not minding his friends pride.

The others standing outside of the Battle stage had serious looks on their faces as they watched the progressing fight taking place on the stage.

And nobody else’s face was sterner than the usually flirtatious Vampire Cassandra.

Peter said solemnly, That Phantom, ever since they activated it, their battle power and capabilities instantly surged. And that brutal aura that is suddenly lingering around them, it’s giving me the perception like I’m not looking at the same Wolff Brothers.

"Thats right; they’re suddenly much stronger than they normally are. It kinda reminds me of Cassandra’s Vampire form. Paul nodded in agreement.

The twins also had solemn looks on their faces. The Wolff Brothers Wolf transformation reminded them of Cassandra’s Vampire form.

That sudden rise in Battle power in the middle of a fight could put anyone under high tension. The thought of having an opponent that could so suddenly get several times stronger in an instant was scary.

Cassandra upon hearing their conversation nodded and said, You’re right! It is similar to my Vampire form. then she added, That isn’t the Vampire form though, it’s the Werewolves Wolf transformation.

Peter raised an eyebrow and asked, Wolf transformation? Shouldn’t they transform into Wolves then? the Twins were both baffled.

Sylvia knew some details as she had learned about all of it a long time ago, so she wasn’t surprised.

Sophia shook her head when she heard the question. "They can’t yet transform into the full Wolf form right now. she was the Granddaughter of the Dean of Alpha Academy so she knew some things that others did not.

Why not? Paul inquired.

Cassandra explained. A Werewolf will not be able to completely transform into their Beast form until they advance to 7 Star mage level. Only when they reach 7 Star mage level will they have purified their blood enough to allow a full transformation.

She continued, From 4 star mage level all Shifter series mages gain the ability to do a partial beast transformation, also called the Humanoid Beast transformation or Werebeast Form. This transformation will get stronger and better as they progress this is thanks to the improvement and purification of their bloodline as their level rises. But only after they advance past 6 Star to 7 Star mage level will they be able to fully transform into complete beast form.

The Twins and Sylvia all nodded and turned their attention back to the battlefield.

It was at this time that Sophia exclaimed, Drake looks like he’s being suppressed.

Peter restrained a laugh, Pfft, you think Boss is being suppressed just because they’re moving a bit faster now? You’re underestimating our Boss.

Paul shook his head and said, Boss is much stronger than you think.

Peter added, You might think you know just how strong boss is since you’ve seen the footage of our fights in the Fallen city, but I’ll tell you right now, that isn’t the Boss’s full power. You have no idea just how strong our Boss is.

Sophia and Sylvia were surprised that the twins were so sure that Drake could still do something despite the fact that he was clearly in danger.

Sophia especially only knew after watching the footage on Drake’s battles in the Fallen city, that Drake possessed a Copy Ability that he had used to replicate the twins teleportation ability and another light ability.

But she knew that while Copy powers were amazing, they only allowed you to copy a limited number of abilities. For most cases, a 2 star mage with copy ability would only be able to copy a maximum of two abilities at a time and the higher the level the more abilities they would be able to copy

Copy mages could copy a persons ability then copy someone elses, but once they did that they would lose access to that ability they had switched out of unless they copied it again. However there were limitations to copy powers. With one being that they could not copy Shifter powers.

Transformation powers were mostly bloodline based abilities, so Drake could not copy the Werewolf transformation since he did not posses the Werewolf Bloodline.

This also applies to the Vampire ability.

Another limitation the Copy mages face in their weaker stages is that they could not hold onto a copied power permanently. Once the copied power wears off they would have to copy another or it itself again.

As of right now the only magic powers Drake should posses would have to be maybe Teleportation, Time or maybe wind since he would have copied them from Sylvia and the twins.

As far as she was concerned, none of these powers would allow him to defeat the Wolff Brothers, since neither of these powers provided him with a powerful attack power.

The twins assurance that Drake would win got her even more interested in what Drake was capable of.

Peter and Paul knew about Drake’s Constellations abilities. And how he could limitlessly copy magic powers and use them, so they were sure Drake would be fine.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! CHISH! WHOOSH!

Drake took several cuts from Wolff Brothers assault.

Upon seeing the situation Drake frowned, Looks like this is my current max speed without elemental enhancement. I can’t go on like this, they’re too fast. I can see them, but I just can’t move fast enough to avoid all their attacks.

Drake’s mind moved and he summoned the power of the Virgo constellation Master of all Elements!

’Wind Power!’

The moment Drake summoned the power of wind, his movement speed instantly doubled.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH WHOOSH!

Finally his movement speed was good enough. Now no matter how much the Wolff Brothers tried, they were not able to touch a hair on Drake.

Every time they attacked, Drake simply moved his body slightly and their claws would simply pass by unable to leave a scratch on him.
