Chasing The Vengeful Villainous Heiress-Chapter 90: The slaughter scene
People watched in horror as they watched Lucy slaughter the servants in Valerie’s room. The screams were unbearable and the scene was horrifying and disgusting.
Lucy suddenly regained her strength and ran towards the screen, yelling.
"Turn it off. That isn’t me." But her screams were unheard as everyone could see clearly that it was indeed her and she looked extremely pleased as she splattered the blood of innocent people in that very room. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"N-no. It wasn’t me." She kept screaming and her mother ran to her, holding her.
"Turn it off. You’re scaring my daughter." She claimed but it simply made Valerie laugh.
"I’m scaring your daughter?" She asked and laughed once more. "Look closely, the person who is scaring her is herself. Her real side has come to light."
"This is all fake, how dare you frame my daughter with this edited video?" Bernard added. "Put that down. It’s all fake."
They were acting out and so Max had his guards hold them down.
Each of them were restrained from moving as they pleased and were forced to watch the massacre.
"How dare you do this? First, you humiliated us, now you bring up fabricated videos. You’re so shameless!"
As soon as Bernard said this, the screen, showed Frankie entering the room to the shock of what she saw.
Lucy saw her and before Frankie could turn to escape, three servants tackled her down. As a black belt holder, she wouldn’t have a problem breaking out for their hold in seconds but Lucy was quick on her feet, so before Frankie could even try to struggle or fight them off, Lucy had stabbed her in the back.
"Now, we can’t have that bitch Valerie finding out about this before the big moment." She said, digging the knife deeper into her and causing her to scream in pain.
Max looked down at Valerie, wondering if she was okay watching this but Valerie was not watching the screen. She was hearing all that was going on but she did not flinch as her eyes were dead set on Lucy in real life.
In the dim hall, her red eyes seemed to glow for real. It was glowing with sheer hatred and was hungry for bitter revenge.
Everyone had their eyes on the screen. It was horrifying but they wanted to see it to the end. It was unbelievable that Lucy was such a person. But what was even more unbelievable was her plan.
On the screen, Frankie still tried to free herself even with the knife deep inside her back.
"You still have the energy to move?" Lucy asked, took out the knife and stabbed once more. She repeated that action over and over again, laughing like a maniac and enjoying the sheer look of pain on Frankie’s face. "I can’t wait to see her face when she finds out her precious little assistant is dead. Hahaha, it’ll be hilarious. I can’t wait."
She looked like a complete lunatic laughing with blood on her face and her eyes screaming madness.
"Valerie, this will be the end of you." She said. "With this, I will finally get rid of you."
They dumped Frankie alongside the other bodies and Lucy ordered the servants to bring in the clothes to dress the dead people as dolls.
Once they were all gone, Frankie, who still had a bit of life left in her looked towards one of the cameras, one she was sure would get a good angle of her, and smiled. Then, she coughed out blood.
"Valerie," she said with the little strength she had left. "I always... wanted you to live a happy life. I wish..." She coughed once more and started heaving deeply, about to surrender to her fate. "I wish I could’ve at least seen that happen. Someday, you... You’ll be free from this family." She closed her eyes and smiled. "Please, live well. Don’t..." She managed to lift her hand a little bit above the ground. It was trembling and tears slowly slid down her left eye. "...let them bring you down. Please, be happy."
With that, her hand finally dropped and she gave up the ghost. Valerie closed her eyes for a moment, fighting the sadness she had to experience all over again.
It was hard when she watched it the first time. The words her only friend said to her on her last breath...
"I hope now we can all see who the real murderer is." She said and opened her eyes. She faced the guests. "I hope that gives most of you a clear sight as to who this ’kind and caring’ Lucy really is." She snapped her fingers and another slide showed. "And this is me," the scene of when she entered the room after the incident showed. "On that night, when I was accused and sent to the asylum."
The screen replayed her entry into the room. When she saw all that had happened from all angles. The disbelief on her face and the lady who had tried to attack her from behind which she retaliated against by using the knife stuck in Frankie.
It proved her innocence but that did not prove every other thing she had done so she started playing the clips one by one.
She snapped her fingers and another clip showed. It was Lucy in the kitchen when she stabbed herself and blamed it on Valerie.
After that, there was the scene of Lucy and Valerie talking by the staircase when she grabbed Valerie’s hand to her chest, smirked, and fell back like she had been pushed in the presence of the maids.
So many instances and Lucy felt lifeless.
She didn’t think any of those were caught on camera. Even things that were dated back to two years back, three years back. She played them all.
The viewers outside, watching the Livestream, were all speechless, already sending curse words at Lucy. Calling her the devil himself. They rained insults on her whilst her mother kept demanding that those fake videos be put down at once.
The reporters in the venue were so close to storming closer and interrogating Lucy but the guards were keeping them in check. They could only record, jot down on their notepads, and stream what was going on. They were not allowed to move from their positions.
"This is so awful. Who would’ve known that such a thing had been going on?"
"All those accusations, to think they were all fabricated."
"Valerie Ross is not only sane, she has been subjected to so many bullying attempts. This is crazy. And to think that none of us knew the truth."
The reaction from the guests was alright but Valerie was not satisfied. Ruining one’s reputation and humiliating her in public was not enough to condone her sins and the lives she had taken.
"Many days for the thief, one day for the owner, uncle."
Then, a reporter raised his hand,
"May I ask a question?"
Valerie turned her head to look at him and gave him a go ahead.
"For so many years, you have been subjected to such treatment and have been regarded as a villainess, why have you been quiet all along? Why did you not defend yourself? And why now did you choose to take action?"
