Clan Prosperity Starting With My Servant Girls-Chapter 286: Moonlight Water
Not feeling tired, Lin Xuan Qi opened the manuscript and proceeded to read about the other spells.
He began with learning the Earth spell and he directed his Five-Element Qi into his spleen.
After which, he chanted the words that were written on the manuscript and he raised his arm with his palm facing up.
Earth appeared out of it and he didn’t stop, directing more of his Five-Element Qi into his spleen.
The Earth that was conjured out from his palm increased and turned harder.
Lin Xuan Qi tried to focus and control the form of the Earth.
He wanted to see if he could create a wall out of it.
It worked.
Due to his ascension to the Mid stage, he had enough Five-Element Qi to do so.
Lin Xuan Qi felt an immense sense of achievement but he didn’t stop at it.
He went on to the next spell on the manuscript.
After filling up his lungs with the Five-Element Qi, his body started to turn metallic.
He swung his arm around, and he could feel the air waves moving while he did so.
And with his body in such a form, it gave him much protection and he felt that he was impenetrable to most mortal attacks.
Finally, Lin Xuan Qi moved on to the last of the spells and diverted his Five-Element Qi into his kidneys.
Water sprouted out from his fingers, to which he quickly stopped.
He wouldn’t want to make a huge mess in his bedroom.
Lin Xuan Qi thought that he could try it out in an open space when he had the chance.
Which he thought would be useful.
He wanted to experiment with the spells in different surroundings to see if having more of a certain element in the surroundings would make a difference to the power of the spells.
Now that he had learned and tried out the five different spells, Lin Xuan Qi decided to stop and take a rest.
He picked up the Five-Element Stone that he was using and he could sense that most of the Five-Element Qi within had been depleted.
Lin Xuan Qi decided to put it aside from the other Five-Element Stones since it was near the end of its utility.
He stood in front of the wooden chests and felt that he was fortunate.
There were still a lot of the Five-Element Stones from the system that weren’t utilized yet.
And that reminded him that his marriage with Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi should be in his consideration soon.
Mustn’t keep them waiting for too long, he thought to himself and he gave out a sigh.
Thankfully, they were patient so far and didn’t make much noise.
...
In the mountains near Hong Feng City, a group of men and women were ascending on one of the slopes.
"Let me handle it." Huo Fei Li was taking the lead and he volunteered to help clear the vines and thick vegetation that was blocking their way.
He held his sword high and slashed it down.
Whoosh.
The blade of his sword gave out a blue glow and a slicing wave shot out from it.
All the vines and vegetation that stood in its path offered no resistance.
They were shredded into pieces upon contact with the slicing wave.
Huo Fei Li stood up straight with his chest up high and he turned around to glance at Lu Ting, waiting for her praises.
But she only shook her head and kept quiet.
Huo Fei Li had tried to actively help along the way and she let him be.
Lu Ting wanted to see how long he would put it up and if he would be tired from it soon.
To which, he was surprisingly pretty persistent and didn’t let up.
And even though she didn’t say anything to him, her silent acceptance of his help made him very happy and he was delighted.
Giving him motivation to carry on.
"Let me scout ahead first." Huo Fei Li said and she gave him a nod.
He smiled and turned around to walk further ahead.
Lu Ting was trying to look for the Moonlight Water in the surroundings where there was a stream close by.
And although it was called Moonlight Water, it wasn’t really water.
The Moonlight Water was a form of liquid that could be harvested in the roots of the Moonlight Herbs.
These Moonlight Herbs grew near cold streams, gathering all the Yin Qi from the surroundings, concentrating it into their roots.
And it was so extreme with the attributes of the Yin Qi that it was deemed unsuitable for use with other Spirit Herbs.
Lu Ting had to try her luck out here in the mountains but she felt that there was a high probability that she could be able to find it.
It was rarely harvested and the Spirit Herbs in these mountains were plenty.
Just like the Dragon Tail Herb she had found and gifted to Lin Xuan Qi earlier.
"Come with me." Lu Ting frowned and waved at her men and Huo Fei Li’s men, gesturing them to follow her.
He was taking a moment too long to come back to her and she was getting impatient.
All of them walked further ahead and when they walked through the clearing that Huo Fei Li made, they could see the stream not too far away.
Lu Ting shook her head when she saw Huo Fei Li standing there ten meters from her.
"What took you so long..." She stopped when she realized that there was a man fishing by the cold stream.
"I was making sure that this man isn’t freezing out here." Huo Fei Li turned around and pointed at the man.
The man wore a dark robe with his long flowing black hair sat by the side of the cold river with a stick used as a fishing rod.
He turned around and glanced at Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting.
His eyes gleamed with a sense of hope, which contrasted with his pale skin.
Huo Fei Li stood in front of Lu Ting and said, "Mister, you will freeze out here in that thin robe of yours."
He didn’t sense any Spirit Qi and thought that the Dark Lord wasn’t a cultivator.
