CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror-Chapter 163: 5 VS 7

All the Chaos focused in the altar room. Mater led the group back into the building. They watched as the seven statues on the altar slowly came to life.

"The Rituals use the statue as vessels... Interesting. Stay alert, everyone. This wave might be very dangerous." The black cat squinted its cat eyes and meowed.

"Should I stay, Mr. Mater?" Selina said.

The black cat nodded, "You can contribute in the battle. Use the Glacial Gun only and if they attack you, use the GAIM to protect yourself."

The black cat spat out the Abyssal Helmet and gave it to Selina, "In case you need it."

"I won’t use it unless it is absolutely necessary."

Mater turned to the Infernal Demon, "Protect my queen at all cost."

Bash tapped his chest, "Bash kill all things for the Lady!"

Mater jumped off the book. The watch on his thighs shone brightly a green color. When he landed on the ground again, Mater had become a big fearsome black jaguar with spikes on his spine.

The black jaguar cracked its neck, "Battle formation."

"Yes, Master!" The servants replied in unison.

Bash went to the front and acted as the tank of the party. Crow climbed and stood on his shoulder. He could advance and retreat at the same time. Aurora stood the farthest in the back, attacking or supporting allies in the front.

Next to her was Selina.

Mater didn’t join the formation as he would run around freely.

"If you see a chance, go for the kill shot, Crow." The black jaguar growled deeply.

"Understood, Master!" Crow tipped his fedora.

The seven statues on the altar jumped down. Their uniforms matched the seven uniforms that the wraiths had been wearing.

The statues came to life and transformed. This time, the wraiths weren’t fully animal anymore. Instead, they were a fusion of humanoid figure and animalistic traits.

The brown wraith had large bear paws and claws. It grew fur and a snout but stayed relatively human.

The grey wraith grew two pairs of wings on its back. A grey spear appeared in its hand. It grew grey feathers and a beak on its face.

The green wraith had its face grow longer like a snake and its nose flattened. Its legs fused into one single snake tail but it still retained its two hands. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

The red wraith had become a lizard man with a long tail. Its fingers fused into three individual sharp claws.

The blue wraith had its head completely transformed into a fish. It lost all teeth and other features on its face. Its eyes became a full black color and it had fins for ears.

The yellow wraith transformed into a lion man with a full lion mane and large body. Its golden fur enveloped the wraith body.

The white wraith stayed human. Its skin was as pale as paper and it had a wide grin under the cloth on its face.

"All are level 9. Except for the white one. It has reached the maximum power of level 10. It is a false rank 2."

The jaguar licked its lips, "That means it has a Chaos Singularity. My Bio-Lock is closer than ever."

The white wraith bent its body backwards. Its head landed on the ground as it screamed.

The scream echoed throughout the building and even reached the Psychics outside the mansion.

The Psychics covered their ears as they stumbled around in panic. The scream made the sky and earth flip in their minds.

Detective Flintstone was able to hang on. He raised his hand and shouted, "Activate the Disruptor!"

A second barrier was activated around the mansion. This barrier consisted of an invisible wave that blocked the mental attack from leaking out of the mansion.

"Shit! That thing is very strong!" Chase bit his nails.

As much as he trusted Selina, it was still very dangerous facing an NCE that could make such an attack.

"What should we do, sir?" A DSI agent approached Chase and said.

"Connect me with the Hill Bureau. We may need reinforcements."

"Sir! Yes, sir!"

"Hang on in there." Chase took a deep breath.

He was a Detective. But a Detective was simply the second lowest rank of the Police Department. Chase and the agents at the premise were really not equipped to deal with a Silver rank threat like this.

Chase was different from someone who decided to stay as a Detective because of passion.

The scream caused Crow a little bit disorienting but he managed to shake it off in no time. Bash was basically unaffected and was mildly disturbed.

Aurora and Mater were the one that got affected the most. Aurora stumbled around but was able to use her Chaos to block the effect. Mater felt the room spinning and also blocked the negative effect after a few seconds.

Selina fell to the ground. She had no choice but to put the Abyssal Helmet on to protect her mind. The Dark Knight Selina returned.

Selina stood beside Bash and Crow in the front line.

"We need to get rid of that white one first." The jaguar growled.

Crow nodded. He jumped up and disappeared from vision. Crow had activated his invisibility.

Mater curled into a ball of spike and rushed at the white wraith. He summoned the Force Dome in front of himself, adding an extra layer of protection.

"Ice Cage!" Aurora clasped her hands together. She summoned an ice pillar to trap the white wraith in its location.

The lion wraith jumped in front of Mater. It roared loudly and used its body to tank the hit. Mater and the Force Dome slammed onto the lion wraith.

The lion wraith’s gigantic hands bit onto the pink barrier. Mater continued to spin. The spike ball pushed the lion wraith even further. Its legs scraped on the ground.

The lion roared as it broke the Force Dome into pieces, letting Mater slammed onto its body with all the spikes.

The lion was sent flying back. But the distance wasn’t far. It smacked its claws on the ground to stop itself after a few meters.

The spikes puncture many holes onto the lion.

The bear wraith slammed its huge arms on the ground. It picked up a huge boulder and threw it to Mater.

The fish wraith opened its palms and shoved both of them to Mater. Two water vortexes shot at Mater.

The lizard wraith climbed onto the ceiling and opened its mouth. It breathed out a string of fire at Mater.

Three attacks came at the same time in three different directions.
