Chester Robinson gently placed his hands on Alice Robinson’s shoulders and softly said, "Do you want me to watch as you are with Howard Geoffrey?"

Alice Robinson spoke bitterly, "I told you, I love him. I want to marry him in this life..."

Chester Robinson stood up in anger, mocking, "Too bad he has only been using you all along..."

"No." Alice Robinson shook her head forcefully, "He’s been very good to me for the past six months, he even promised to go to France with me tomorrow for my uncle’s sixtieth birthday banquet."

"How far will you go in deceiving yourself?" Chester Robinson sneered, "The woman he cares about has never been you!!"

Rebecca Quentin shook her head quickly, "No, I’m not asleep yet... How come you’re in New York?"

"I took leave from the hospital, came to New York specially to find you."

"Find me?"

Chester Robinson looked at Rebecca Quentin’s surprised expression and smiled, "Aren’t you inviting me in?"

Rebecca Quentin awkwardly said, "Uh, please come in."

Chester Robinson followed her into the room.

Noticing a computer on the table by the window, Chester Robinson asked with concern, "Working so late?"

"Yes, quite busy."

Chester Robinson sat down on the sofa.

Rebecca Quentin handed him a drink and then sat opposite him, asking seriously, "You said you came to find me specially, what do you mean?"

"Yeah, I came specifically to ask for your help."

Rebecca Quentin puzzled, "What help requires you to fly to New York specifically to find me? Also, how did you know I’m staying at this hotel?"

"It’s not hard to find which hotel you’re staying at. As for the help I need, it’s actually quite simple..."

"In a couple of days, it’s my uncle’s birthday. He’s hosting a family gathering, so tomorrow I’m flying to France to help him celebrate... When she was with Howard Geoffrey, she hadn’t encountered Robinson, so his memory of her might be very vague, mostly remaining from when she worked with Skyler Jones. Therefore, she wasn’t afraid of Robinson recognizing her; but, given the setting, being a lover and having previously been a rival to Alice Robinson, she was indeed unsuitable.
