Cartel Experience-Chapter 56: Welcome... or not.
It was way different than what César thought would have happened. Like, he thought that something magical would happen. Maybe some magic circle, or some glowing, maybe some teleportation or something, but neither of it happened, which was, to him, sad.
A Red Rarity card that is fucking hard to get, and not even one single sparkle, or something game-like, nothing like that.
What happened was that as soon as the card was activated with the names, César’s vision blacked out, like he got blinded, nothing but darkness and then, a second later, his vision came back, and they stood there in front of him.
All of them looked and were dressed in the exact outfit he remembered them to be in.
Matteo in his black suit, which made him look like a broker or a businessman still had his shoulder-long blonde hair, smooth skin, not one scar, and blue eyes, like a fucking model.
While at his side Hugo, the complete opposite of him. Dressed in cartel fit just like César, with a shirt and cargo pants, his face scarred, short black hair, and a muscular man in his thirties. And the last one, Arlo, was also in cartel fit, with green eyes, short black hair, and a scarred face looking exactly like a maniac.
But they were there in front of him, standing and looking... yeah, just standing motionless and staring at him with eyes that looked like they were actually dead.
"Uhh... hello guys." César said, as he felt like he was in a horror movie or something as they said nothing, didn’t even move.
[System: For the next 24 hours, they will be updating data.]
"Updating data?" César asked back as he kept looking at them.
[System: Exactly. All of the data of this Sandria will be transferred to them, as well as the data of their previous life with you. So they will remember you, what they need to do, what they live for. In this way, they aren’t just random people, but their purpose is to be on your side.]
It made a lot of sense, and that was the exact reason why this card was a game changer.
These three men were the biggest help to César in his past lives. Even Arlo was a solid one. Though his specialty was torture and butchering people, he was an assassin too. You told him who needed to die, and he did it. Maybe too bloody, maybe too gruesome, but he got it done.
And now, in this life where Sandria is real, the card was not just a game changer, but a fucking overpowered one, because the people César had summoned were real monsters on their own, and now they would be the same monsters they once were, at least when this update finishes.
"So they’re just going to stand like statues?" César asked as he started poking them.
[System: Yes, so it is better to move them into the garage and close them in until the update is done.]
Well, for a second, César thought about how to approach it, because Hugo was a big-ass man, and while Arlo and Matteo were the same height and weight as him, moving them would have been a mission, but he found an easy way to do it.
He simply pushed them to fall to the ground and then grabbed their hands, pulling them into the garage, and that was it. No harm was done, because César knew that while they were under the update, they were basically anomalies in the world, like characters that weren’t fully loaded, which meant they couldn’t be hurt.
After that, he just closed the garage door, leaving them to update. "I should do a little prep for them or would it be better to let them wander around once they wake up?"
[System: It’s up to you, but I would suggest letting them wander around a bit to map out the city and since you promised Clara revenge, you should buy stuff for Arlo to get started. His absolute favorite weapon is the scalpels.]
He suddenly went silent because the System had just reminded him that he had summoned a man who was on a whole other level of... brutality.
Even after living many terrible lives in Sandira, one man who stood out above all the rest was Arlo, because he was a completely different kind of horrifying. For César, cutting off a head was hard, but he could do it if it needed to be done. On the other hand, what Arlo was capable of was a hundred times worse.
He made torture so terrifying that even César felt a flicker of fear... just imagine it happening to him.
And now this Arlo would be the one to deal with the people who hurt Clara, and for sure, he would have a lot of fun with them. But to do that, he needed weapons and one more important thing... and a lot of it. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
[System: He also needs condoms, to avoid any infections.]
Yeah, well, César wasn’t lying when he told Clara that he would have a man who was going to do the exact same things they did to her.
"It feels weird to ask, but do you remember what kind he needs?" It felt more than weird, like buying condoms for a man who was going to fuck other men as revenge...
[System: Large and extra thin.]
Man, he had already imagined it in his head. It wasn’t like he wanted to think about it, but the scene played itself anyway... Arlo doing it. And it was his own fault, he was the one who had asked Clara if she liked the idea, and she had said yes... it needed to be done.
[System: Matteo and Hugo also need equipment, or at least phones.]
"Oh, right," he said, closing his eyes for a moment. "So Matteo needs a laptop, a phone, probably. Arlo needs a scalpel set, condoms, some zippers to tie hands." He sighed, thinking about it once again, but then he realized he didn’t really need to do it all himself. "You know what? I’ll give them money, the pistols, and let them buy the rest themselves. Fuck, am I their babysitter?"
[System: That will work, all three of them after shopping can make the headquarters at Clara house.]
That too. Clara didn’t just give the garage, she gave her house as well, the one in the hood where all the bad things had happened to her. She said the house was kinda big, but those gangsters had taken it over, which meant it would be an easy way to get it back and use it as the family headquarters at first or as a slaughterhouse for Arlo.
"But first I need to pay a visit to Sirina right?"
[System: Yes. Judging by what Clara said, Sirina and the NSA are politically opposing the current ruling party, while the police, the Secret Service, and everything except the DCA are aligned with the ruling party. That’s why they are going after you. You killed Hoffa, who was tangled in all of it, and the documents they the two women were seeking probably contain blackmail material, photos, and so on. If it leaks, it could force the ruling party to resign.]
"I accidentally started a political war... that is new for me." He laughed, and it was genuinely one, because what Clara said to him was that he had literally just fucked everything up.Waging a political war by killing one single man was crazy to him. "But who has the documents if not me... only Sirina was there and Peter."
[System: My guess is Sirina, but it doesn’t fit the picture that she tried to kill you.]
"Well, she obviously knew about Hoffa and his shit, which means maybe she got the plan to steal the dossier, collect the documents and all that, then kill me because she thought I was a DCA agent. From that point on, Hoffa would have been blamed for killing a DCA agent." He shook his head. "That is a genius plan."
[System: There are details that don’t fit this scenario, but it’s better not to care about them. You need to be a top cartel figure, not a political one, so go ask her, then put a bullet between her eyes.]
"No, that is not exciting." César said as he began to walk. "I wrote ’corruption kills’ in blood, and it will just turn things up even more. And on top of that, I need a connection to an agency, and Sirina will be a good one." His smile grew bigger. "She is young and opposes the ruling party. I like it. But of course, I will not get myself tangled in it. I will kill everybody who comes against me or wants to pull in."
[System: You are already deep in the bullshit, so just kill whoever wants to drag you deeper into it.]
"Good advice, but now let’s go to Sirina and talk with her."
[System: Talk or torture?]
"Both of them."
