Chapter 82: 82.

Ethan and Adrian entered the gates of the Sebanil mansion, the sprawling estate exuding a warm, timeless charm. Despite the grandeur surrounding him, Adrian’s heart felt a mix of anticipation and nervousness. This visit to his biological parents’ home had been a decision he took his time to make. Though they had reached out to him earlier, asking him to visit whenever he felt comfortable, today was finally the day he felt ready. With Ethan by his side, he felt reassured, knowing he wouldn’t be alone.

Cain and Jesper had been waiting by the entrance, both beaming with uncontainable joy as they watched Adrian and Ethan approach. Cain had already called Diana and Yuin, eager to introduce Adrian to his siblings. Jesper, standing proudly beside his partner, looked especially delighted as he took in the sight of Adrian. As soon as Adrian and Ethan reached the door, Cain’s face split into a wide smile, his happiness radiating with every word.

"Adrian," Cain said warmly, extending his arms. "It’s so good to see you, my boy." He pulled Adrian into a hug, holding him close for a long moment. "Welcome home."

Jesper joined them, his expression gentle and filled with emotion as he looked at Adrian. "We’re so glad you’re here. We’ve been waiting for this day, hoping you’d feel ready."

Adrian offered a small smile, his nerves slowly easing as he felt the warmth in his parents’ embrace. "Thank you... both of you. It feels good to be here."

Ethan gave a polite nod, holding Seraphina and Aurelius close as they squirmed with curiosity at their new surroundings. Cain’s eyes softened as he noticed the twins. "And these must be the little ones," he said, crouching slightly to meet their eyes. "Hello, Seraphina and Aurelius." freewёbnoνel-com

The twins stared at him, their little faces lighting up as they waved back, instantly charmed by their grandfather’s kindness.

Just then, a blur of energy burst through the doorway—it was Diana, Cain and Jesper’s eldest child. She had rushed home the moment she heard the news, her excitement evident in the way she nearly sprinted through the hall. As soon as she saw Adrian, she froze, her eyes widening as she took in the striking resemblance between them. Adrian’s face mirrored hers almost perfectly, their shared features unmistakable.

"Adrian..." she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

He barely had time to react before she flung her arms around him, pulling him into a tight, overwhelming hug. Adrian was taken aback by the force of her embrace, but he quickly relaxed, a gentle smile spreading across his face.

"Diana," he said softly, returning her hug. "It’s... it’s really nice to meet you."

She pulled back slightly, looking him over with a wide smile that was both ecstatic and slightly teary. "I can’t believe you’re here. I’ve always wanted to meet my little brother," she said, her voice shaky. "This is... beyond anything I’d hoped for."

Jesper stepped forward, placing a comforting hand on Diana’s shoulder. "We finally have our family together," he said, his voice filled with happiness. "And I couldn’t be more grateful."

Diana glanced down and noticed Ethan, who was standing beside Adrian, watching the reunion with a gentle smile. Her eyes flicked to the twins, and a surprised look crossed her face.

"Wait... are these...?" she asked, looking back at Adrian.

Adrian nodded with a soft chuckle. "Yes, they’re my kids," he said, then added with a bit of pride, "And this is Ethan, my husband."

Diana’s eyebrows shot up, a mixture of astonishment and slight disapproval in her gaze. She crossed her arms and looked at Adrian critically. "You got married and had kids already?" she asked, her tone slightly scolding. "You’re so young, Adrian! Even Yuin and I are still single!"

Adrian chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well, it just... kind of happened. But it’s the best decision I ever made," he said, glancing at Ethan with warmth in his eyes.

Ethan, smiling politely, extended a hand to Diana. "It’s a pleasure to meet you, Diana. Adrian’s told me a lot about his family, and I’m really glad to be here."

Diana accepted the handshake but continued to look at Adrian with a playful, reproachful expression. "You could’ve waited a few more years, you know? You didn’t have to make me look like the only single one in the family!"

Jesper laughed, stepping in between them. "Alright, alright, Diana, let’s not give him too hard of a time on his first visit." He looked at Adrian, his eyes warm and proud. "Besides, we’re just happy that he’s found his happiness."

Just then, Seraphina tugged on Adrian’s shirt, pointing at Diana as if she was asking who she is, Because Diana looked exact copy of Adrian.

Adrian looked down at his daughter with a soft smile and nodded. "Yes, sweetheart, she’s your Aunt Diana."

Diana’s expression melted instantly as she crouched down, her eyes twinkling as she looked at Seraphina and Aurelius. "Oh my goodness, I get to be an aunt now!" she exclaimed, holding out her hands. "Can I give you two a hug?"

The twins giggled and leaned into her embrace, laughing as Diana showered them with affection. She was clearly delighted to meet her niece and nephew, and they quickly warmed up to her as well.

As they settled into the dining room, Cain began serving the food, with Jesper arranging the dishes. The family gathered around the table, laughter and stories filling the room. Adrian felt a warmth settle over him, the kind of comfort he hadn’t known he’d missed until now. His family was lively, welcoming, and full of warmth he couldn’t help but appreciate.

They spent the evening talking and catching up, Diana excitedly sharing stories from her life and work, while Jesper talked about his adventures raising three kids. Cain, always the loving father, kept sneaking glances at Adrian, as though to remind himself that his son was finally here.

"So," Diana said after a while, raising an eyebrow at Adrian, "what’s it like being a dad?"

Adrian grinned, his gaze softening as he looked at Seraphina and Aurelius, who were playing at the table’s end. "It’s wonderful. Exhausting, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything."

Ethan placed a hand on Adrian’s shoulder, sharing a warm glance with him. "He’s an amazing dad. I don’t know how he does it, honestly."

Diana rolled her eyes playfully. "Well, now I have to catch up," she teased. "I can’t let my little brother outdo me in everything."

Jesper chuckled. "And Yuin, too, when he finds out," he added, amusement in his eyes. "He’ll probably be jealous he missed all of this, but he’s on a night shift, and his phone’s on silent when he’s working in the lab. We’ll have to fill him in later."

As the night wore on, they laughed, shared stories, and enjoyed the food together, each of them basking in the sense of belonging and connection. Cain and Jesper occasionally exchanged glances, their faces glowing with pride and joy. It was evident that they’d been waiting for this moment for years, and they couldn’t be happier.

Finally, as dessert was being served, Diana leaned back in her chair, looking at Adrian with a warm, sisterly expression. "You know, I never thought I’d get to meet my youngest sibling," she said, her voice soft. "But here you are, and I couldn’t be more grateful."

Adrian felt a warmth in his chest, a feeling of acceptance and love that he hadn’t anticipated. "I’m grateful too, Diana. More than I can put into words."

Cain, watching his children, spoke up, his voice filled with emotion. "Our family is complete now. Having all of you here means everything to us."

Ethan, who had been quietly observing the reunion, spoke up with a smile. "We’ll definitely be visiting often. I think the twins have found a new favorite place to be."

Jesper smiled, his eyes shining with happiness as he looked around the table. "Good. Because now that you’re here, Adrian, we’re not letting you go too far."

The family shared a final toast, raising their glasses as they celebrated the bonds they’d found and the love that connected them. Adrian’s heart felt full as he looked at each of them, his family—a family he’d thought he’d lost but had found again, and with it, a piece of himself he hadn’t known was missing.

As the night drew to a close, Adrian felt a warmth and peace settle within him, a sense of belonging he hadn’t experienced in years. With Ethan and his children by his side and his newfound family surrounding him, he knew this was just the beginning of something beautiful.

Ethan looked at Adrian who was looking at everything and suddenly thought of how Adrian will be gone for 3 to 4 months and Ethan had to look at the empty room.

Suddenly Ethan decided to complete all his work and go abroad with his wife.

As soon as he thought this, Ethan found it feasible.
