Campus Cultivation Master-Chapter 666 - 0668: Comes With a Faucet
Chapter 666: Chapter 0668: Comes With a Faucet
Chu Feng drove away from the exit ahead but didn’t head to Dragon Soul’s base. Instead, he made a U-turn and went straight back to the main urban area of Yanjing.
He found a five-star hotel. The beauty, who was Huang Lan’s sister, took a relaxing bubble bath and then a full-body spa before floating elegantly back to her room.
Chu Feng really started to wonder if he was being fooled. His sister’s life or death was uncertain, and yet she seemed to be in the mood to indulge in such activities. Of course, this was at least one good sign, it probably meant that Huang Lan should still be safe.
"Let me introduce myself formally. My name is Official Huang. It’s not the ’qing’ as in the color green, but the ’qing’ as in ’a beauty in her own right.’"
Chu Feng said, "You already know who I am."
Official Huang said, "You think I’m not here to save my sister. But you keep staring at my feet. Are you here to save my sister?"
Chu Feng, with his face turning red, said, "That’s a reflex. Let’s talk business."
Chu Feng took a deep breath and tried not to look as he asked, "What happened to your sister? And how did you know I would come to Yanjing?"
Plucking a lady’s cigarette from her pack, Official Huang lit it with grace and said, "Seems like, whether by blood or family, I am closer to my sister, aren’t I? Do you think there are any secrets she would only tell you but not me?"
This is what it’s like dealing with a Spirit; having a normal conversation is pretty much impossible.
"Fine, you talk, and I’ll listen without interrupting," Chu Feng said.
With a seductive smile, Official Huang put her cigarette in the ashtray and said, "Truth be told, my sister really likes you a lot. She’d rather put herself at risk to protect you, making me, her younger sister, stand under the blazing Sun on the highway to stop you, so you wouldn’t walk into danger."
At Official Huang’s words, Chu Feng’s expression changed and he asked, "What’s really going on?"
Official Huang looked at Chu Feng and said, "Don’t scare me. If you scare me, I’ll forget everything, you know?"
Chu Feng’s expression darkened, and he said, "You should know that everyone’s patience has its limits. If Huang Lan really is in danger, I won’t be polite even to her own sister."
The temperature in the room seemed to drop several degrees as a result of Chu Feng’s attitude, making Official Huang shiver involuntarily.
But this only ignited Official Huang’s fighting spirit more. She sat up straight and said, "The more anxious you get, the less I’ll tell you. Why has it always been the case since we were young that she’s better than me at everything? She finds men faster than me, and better ones too. Grandpa always favored her from childhood."
Upon hearing Official Huang’s words, Chu Feng, with his hands braced on the coffee table, leaned closer and said, "Do you know? If I want you to confess, there’s a very simple and direct method."
Official Huang retorted, "If you dare touch me, I guarantee I won’t tell you anything. Anyway, my relationship with her isn’t that great."
Chu Feng raised his hand and pressed on Official Huang’s acupoint.
With her acupoint sealed, Official Huang became anxious and said, "Chu Feng, what do you think you’re doing? If you dare do anything to me, Huang Lan is as good as dead."
Chu Feng was really provoked by this capricious sister and said, "I won’t touch you, but I will break those legs you’re so proud of."
When Official Huang heard what Chu Feng said, her face turned pale. That was her most prized treasure; hurting it would be more painful than death.
"Chu Feng, don’t you dare!" Official Huang yelled furiously.
Chu Feng said, "There’s nothing I wouldn’t dare to do. If Huang Lan is really in danger, I could do this every day to you."
If Huang Lan truly was in danger because of her sister, Chu Feng wouldn’t guarantee what he might do.
Up to this point, if Huang Lan had not been in danger, she could play around all she liked. But now that there was a possibility Huang Lan was in danger, she no longer had a say in the matter.
Looking into Chu Feng’s cold, emotionless eyes, Official Huang felt a chill rise from the depths of her heart.
"Wow!"
All of a sudden, Official Huang burst into tears.
Official Huang’s crying also confused Chu Feng, and that cold expression he had couldn’t be maintained.
"You... what are you crying for?" Chu Feng was truly lost in such situations.
Of course, that’s provided that the crying woman must be a friend, not an enemy. If it’s an enemy, Chu Feng would never believe their tears.
"You... you’re bullying me. I... I was just testing on behalf of my sister to see if you were reliable, and you’re scaring me like this," Official Huang managed to say through her sobs, crying even harder.
Chu Feng was scratching his head, quickly released Official Huang’s acupoint, and apologized, "I was wrong just now. I shouldn’t have scared you. I’m sorry, I’m just too worried."
Hearing Chu Feng’s words, Official Huang’s tears suddenly stopped and she said, "Alright. I accept your apology. However, after you rescue my sister, you have to tell her that all the credit this time is mine, and that she owes me a favor."
They say women are made of water, but a woman with a water faucet is a real woman.
Chu Feng didn’t know what kind of Devil she was, her tears flowing like they cost nothing.
But to rescue Huang Lan, Chu Feng would endure it and said, "Okay, all the credit this time is yours."
Official Huang smiled proudly and then, more seriously, said, "Two weeks ago, my sister got in touch with me. She told me about her situation at the time, and about you as well.
She told me that if I couldn’t get in touch with her for two weeks in a row, it would mean she was in trouble. Then she instructed me to wait for you on the highway and stop you at all costs. I was not to let you go to Dragon Soul because she said if something happened to her, it could only mean she was being controlled by Dragon Soul. If you went there, you’d be walking straight into a trap."
"So this young lady breathed in car exhaust for several days straight, saw countless lecherous uncles, and finally managed to catch you. Now you know how tired I am, don’t you? But you still bully me. Don’t you think you’re being too much?"
After listening to Official Huang, Chu Feng weakly said, "Actually, you could have just come to find me in East River. Your sister should have told you my address there, right?"
