"Well, are you guys done with your preparation? If you intended to kill me with boredom, then you're already halfway to success!" Xanadu, who was nearly out of patience, yelled out, disturbing Myne and the others' meeting.

"Yes, yes, we are done. You demon are so impatient," Myne shook his head and took a couch out of his inventory. He set it down and sat on it while gesturing for Xanadu to start his so-called game.

"Hmph, you certainly have self-confidence, don't you? Alright then, please do your best not to die immediately; otherwise, I'll feel bad for wasting so much time," Xanadu, holding back his anger, gave a forced smile before looking at his pet Chimera, who unwillingly got up and roared loudly.

"Guooooooooo!!"

"Well, your first match will be against Test Subject Number 1, so who among you will go first?"

"Waffle, Ted, if you two lose, you'd better not show me your face for the next entire month, or you won't end up well," Myne gave Waffle and Ted an unfriendly look. Both of them understood that their leisure time was at risk, so they nodded at him with a serious expression before rushing forward.

"Waffuuuu!"

"Wovuuuu!"

"Why are you two making noise pollution like that idiot beast!"

Waffle and Ted hadn't even finished showing off their might like the Chimera before Myne poured cold water on their excitement and interrupted their joy, earning a hateful look from them. But he didn't care about their mood and scowled at them to hurry up.

"We have to teach this bastard a lesson," Waffle spoke to Ted in a low voice, not taking the Chimera coming toward them seriously.

"Yes, recently he's been a bit too much of an asshole with us... Should we disclose his affair with Sylphy's mother? That blow should be enough for him to get beaten to death by Aisha and the others, right?" Ted asked with a sinister smile.

Although Myne always tried to be careful while having fun with Garnet (Sylphy's mother), there was barely a 10-meter distance between her house and his. With Waffle and Ted's monstrous physiques, how could they, who always wandered around the houses looking for fun, never encounter weird noises coming out from Garnet's house and curiously sneak in to look for the source?

They had known for a long time the reason why Garnet had moved near their house and so close to Myne, but because they thought this secret could be used against Myne as an ultimate weapon someday, they never disclosed it and always pretended as if they didn't know anything about it.

"It's a good idea, but we have to be careful. I saw Myne using some kind of weird skill to manipulate June one time, and she did what he told her like a puppet. We'd better not get caught, or our end won't be simple," Waffle reminded Ted with a serious look before throwing hundreds of fire bullets at the Chimera.

Myne, who was watching the battle, feeling a bit bored and occasionally sneaking a peek at Pillow's voluptuous figure while imagining all kinds of moves he was going to play with her, suddenly felt chill run down his spine as if he was being targeted.

"Which bastard is so free to think bad things about me?" Myne looked at Xanadu, but finding that the other party was busy watching the battle and didn't look like anything evil was going on inside his mind for him, he rubbed his hair in confusion, wondering who else could be targeting him.

Never in his dream could he imagine that just because of a few words he said to encourage Waffle and Ted, both of them had already started looking for a place to dig a grave for him.

While Myne was in confusion, Xanadu wasn't better off. He also didn't expect that a dog and a wolf could throw his mythical beast into a passive state, not giving it any chance to fight back. From the moment the battle started, like a gun with unlimited ammo, Waffle had been shooting fire bullets, while Ted's Lesser Eyes had been glued to the Chimera's forehead.

He seemed determined to make two ventilator holes in its head so its brain had enough room to get oxygen. And because Waffle also used his Eyes of Gravity skill, putting hundreds of pounds of weight on the Chimera, its movement speed was no different than a turtle's, making it a practice target for both of them.

Suddenly, a green transparent film appeared before the Chimera, blocking the bombardment from Waffle and Ted, giving it some time to breathe.

However, because the film could only block one direction instead of covering the Chimera fully, the gravity effect on it didn't disappear, and it was still experiencing the feeling of carrying a mountain on its back.

Feeling angry for being bullied by two small rats, suddenly all the golden hairs on the Chimera's body stood up, blue lightning started shining in its eyes, and out of nowhere, a black cloud appeared in the close space of the dungeon, covering everyone's heads. The next moment, blue thunder could be seen rushing in the clouds.

Before everyone could understand what was going on, with an eye-blinding flash, thunder fell directly on the heads of Waffle and Ted, hitting them very accurately. Of course, one thunder was never enough, and the Chimera also acknowledged the fact that "more is better" and continued throwing thunder on Waffle and Ted.

Because of this, for the next 10 seconds where Waffle and Ted stood, there was a continuous bombardment of thunder and lightning, literally making the audience blind and deaf from the aftermath.

"They should be fine... Right?" Aisha, who was soft-hearted most of the time, couldn't help but ask worriedly.

"They are fine. With the Ultra Regeneration skill, they are no different from cockroaches. This kind of third-rate attack is far from enough to kill them. They might be stunned, and it will take a few seconds to recover," Myne casually waved his hand, not paying much attention to the childish fight before him.

Currently, his entire focus was on Pillow and her super hot body, like a pervert old uncle who saw a young girl on the road and couldn't hide his lust.

Thankfully, his wives stood behind; otherwise, he would have definitely earned a few slaps. But because of his hungry gaze, Pillow was continuously getting goosebumps, and she couldn't help but get closer to Xanadu, fearing that the next moment, Myne would rush to her and eat her alive.

This human is so disgusting. Why is he looking at me like I am some kind of food, and he can't wait to eat me, She thought while hugging herself. Years of staying with demons, she had long seen the super dark side of humans and knew what kind of creatures they are, but it was still hard for her to understand how there could be such a disgusting and perverted race out there.

"Cough, cough, this is hurt…"

"I told you to pay attention…"

After a dozen seconds of bombardment, Chimera stopped attacking and waited for the dust to settle down to see the result of his hard work. But he was dumbfounded seeing Waffle and Ted coming out from the dust cloud completely fine without a single injury.

But before he could make another move, suddenly he again felt as if someone had put a mountain on top of him, making even raising his head hard. Then, suddenly, everything around him went dark without a single hint of light or sound, as if he were teleported into the abyss.

Thankfully, maybe because of his weird situation, the weight on him lifted, and he could move freely. Only he didn't know where he was or what was going on.

First, Chimera used his skills, and after making sure everything was alright, he unfolded his giant wings and started flying. But everywhere he looked, there was just darkness and silence; nothing could be seen.

Only God knows how long he was flying, hungry and thirsty, tired as a dead dog. But finally, a ray of light shone in front of him.

The Chimera, just like a lost traveller in a desert seeing an oasis, desperately ran toward the light, and hope again ignited in his almost dead heart.

He ran, ran, ran, and finally reached the light. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself back in the dark tunnel of the dungeon, with a black dog standing in front of him, and his eyes were glowing with a purple, dark glow.

"Nice attack," was the only work the Chimera could mutter before its eyes rolled back and it lost its consciousness.

"Cool…"

Waffle was dumbfounded by Ted's ultimate attack and couldn't help but give him a jealous look.

"You damn bastard! Didn't you say you never practised secretly? Then where did this deadly attack come from? You just looked at him, and the other party was directly knocked out! What kind of cheating skill is this?" Waffle, as always, started complaining.

"This is not an ultimate attack, but my innate skill, 'Nether Eyes,' just like your 'Gravity Eyes.' You can control gravity, while I can seal someone's consciousness in a dark space and absorb all their mana until they lose all their consciousness," Ted explained while walking toward Myne and the other. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

But what he didn't say was that he couldn't fully control this skill, which made it a double-edged sword, which is why he never used this before. Once someone's consciousness is sealed, he has no way to unseal it unless the other party automatically comes out. And there is also the risk of them permanently falling into a coma and losing their life.

"Nice job, little 'dogo.' I didn't expect you to have improved so much, unlike some people who only know how to give trouble," Myne looked at Waffle with a side eye while praising Ted. When it comes to motivating people, he never slacked off.

"You... you... Just you two wait! I will show what I can do!" Waffle, who felt like he was being bullied, instantly exploded and decided that after this matter is over, he will rush to his mother and practice hard under her guidance and teach Ted and Myne a good lesson when he becomes powerful. No one can look down on a Divine Beast's child.

"We will see. Hopefully, you don't forget your words, and I don't find you lying on the couch when I wake up tomorrow," Myne didn't care about Waffle's outburst since it was nothing new, and he heard those words once every week. Instead, he looked at Xanadu, who was inspecting his "Pet" with an amazed look while rubbing his chin, seemingly in deep thought.

"I really underestimated those two little guys behind you. I never expected that they were someone with a rare bloodline, which I can't even detect. What a wonderful surprise. Now I am looking forward to winning this game and having some quality time with them," The more Xanadu looked at Waffle and Ted, who are still bickering in the background without paying his nonsense any attention, the more excited he became, just like a toddler who gets a new toy and couldn't wait to see what is inside it.
