Chapter 579: Chapter 302: Never Separated Again (1/2)

Howard Geoffrey pulled Rebecca Quentin’s hand down, his deep eyes gazing at her intensely.

Rebecca’s cheeks blushed shyly. Seeing the faint flame burning in his eyes, she weakly uttered, "Don’t forget, I’m a patient..."

She reminded him that they shouldn’t be engaging in strenuous activity right now.

Howard’s eyes, filled with desire, did not weaken. He swiftly reached out, placing her hand on his eager part, while leaning in to kiss her lips...

She had no way to refuse him, gradually getting deeply involved.

After it all ended, he didn’t even put on clothes before going to the bathroom to grab a towel.

Rebecca looked at the part of him that hadn’t fully calmed down, recalling its strong appearance earlier. Her palm seemed to still feel that burning heat.

Howard sat down on the edge of the bed, helping her wipe away the sticky residue on her hand.

After he finished wiping her, she hid shyly under the quilt.

Not long after, Howard climbed back up, hugging her from behind.

He had obviously taken a shower, his body cool and refreshing, still without clothes.

Rebecca turned her body slightly, whispering like a mosquito, "So... are you staying here tonight?"

There shouldn’t be any danger now...

Howard kissed her neck, responding gently, "Mm."

Rebecca closed her eyes, finally tired after a sleepless night.

Howard intertwined his fingers with hers under the quilt, also seeming tired after a satisfying enjoyment.

Rebecca thought she’d sleep well but somehow, despite being tired, she couldn’t fall into a dream.

So Rebecca carefully turned her body to face Howard.

At this moment, Howard had already closed his eyes, asleep.

Rebecca nestled against his chest, poking his firm chest with her finger, murmuring to herself, "Howard, how am I supposed to explain to Aunt Clare and my sister about us being together?"

Howard replied ambiguously, "Mm..."

"What do you mean ’Mm’? Rebecca looked up at Howard, tugging on his arm, "Hey, don’t sleep, keep me company and talk..."

In his sleep, Howard kissed Rebecca once, "Be good, don’t cause trouble."

Seeing Howard deep in sleepiness, Rebecca couldn’t bear to disturb him any further. She rested her head on his arm, staring steadily at his profile.

Why can someone be so good-looking?

Bored, Rebecca began studying Howard’s appearance, unable to resist tracing his eyebrows, eyes, cheeks, chin with her fingers...

It seemed like only at this moment she truly felt he was right beside her...

Resting her head on his arm, her lips curled into a smile of happiness, slowly drifting into a sweet dream.

Night.

In the villa garden, Chester Robinson had just handed the car keys to a servant when another servant rushed over.

Chester raised an eyebrow, already seeing the fragile figure crouching outside the villa’s entrance.

The servant said, "Mr. Robinson, Miss Robinson has been waiting for you all day... We’ve been urging her to come inside, but she insists on waiting at the door."

Chester’s gaze fell upon that figure, and he said faintly, "I know."

The servant promptly retreated.

Chester walked straight toward the villa, passing by Alice Robinson without even looking, as if she weren’t there.

Seeing Chester, Alice joyfully reached out to grab him, standing up, exclaiming excitedly, "Brother, you’re back."

Chester glanced at Alice, uttering lightly, "What wind brought you here again?"

Faced with Chester’s indifferent words, Alice, who usually boasts in front of Chester, remained silent, gazing at him with pleading eyes.

Chester kept walking toward the villa.

Alice hurriedly followed him inside, calling out anxiously, "Brother, brother..."

Chester loosened his tie, heading upward.

Alice rushed to the second floor as well, in the hallway, her slender figure blocked Chester’s path. She stretched out her arms to intercept him, her voice choked, "Is it possible even you want to abandon me now?"

Chester chuckled coldly, examining today’s Alice.

Messy hair, bare face, a haggard appearance, a completely miserable and downcast look.

"Did I hear wrong? It’s always been you, Miss Robinson, who can abandon people, isn’t it?"

Facing Chester’s sarcastic remarks, Alice sobbed miserably, "Why don’t you talk nicely to me anymore? When did our relationship change to this?"

Chester’s indifferent gaze swept over Alice, saying nothing further, as he headed toward his room.

Alice followed him into his room, ignoring Chester undressing and walking into the bathroom, choked with grief, she pursued, "You never used to talk to me like this... Why have you changed? Brother..."

Listening to the rushing water from the bathroom, Alice sat on the bed’s edge, crying in distress.

After a while, Chester came out of the bathroom drying his hair.

He didn’t bother to dress, casually draping a robe, seeing Alice crying on the bed’s edge, he chose to ignore it, sitting on the window-side sofa, lighting a cigarette.

The smoke curled upwards, veiling Chester’s handsome face.

Alice slowly stood up, tear marks on her face, she approached Chester, fixedly looking at him, hoarsely said, "From the day you entered our home, I’ve considered you my real brother. Despite past unhappiness, despite complaining about you, despite not being moved by your giving, I’ve always seen you as my closest brother... I thought you’d take care of me like an older brother for life, that I could rely on you for life. But why... why did you suddenly lose warmth towards me? Your involvement with Rebecca Quentin is less than a year, I don’t believe you love her so much to disregard me!!"

Chester extinguished the cigarette, his brows displaying a lazy, uncaring posture, chuckling lightly, "Since when did you start caring about my personal feelings? I thought all you cared about was yourself."

"If you liked a normal woman, I’d mind less, but why her, Rebecca Quentin?"

Chester leaned against the chair back, leisurely asking, "Oh, what’s wrong with her?"

Alice emotionally exclaimed, "She’s just a slut!"
