He turned around, placed her back down onto the ground and said, "Take a few deep breaths, there’s nothing to fear."

She nodded her head and peeped over his shoulder to see what he was doing next.

Seawater dripped down from the Kelp after Lin Xuan Qi picked them up from the water.

He glanced further out into the water and saw that there was more Kelp.

"Master Lin, be careful." Yue Xin said to him with her hands on her chest when she saw him going deeper into the seawater.

"Don’t worry, I know how to swim and it’s low tide now." Lin Xuan Qi waved his hand at her and said.

When he turned around and came back towards Yue Xin, he had two bunches of Kelp in both his hands.

His face was full of smiles and he was certainly glad to have made the trip here.

"Master Lin, is that the thing you were looking for? Is it... tasty?" Yue Xin pointed at the not too appetizing looking Kelp and asked.

"It’s nice but I wouldn’t say it’s tasty and besides that, there is a much better use for it than to be eaten directly." Lin Xuan Qi said while they headed back towards where the others were.

"Master Lin, let me see."

Zhi Yong was amazed by the Kelp and he came over to see it clearer.

Lin Xuan Qi passed him a bunch of the Kelp and said, "Bring it back with us."

That’s all he got for now to experiment and Zhi Yong would be helping him with it as usual.

As for the rest of the Kelp, he had other uses for them first.

"That’s the thing you were looking for?" Xue Cong asked and he nodded.

She was also full of smiles when she heard him. Glad that he was able to accomplish what he had wanted to do.

Yue Jie was also glad with his discovery.

She glanced at the Kelp which was still wet and dripping with water, and asked, "Would it spoil under the sun?"

That reminded him that the sun at the seaside was much hotter than usual.

So, he glanced in the direction of the fish market and said, "We shall make a trip to the fish market first."

"What about these?" Yue Xin pointed at their catch of clams and asked.

He shrugged his shoulders and said, "We can get these to the inn and ask the innkeeper to prepare the meal with it."

Yue Xin nodded at the good news and picked up the pails.

At the fish market, the fishmongers were now packing up for the day.

Some of them had sold out while those who had fish left were bundling them up to cook for a meal when they got home.

When they saw Lin Xuan Qi again, they didn’t know what he wanted and one of them pointed at the kelp and asked, "This sea grass isn’t much of a use, you will be wasting your time to try and sell it to us."

The other fishmonger nodded and thought that this young master from the city was like the others they had heard about. Naive about the realities of their lives.
