Drake first asked, "The simplest way of identifying that one was a 2 Star mage is that. While they cannot use long range spells, a 2 star mage can manifest their magic power outside their bodies a little."

"Naturally we all know this, get to it already! Zack scowled.

"Good then, I’ll give you a demonstration. Watch", Drake took a few steps forward until there was just a distance of about two steps between them.

"Hmph, just a cat claw," sneered Zack sneered.

"Wrong answer!"

A palm streaked through the air in a beautiful arc, striking Zack’s face like a lightning bolt.

Everyone was dumbfounded, who would have expected for Drake to directly attack. Zack tumbled off into the distance.

"Drake you bastard, go to hell!" Zack crawled up from the ground. A large palm print was deeply imprinted in his face, and the stinging pain made him roar furiously as he charged at Drake. His head buzzed and he couldn’t sense anything else around.

"You don’t see it? Ugh fine, I’ll show you again but just this once more. Here this time pay closer attention."

By now Zack’’s mind began to clear up. It was then that they realized what was going on. It would not be good if he was to fight with someone at this gathering or he might be kicked out. he hastily stopped himself, but it was already too late

Drake didn’t stand on courtesy, and another palm ruthlessly slapped across the other side of Zack’s face.

A clear sound rang out, causing everyone to tremble. Although the person being slapped was Zack, they all felt a sympathetic pain on their own faces.

They felt like they were the ones being slapped like that. But they also thought about something.

Each of Drake’s slaps was more ruthless than the last Zack had almost fainted from being struck. But that was not the only thing that scared them.

When Drake had moved earlier they had made sure to watch everything closely. But somehow Drake had managed to land two successive attacks with no one understanding how Zack had been completely unable to evade.

"Why isn’t he avoiding them? is he trying to get slapped?"

"It’s not like he doesn’t want to dodge the slaps, it’s that he can’t." Jeremy had sharp eyes, he could see that every time that Drake sent a slap, Zack saw it coming. And from the look in his eye’s, Jeremy could tell that he wanted to avoid them. That means Drake wasn’t using an illusion to make the attack invisible to Zack.

Yet, instead of avoiding the attacks Zack seemed to just wait to be slapped, If the first time was a mistake then the second time meant something was wrong. Zack would not just hold still and let somebody slap him in the face.

This brought Jeremy to a speculation, Zack just couldn’t avoid the attacks.

"He can’t dodge, why not? Is the opponent doing anything?" he was truly baffled, but Jeremy just shook his head.

Jeremy’s eyes also locked onto them, ’How come Zack couldn’t dodge?’

He had clearly seen that every time Drake slapped, Zack had tried to evade, but for some reason he had been unable to see why.

But while others were stunned, Cassandra, Sylvia and the twins who were close to Drake and Zack could tell what was going on, weren’t all too shocked.

Cassandra as a Vampire had terrifying senses and so she was able to detect the changes in Drake and Zack’s magic power fluctuations. So she knew Drake was definitely doing something. It’s just that she couldn’t tell what.

"Ahhh! Drake you bastard! I’ll fucking kill you." Zack was going crazy after being slapped in the face twice.

He was a noble scion, since when he was young nobody, not even his parents had ever slapped him in the face. Yet, now not only had he been slapped in the face, he had been slapped twice in a row. His eyes turned blue with rage.

Drake was exhilarated in his heart, ’Fuck that felt good. this feeling of slapping someone in the face is really addictive, I should do this more often. Maybe I can add face slapping to my repertoire of special attacks.’ he thought.

"You still can’t understand? Just how could you possibly be so dumb? I’ve already shown you twice but you still don’t get it?" Drake cursed fervently, "Fine you know what since we’re in school to learn, I’ll do you a favor and show you again." Drake said then drew his hand again

"No, stop!" Zack upon seeing this had his eye’s clear up and hastily retreated. He thought to himself that both those slaps might have been nothing remarkable, he could see them coming since Drake wasn’t moving at some terrifying speed, but for some reason he just couldn’t avoid them.

It was like he wanted to evade, but his body was not moving to his will. Instead it was staying in place for Drake. Zack knew something was wrong and he believed that if Drake really tried again he would probably still be unable to dodge and would just get another slap, he was angry not stupid.

"Are you sure? You know they say three times is the charm. Maybe I should just show you. Just one last time." Drake persuaded taking a step forward.

But Zack hastily jumped back. "No, we’ll just use a Power detector."

"Humph, Fine then, the kids these days always looking for the easy way out. Don’t they know a little suffering is good for them? With a mentality like this you will be terrible as a science student." Drake grumbled and sighed, "You’re not a man, you’re weak as a Mage and you’re terrible in science. Your future really is dark."

But he also muttered softly in an almost inaudible voice, "You can consider that your punishment for attracting the Golden Crown Tyrant Hawk over and putting Sylvia and Cassandra in danger."

Cassandra and Sylvia’s bodies shook slightly, they both heard Drake. Who would have expected that he would do this for the both of them. The light in their eyes turned warmer when they looked at him. However only a few men saw this and their hearts nearly shattered seeing their Goddesses behaving like that towards another man.

The spectators chuckled when they saw that dissatisfied look on Drake’s face. It really looked like he was mourning the fate of the world.

Zack’s face turned purple, but he restrained himself. He didn’t dare to take a step forward to attack Drake since he didn’t want to get slapped.

It didn’t take long for a scanner to be brought over and Drake’s Battle Power was soon on display.

2300 Battle Power!

The glaring figure of Drake’s Battle Power sent waves through Zack’s mind.

"That’s impossible! That power detector is definitely wrong." Zack shouted. "Do it again."

"This little Shit!" The men at the door were already overly impatient, they wanted to slap this idiot, but restrained themselves. They did the scan again and the same number still projected.

"Let me do it." Zack rudely grabbed the Power Detector and scanned Drake again. But he still got the same figure.

"How? This is wrong, this should be impossible."

He then scanned himself.

It was accurate! Then he still tried scanning Drake. Yet again

"What’s going on! How is your Battle power so high?" Zack roared, "It has only been a few days. Your Battle Power was less than 700 BP just three days ago, how did it rise to 2300 BP in such a short time?"

When he said this several Mages had changes in their expressions their eyes narrowed and they stared solemnly at Drake.

Raising his Battle power so fast in such a short time wasn’t really possible was it? But then they thought about it.

’Maybe he was just concealing his Cultivation level in the past.’ once they had this thought their hearts regained their calm.

However, while they were busy convincing themselves, there was someone who wasn’t fooled. Jeremy stared unblinking at Drake with a stern expression on his face.

He worked with the entertainment industry. If there was something about his line of work, it was that they payed very close attention to details.

When he first heard about somebody killing not just one but two Grade 3 Magic Beasts with one being at the peak of that level it was no longer something to joke about and call a false alarm.

Now there was talk about him advancing his cultivation level at impossible speed.
