Tristan heaved out a breath of relief when he didn’t find any major injury on Ashley’s body but what pissed him off was the irresponsibility of the crew members. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

How can they ignore such a big thing? Because of their negligence, three people would’ve lost their lives.

Pulling away from the hug, Tristan stood up to leave but Ashley stopped him and asked," Where are you going?"

Tristan looked at Ashley and watched her get up. "Are you going to fire the entire safety team?" she asked.

Ashley had already sensed this coming. Tristan was more than upset and she was sure in his rage he would end up suing everyone involved in today’s shooting.

"Don’t go" she quickly butted.

Tristan frowned when she stopped him from taking strict actions against the crew when because of their mistake she would have suffered a major accident.

Looking at his displeased look, Ashley heaved out a sigh and slowly wrapped her arms around his torso.

"Bernard has already taken their class. Everyone is shivering right now. Why do you want them to pass out because of your anger" Ashley was already informed how badly Bernard had scared the entire team by interrogating everyone but what made her wonder was their response.

’We don’t know how the brakes failed, everything was fine when he drove the car on the spot’ is what everyone said from the safety team, but still she felt something was a miss.

Ashley recalled seeing five safety crew members but at the time of interrogation, she only saw four of them. One crew member was missing.

Tristan who noticed the change in her facial expression felt something suspicious going on in her mind.

Without beating around the bush, he immediately asked," What happened? Why aren’t you defending them anymore"

Though Tristan was curious to know what was going on in her mind, still it didn’t stop him from showing his disappointment for the crew member.

Ashley snapped out of her thoughts and watched Tristan staring at her curiously. "I have a feeling that this accident was caused on purpose?" she wasn’t sure entirely but deep down she felt that the brakes were intentionally tampered, so she could suffer the cause.

Tristan’s eyes went cold the next instant and the person that crossed his mind was non-other than Gabriel.

"I am going to kill that bastard" Gritting his teeth in fury Tristan pushed Ashley’s hands from his waist and dashed out of the vanity van furiously.

[ Outside]

"I am sorry sir but you can’t meet madam now" Miley looked at Riel helplessly who rushed to the set when he learned about Ashley’s accident from one of his informants.

"Why can’t I see her? I just need to check if she is alright" Riel wasn’t ready to listen and kept pestering Miley to let him in just for a second.

The two were busy arguing when suddenly the vanity van’s door flung open and Tristan stepped out.

The moment his eyes fell on Gabriel, he lost his mind and without thinking anything, he dashed towards him, pulling him by his collar.

A forceful punch landed over Gabriel’s face and he fell down with Tristan quickly hovering over him followed by multiple punches back to back.

"I will fucking kill you bastard" Tristan kept on throwing punches at Gabriel until he started bleeding.

Jack who just returned with the water bottle witnessed the fight and immediately rushed toward the two.

"Boss... let him go..." Jack tried to stop Tristan but as if his body was possessed by some powerful entity, he found it hard to even pull him back.

Ashley who heard the commotion outside the vanity quickly rushed to find Tristan beating Gabriel endlessly. His hand didn’t seem to stop even after Gabriel was on the verge of losing consciousness.

"Tristan..." calling out his name in worry, Ashely rushed towards them.

"Tristan stop... he is bleeding" As if her words went unnoticed Tristan didn’t stop it anyways, but when Max joined Jack and pulled Tristan forcefully it was then, the man had let off his boss.

Gabriel gasped for air and he coughed out some blood simultaneously. Tristan had almost killed him if Jack and Max hadn’t pulled him.

Pushing his beaten body, Gabriel tried to stand on his feet but stumbled. It took him some time to finally find stability as he wiped off the blood that he coughed.

"Let me go... I am going to end this revenge here and for all" Tristan yelled with his bloodshot eyes throwing daggers at Gabriel.

At first, Gabriel didn’t understand the reason behind Tristan’s madness but when he heard him mention the word revenge, his entire body stilled.

Luckily there were no people around to witness Tristan’s outrage, but that doesn’t mean this commotion wouldn’t gather attention, if not stopped.

Sitting in the back seat of his car, Gabriel left the shooting spot along with Max. Tristan’s punches had left him with bruises but he didn’t feel any pain. His mind was busy replaying the words he said in the spite of his anger.

’I know it’s you who caused this accident and let me warn you Gabriel I won’t ever forgive you for this. You have to pay for this’

Gabriel was so busy in his thoughts that he didn’t realize that the car had stopped and he was back at his place.

"Boss.." Max said as he turned back to look at Gabriel who looked deep in thought.

"We need to treat your wounds" it as then Gabriel fluttered his eyelashes snapping out of his thoughts and found them already in front of his house.

Giving him a nod, Gabriel then stepped out of the car and walked ahead while Max silently followed him.

Inside the room, Max was busy applying ointment on the cut Gabriel received on the corner of his lips due to Tristan’s punches, but never once did he watch him hiss.

Max knew Gabriel had long lost the ability to feel pain but this one wasn’t something he should ignore. Tristan had blamed him for something he didn’t do and yet here it was sitting quite enduring all of this.

Once he was done, Max got up to leave when Gabriel stopped him. "I need you to find the person who caused the accident. I am sure someone is trying to double-cross us"

Max eyed Gabriel with a complicated expression as he watched him stand. Turning around Gabriel walked towards the window and looked out in the far distance and continued.

"The person is aware of our disputes with Tristan and he is trying to take advantage of that," he said with his eyes turning cold the more he stared ahead.

Max had the same feeling but he didn’t voice his doubts thinking Gabriel would get upset. But he was thankful that his boss thought the same.

"Right away boss" saying Max then left the room with Gabriel still standing by the window.

Unconsciously his hand touched the cut he received from Tristan and his lips twitched in pain. "Whoever you are, you have surely messed with the wrong person"
