CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 192: Death Ice Storm

The power of Nether and Death Ice leaked out from the helmet and the bones of the elk. They went inside the sophisticated ice sword.

The vortex of fire screamed at Mater. It broke through the first quadruple-layered Force Dome. Then the second. Then the third.

Mater materialized more Force Domes one after the other.

The water clone also assisted with its Elemental Shield and helped as much as it could.

"What are you trying to do, Heretics?! I will burn you all!" The Ascendant shouted.

He raised his palm and put even more power into the phoenix spear.

Mater could feel the unbearable pressure of death for the first time since he came to this world. Blood shot out from his jaguar’s nose.

"Shit!"

But he did not falter and continued to create more and more Force Domes. His Chaos Well was drained like the bottom of a well. The fire vortex became more powerful and each Force Dome couldn’t even hold on for a second.

The Earth Elemental Shields disintegrated the moment they were formed.

Bash jumped up in the air and successfully grabbed the Ascendant. The man was too focused on controlling the phoenix spear.

Crow found a chance and immediately used Abyssal Dash. He went inside the fire vortex and summoned his own Nether Spear.

Crow smacked the phoenix spear. He growled as his trench coat was disintegrating away. His dark skin burned and peeled itself off.

Crow screamed and successfully dislodged the fire spear. The spear was sent flying away and the fire vortex disappeared.

The black jaguar fell to the ground. The water clone disintegrated since all of its Chaos was drained.

"Let go!" The Ascendant shouted.

Another heat wave exuded out of his body but Bash held on.

Bash pulled the Ascendant down to the ground and held him tight.

"Bash... must... protect... Master..."

"Ugh! Ugly creature."

The Ascendant raised his hand. The phoenix spear returned from afar.

He thrust the spear through Bash’s head. Bash’s exoskeleton broke like eggshells. His eyes lost their colors and his arms flopped to the side.

The Ascendant kicked Bash and sent him away.

"You shouldn’t have done that."

Crow transformed into a giant gorilla and grabbed Aurora. He used Abyssal Dash and brought her right in front of the Ascendant.

Crow retreated as quickly as he could and covered his face.

The white elk slammed the sword into the ground.

The Ascendant turned his head back. His eyes widened as he saw the tip of the sword touch the ground.

The world was blinded. A white light filled the space. The temperature dropped drastically even more than before.

The Ascendant was thrusting the sword at Aurora but he was frozen.

His entire body was encapsulated in Death Ice. His fire dimmed as it struggled with the power of the hell of ice and darkness.

"You?!"

The Ascendant’s entire body trembled aggressively but he was unable to break free.

That entire area around the maze was completely covered in ice.

"Die!"

Aurora screamed. She thrusted the sword into the Ascendant. It went through the Death Ice but was unable to penetrate the body of the Ascendant.

Crow rushed to her side and grabbed the hilt of the sword. Death Ice’s power climbed onto his body but he didn’t let go. Crow helped Aurora push the blade into the Ascendant.

The Ascendant couldn’t do anything but stared with his wide eyes. The Glacial Sword went into his abdomen.

"Glacial Lances!" Aurora screamed. Thick sharp pillars of Death Ice shot out from the blade and the ice that was covering the Ascendant.

They plunged inside him, further limiting his Holy Fire. Lava leaked out from his burned body.

"Move away!"

Mater growled.

Crow pulled Aurora to the side. The Spike Ball shot from behind and smacked into the Glacial Sword, sending it even further into the Ascendant.

"How dare you kill my servant?!" Mater’s deep voice echoed.

The black jaguar climbed onto the Ascendant and opened its mouth right at his face. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

"Nether Beam!"

Mater released his machine gun into the Ascendant. The beams dug deep inside the Ascendant, gouging a big hole on his face.

The black jaguar pushed the ice statue, letting it fall onto the floor.

"Survive that, you bitch!"

Mater growled.

The black jaguar rushed to the Infernal Demon.

"Is he alright, Master?" Crow limped forward.

Mater shook his head. The structure within the Infernal Demon was falling off.

"He is dead for sure. But I can rebuild him."

Mater pulled Bash inside the Dark Grimoire and kept him there. The Dark Grimoire would stop him from dying and keep him in that half-dead state.

A laugh echoed throughout the maze.

The black jaguar snapped his head back to the ice statue.

The ice around the Ascendant slowly melted away. The fire returned to the body as it grew and transformed.

"Of course it wouldn’t be that easy." Mater took a deep breath.

Crow used his own Chaos to heal himself back up. As an Abomination, he was the only one that could do that amongst the servants.

The man turned into a flaming bird and flew into the sky. The fire wings spread wide in the air.

"I’m impressed. You’re one of the more... special Heretics that I fought. But you will die today."

The Ascendant flapped its wings. Countless fire feathers formed in the air. There were so many that it lit up the entire dark sky of the maze.

Aurora quickly rushed over to Mater. She summoned ice pillars around them for protection.

Mater manifested many multi-layered Force Domes and Elemental Shield.

The storm of flaming feathers rushed over them. These feathers might look less powerful than the fire vortex but each feather could easily crack the Force Dome.

A few shot through all the protective layers and even pierced through Mater.

There was nowhere to run.

’Shit. Maybe I should have chosen Fae Shift.’ Mater thought to himself.

"Remove the helmet, Aurora. You and Crow need to return to my Dark Grimoire."

"But, Master?!" The two of them blurted out.

"Just do as I say."

The pair didn’t want to but they followed their order. They returned to the Dark Grimoire hidden inside Mater’s Demonic Arsenal.

"Let me see if this works."

The black jaguar grabbed the Abyssal Helmet with his claws and put it on him.
