CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 276: Dimensional Tear
Crow transformed his Nether Spear to be longer. He thrusted it to the ground, causing water to shoot up.
The Abomination put his hand over the water.
"Water Clones!" Crow used another spell of Mater.
It was different from when Mater used it. Instead of the water turned to clones, the water climbed onto Crow’s body then leaked out from his feet.
Two clones stood up from the ground. They weren’t identical to Crow. They had his similarities for sure. But instead of pure shadow, they seemed to be constructed from black dense liquid. These liquids constantly deformed slightly around the edge like they’re in zero gravity.
Crow assigned each of them the skill Nether Fighter.
The clones summoned their own weapons. One was a spear while the other was a war hammer. They jumped into the battle with Crow.
"It seems that I worry too much. He got this in the bag." The black cat was proud of his servant.
Crow, his two clones, the spider, and Mater’s own two clones were enough to deal with these Peak Rank-1 Wraiths.
And now, it was time for Mater to enter the battlefield.
The portal in the middle shook as a guardian of the Void stepped out.
"That’s my signal."
A fire vortex enveloped Mater as he teleported to the portal.
The Guardian showed itself. This time it was a white stingray.
Mater immediately restrained it with Hellfire’s Sealed Pit and Chains of Shadow.
"Can you survive my rams?" Mater summoned three Infernal Ram one after another.
The first ram charged at the stingray and pushed it to a giant boulder. It slammed the stingray at the hard rock, causing its body to break. Then the first ram disappeared.
The second and third rams came right after. The second ram drove the stingray even further into the rock. The third ram drove the guardian straight through it and carried it for a few more distance before disappearing.
The stingray cracked open, revealing a rather sinister dark eye underneath.
"Ah... I know you."
The dark eye aimed at Mater and released its mental attack. But Mater had already teleported away, causing the attack to miss. He reappeared behind the stingray. His mouth already a ball of darkness within.
Mater threw the Blinding Void at the stingray, blinding it and neutralizing its ability to use the eye’s power.
Then he bombarded it with endless Nether Beam.
Solarix sweated slightly. She thought her Infernal Rays was already violent. But that was nothing compared to the ugly sight of the stingray right now.
Crow just finished the Void Wraith. He landed beside Solarix.
"Master is scary!" Sol said.
"That’s obvious." Crow shrugged. He threw the Nether Spear at a nearby wraith, "Stay focus. We need to keep these wraiths at bay. Do not let them distract Master."
"Got it." Sol said.
The stingray trembled on the ground. It gained back its vision but it was already at its deathbed. It saw the horrifying creature that had best it mercilessly.
An arrogant black cat with teeth as white as the moon.
"Buh bye!" Mater landed on its body. His small paw pierced through its eye and crystallized it.
Selina was doing physical exercise at the Institute. She suddenly felt a jolt in her legs.
"Aw, come on!" She said but she still helped Mater convert the stingray into an Emotional Gemstones.
The stingray had become a dark Gemstone in Mater’s hand. "A Horror Gemstone?"
Mater swallowed it and put it into his Demonic Arsenal.
Crow and Mater had also finished the remaining wraiths. Mater came and collected all of their Chaos.
"Close this gate, Crow." The black cat meowed.
"Got it, Master."
The Abomination put the rectangular device down and sealed the Gate. The shining sphere of white disappeared. The barrier in the middle was weakened a little bit.
"Let’s continue. We have a lot to do today." Mater said.
They went on and dealt with the other four Void Gates. The strength of the enemies there was similar to the first Void Gate. Mater didn’t have any problem dealing with them.
He gained four other Horror Gemstones.
"All Horror? Maybe I can construct a new Mental Rank-2 spell with this." Mater had an idea for a spell. But he left it for later.
He also gained 1,308 Chaos Spheres. Other than that, he also gained 770 Chaos Spheres from the revenant horde at the entrance. His total Chaos Spheres was 4948 Chaos Spheres.
Mater could even have even more Chaos Spheres if he didn’t choose to convert some of the Rank-1 Void Wraiths into Chaos and Emotional Gemstones.
He gained 30 Rank-1 Chaos Gemstones and an additional 50 Emotional Gemstones of different colors.
Selina had grown so accustomed to creating the Emotional Gemstones that it was barely affecting her daily life anymore. The process also reinforced her mind even more.
She was absorbing the Chaos Spheres Mater left behind to reach level 7 and had been dealing with the madness they brought. But that side effects were minimal now as her mind grew stronger.
Mater also extracted Minor Chaos Singularity from Peak Rank-1 Void Wraiths, making his total Chaos Singularity to 30.
"Well. This should be enough for raising all my servants to Rank-2." The cat smacked its lips.
In his past life, when he was still a Rank-2, he was never this rich. Not only did the Holy Order and other factions constantly hunted Warlocks. Warlocks also competed with each other. Their sources of Chaos were very limited.
But here, he could eat as much as he liked. And he even got paid for it.
This world was truly a Warlock’s heaven in disguise.
They stopped in front of the white barrier in the beginning. It was very weak now.
Crow easily shattered it with his Nether Spear.
"Have some Chaos to refill yourself." Through the Submission Pact, Mater raised Crow and Solarix’s Chaos Well to max.
"Thank you, Master." Crow said.
Solarix bowed her head, "I am grateful for you, Master."
"Good. You should be ready to deal with the minions." The black cat cracked its neck. "I suspect this one will be much more dangerous than the rest."
"I am ready, Master." Crow nodded.
The black cat turned to Solarix, "You should pick some of my spells to be with you."
"What do you mean, Master?" Solarix titled her head slightly.
