Claimed By A Dragon Prince-Chapter 89: What Did I Do....?
Chapter 89: What Did I Do....?
Lily was still trying to wrap her head around what she had just done. The beast in her drove her actions, but she knew at any time she could have stopped him. Told him no, pushed him off of her, but no, she fell deeper into his erotic embrace. She knew it was wrong; her bond should have reacted, but it didn’t, which confused her even more.
*What am I gonna do? I still want him, but I want Dimitri just as much. How do I....?* She tried not to freak out even when her mind was still in a daze. Her body was humming after a dangerously wonderful sexual experience with someone other then her mate. She never thought that could happen with anyone other then Dimitri.
Than a thought came to mind. She wasn’t a creature of this world. Both her parents are gods which brought her to believe that the rules for her might be different. Maybe. She was trying to make sense of a situation on a burnt out energy level. "I need to eat. My head is killing me."
Dran jumped up bringing over the tray he had brought with him. There was sliced meats, fruit, cheeses, and pieces of bread with some sweet alcohol in a jug to his side. "I’ll keep this to myself. You will probably be drunk on one sip." She gave him a pout that almost broke his resolve. "No, eat." She placed some cheese and a slice of meat together biting into it realizing just how hungry she was.
Picking one of the berries Dran watched her eat surprised she wasn’t trying to hide her need. "You really grew up that way? Like a servant or slave, you said." Lily looked over at him surprised he would bring this up. Swallowing her food she thought about why he was asking this.
"My father put me there to keep me subservient to him so I would never leave. Being what I am, my own nature and need to be free drove me to go to the Dragon Academy. I needed an out and I was smart enough to take it. After living a decade being the Royal Wolf Clan’s lap dog I wanted to hurt them, but doing that would hurt more then just them. So I made sure to leave somethings in place to make sure the citizens weren’t too effected. I miscalculated the queen’s abilities and others like your settlements in the Wolf Territory were hit and damage was done. It’s my fault. That’s why I am trying to find the source of the toxin and destroy it."
He could see she had more then what she was saying to explain, but from what he could understand she needed someone who would help her with this problem. He had taken her off her journey and brought her here because of his family issues. *Collateral damage.* Was all he could think listening to her.
"You can’t be responsible for people when you weren’t given the actual power to help them. They wanted you to make them look good without actually doing the work. That is far to much responsibility to put on one person. What rules and law as of state did they teach you? Were you give the same education as the prince and princess? No you had to figure it out all without knowing any of that and still doing more good then they ever could. Cut yourself some slack. Come on finish up, and get dressed I want to show you something."
Lily was a little sore, but in a naughty way she was trying not to think about. She still smelled like him and that might be taken as something with his people. She went to bath when he grabbed her hand, stopping her mid step. "Don’t, please." He didn’t quite look at her when he asked this, but she knew what he was asking.
"I can’t make this choice right now. If I do it could hurt Dimitri, especially when I haven’t talked or connected our bond again after being apart for so long. A week may seem like nothing to you, but to me it feels like out connection is a breath away. Please not now." She pulled her arm free walking to the pool submerging herself as she rubbed her body down before surfacing stepping out washing her hair then rinsing it before jumping back in the pool the let her body relax.
She tried not to think about how his mouth felt on her skin or when he bit down on her hip all she could do was lean into his mouth more moaning out his name. *I’m so screwed.* Her body responded to the thought of his touch. When she thought about Dimitri and how he held her in his arms stroking her pussy from behind with his cock she was just as hot and bothered for him too.
Her mind was conflicted and she had no idea what to do with it. A hand reached in to pull her up as she surfaced she flipped her hair back as the rush upward caused her hair to cover her face. To Dran she looked like a sensual water goddess ready to take him if she chose. She grabbed the edge as he let her hand go. "I was fine. I have good breath control." She wiped her face wiping the water from her eyes.
Dran wasn’t sure what she could do and knew she hadn’t surfaced for a while. "Sorry." She pulled herself out of the pool reaching for a towel drying off. He handed her the dress she tried to put on earlier, but he ended up taking off her. He tried to push away the images in his mind of her begging him for more. "I’ll just wait out here."
Lily was dry enough to get the dress on now since the material was really soft and loose on her. Her curves were emphasized as he hips poked out more and the slits exposing her thighs more. The top part was corset style without the boning, long flowy sleeves all in a deep blue/green material. "If I didn’t know better I would swear your dressing me in something expensive. This is a high quality stitch pattern and this material had only been seen in certain parts of the world. Did it come from here?"
Lily walked out brushing her hair with her fingers the dress he chose for her looking even better then his mind thought. He wanted to show her what her gift had done for his people so he tampered down his need. She slipped on the slippers she was given yesterday not wanting to put her boots on. "Shall we?"
Dran was dazed watching her but shook himself back to his senses opening the door offering his arm. She took it knowing people knew she was his guest. Walking out, the wreckage from the other day was cleared and business was as usual it seemed. "They seem to be used to crisis. Are there any injured?" She might be able to use the little bit of dragon moss on one or two people who desperately needed it.
"Don’t worry about that. My people can handle the after math of the slug attack. They come when ever there is energy bursts and you are not the first to have one. My people are used to these things. As you can see some now have more of the black on their skin then before. Those are the ones who blocked the slugs from harming others. We found this out on the first couple attacks suffered here."
Lily listened as they walked down one of the main streets seeing how they had rebuilt some of the buildings knocked over and the shops that had been leveled to the ground put back to rights. Then she seen someone she never expected to see in a place like this. She knew they carried unusual things in their shop, but she never would have guessed they went this far to get anything.
"Bar, what in the world are you doing here?" The big dragon turned to the voice speaking to him and gave her a weird look. "Wait a minute, aren’t you Trinee’s....?" The big booming laugh that followed almost made her jump. "We’ll of all the places. What are you doing here lass? Trinee isn’t with you is she?"
Lily laughed, happy to see a familiar face. "No, I was on my way to do research on the toxin when this one decided to deter me on my journey." Lily pointed to Dran, whom she still had a hold of. Bar looked the Dragon Master over assessing his worth.
"Nope not sure he’s up to par. You sure about this one, deary? The prince has a sharper mind and more money." Lily’s jaw dropped hearing this as Dran coughed trying to cover his nervous laugh. Of all the things she expected to hear him say that wasn’t one. *Wow.*
