Building The Perfect Harem With My Heavenly Desire System-Chapter 56: Try Not To Get Blood On The Rug
Chapter 56
Alex didn’t know how long it had taken him to finally arrive at the villa in front of him, and frankly he didn’t care. But what left an impression on him was the sheer size of the building in front of him.
Behind the tall black gates with beautiful intricate designs, stood two massive men, each easily over six feet tall, with bulging muscles that strained against their black uniform, as they patrolled under the golden glow of the warm afternoon sunlight. Their presence alone was enough to make ordinary people run away without thinking twice.
Beyond the gates stretched a wide driveway paved with smooth, polished stone that curved gently toward the main entrance, cutting through a perfectly well-maintained lawn. At the center of the front yard lay a large fountain that stood proudly. Its layered structure looked like it was carved from pale marble. And a gentle stream of water cascaded from the top to bottom in clear streams that caught the light and shimmered like liquid diamonds before collecting in the basin below.
The villa itself was a two-story structure that combined both modern luxury with classical design, making it a work of art. It had tall glass windows that stretched from floor to ceiling, offering a glimpse of the expensive interior décor within. While the upper floor featured a set of balconies that were supported by white pillars, with each bordered with sleek metal railing. It was clear that the owner had spared no expense to make this villa truly beautiful.
Alex stared at it for a few seconds longer with a chilling light in his gleaming green eyes.
"So this is where you’re hiding. Good, it’s been a dream of mine to beat someone in such a classy place." He muttered under his breath while striding towards the entrance.
But then he suddenly halted his body. Walking in recklessly might be a really big mistake. Since the man was clearly the boss of a small time group of thugs who obviously had a lot of enemies, then it was guaranteed that he would definitely have his personal guards armed with guns.
Sure he could hold himself in a knife fight, but against a gun... Well let’s say that was a different story.
Alex turned and observed the two massive men who were patrolling the gate with a stoic expression on their faces. He figured that facing two of them should be a piece of cake, but the butt of a gun protruding out of one of the men’s pockets, made him reconsider that plan.
He came here to vent off some steam, not to get himself killed. He shifted his eyes away from the gate and scanned the fence in front of him. Though the fence stood at about two and a half meters tall, it was still easy for him to scale it. After all, the law of physics did not apply to him like that of a normal human.
So lowering his body, Alex moved carefully along the outer edge of the wall. His movements were fluid, almost silent, as he slipped into a darker section where the sunlight didn’t fully reach. From there, he paused again and watched the timing of the guards.
Soon, one of them turned towards the other saying something about a woman the boss had sent Jeffery and the others to go get. As they talked to each other with their backs facing the fence.
Alex dashed forward, with a sudden burst of speed and nimbly leapt upward. His fingers caught the top of the fence with ease and without hesitation, he pulled himself up in one smooth motion, easily clearing the height before dropping down on the other side.
With a soft thud, he landed softly on the trimmed grass with his knees bent slightly to absorb the impact. For a second, he remained still and listened, but the guards, ignorant of the fact that an intruder had just gotten into the villa, continued their patrol as if nothing had happened.
"Too easy." He smirked while straightening up.
Without wasting any time, Alex moved forward with incredible speed, while keeping close to the shadows cast by the decorative hedges and fountain. Soon he finally reached the base of the building.
So with the added momentum from his run, he planted his foot against one of the pillars and pushed himself off the ground. Then he used his hands to catch the sleek metal railing of the balcony above, and with a pull, he swung himself over the edge before landing lightly on the surface.
Straightening up, he scanned the area.
Yep, This was the place that one of the thugs had given him, before he left with Olivia. Though it was not easy, he was able to force the location out of the idiot’s mouth. So if the man was correct, then the boss’s room should be somewhere along this side of the balcony.
"I hope that idiot didn’t lie about this, if not I’ll make sure I track him and give him a very good beating that he’ll never forget for the rest of his life." Alex mumbled under his breath while making his way toward the open door.
He kicked the door open with a loud bang and stared in shock at the figure who was lounging on the king-sized bed with an unbothered expression. The figure was a surprisingly young man, who looked like he was probably around his late twenties or early thirties, with neatly styled dark brown hair and a well-groomed moustache over his slightly good-looking face, giving him that refined air, that only those in power possessed.
’What the hell?’ Alex thought, his momentum faltering. ’Where’s the ugly mob boss? This is not how TV showed them. Looks like TV lied to me then.’
This was not what he was expecting at all. He had thought that the boss would look like all those middle aged men with those large potbellies that could fill a room, and also a pig-like face that would have looked really funny, the moment he slapped it, but the man in front of him looked nothing like any of that.
The boss glanced up at him without flinching, he didn’t even look surprised in the very least, instead, he just slowly stroked his moustache, and looked at him with a mocking glint in his eyes.
"Took you long enough. For a second there, I was beginning to think that you wouldn’t be able to make it, but you came. I don’t know whether to applaud your bravery or mock you for being incredibly stupid."
Alex’s expression changed.
"...You knew I was coming? But how?"
The man relaxed against the large comfy bed, and let out a short, dry chuckle.
"Immediately after you beat up my people and walked away with that woman. One of my men called and informed me about what you did. So... I took some necessary steps since it was guaranteed that you’ll surely come to meet the person who wanted to take your woman or should I say your friend’s mother."
He sat up and leaned forward with grace and elegance.
"Now I’ll give you two choices. Go fetch the woman, bring her here, and kneel. If your apology is sincere enough, I might just let you crawl out of here alive. Or... You can just wait to join your ancestors today. Pick one."
Alex stared at the man’s smug face for a while and cursed under his breath. ’Dammit.’ he should have known that one of those thugs would have informed their boss about what transpired earlier. He regretted not leaving all of them unconscious, too bad the past was already gone.
"Wow thanks for the interesting offer, but I choose neither..." Alex said as a dark, humorless grin began spreading across his face. "But I’ve got a third option for you, how about I beat your teeth into the back of your throat and we see if you’ll still talk this much trash. Maybe next time, you’ll think twice before sending your goons to kidnap my woman."
The Boss gave a sigh while shaking his head with mock regret.
"Ah. What a pity then. A fine young man like you would have made an excellent gigolo in one of my high-end clubs. What a waste of beauty. Too bad you won’t live to see tomorrow."
Alex felt a wave of disgust.
’Why the hell does the bastard sound regretful? Don’t tell me I just walked into a psychopath with gayish tendencies, who usually hides his true nature from the world by being with different women.’
The Boss, unaware of what was currently running through Alex’s mind, simply snapped his fingers. At that moment, Alex’s body instantly tensed up. He felt a sense of danger wash over his mind, and watched as three figures slowly stepped out from the dark corners in the room with guns pointed directly at his head, torso and legs.
Alex almost had the urge to curse his luck right now. He had just slipped from two gun wielding guards outside, now here he was, stuck in the middle of three professional looking men with no blind spots to take advantage of.
Still, he glanced around with the slightest bit of hope that maybe, just maybe there was a chance of breaking out of the encirclement. He suddenly remembered the boss who was still lying on the bed and considered using him as a hostage. But the boss, as if reading his mind, stood up and walked toward the bathroom, with the casual gait of someone who just wanted to brush his teeth.
"Oh and boys?" The Boss called out over his shoulder, his voice as casual as ever. "Try not to get too much blood on the rug, that’s my favorite one."
