Building A Carnal Empire In The Fantasy World-Chapter 8: First Client I
Kael woke up to sunlight streamed through the window of his tiny room in the Pleasure Wand Whorehouse, painting the stone walls with streaks of gold.
He dragged himself out of bed, wincing as his sore muscles protested, and splashed cold water from a chipped basin onto his face. The chill snapped him awake, his half-lust demon blood stirring with a mix of exhaustion and anticipation for the day ahead.
After washing himself, pulling on a simple tunic and pants, Kael headed to the courtyard, a small, open space behind the whorehouse where the staff gathered before the day’s work.
The morning buzzed with the clatter of Eldoria’s streets just beyond the high walls. Jace, Lila, Sara, and Mira were already there, lounging on rickety benches or leaning against the crumbling stone fountain in the center.
Jace, the cocky male performer, slouched with his arms crossed, his gelled hair gleaming like a polished shield. His yester smirk was gone, replaced by a tight scowl.
Being sidelined for the House Varnell gala had clearly bruised his ego, and he wasn’t hiding it. He shot Kael a glare as he approached, his eyes narrowing at the new guy who’d stolen his spotlight.
Sara, on the other hand, lit up like a firecracker. She leaned against the fountain, her maid skirt riding up just enough to tease, her blonde hair catching the sunlight.
"Morning, stud," she purred, twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "Sleep well after the Madam worked you over?"
Kael grinned, adjusting his glasses. "Barely. You?"
She winked, her lips curling into a sly smile. "Oh, I slept like a baby."
Lila, the brunette with sharp eyes and a figure that could stop traffic, chuckled from her bench. She was polishing a dagger—because apparently, even whores in Eldoria needed to be armed. "Don’t get too cozy, Sara. New guy’s got a lot to prove before he’s stealing ’your’ clients."
Sara chuckled, drawing closer to slap her ass, "I wouldn’t mind."
Mira, the quiet cleaner, sat on the edge of the fountain, her dark hair tucked behind her ears. She gave Kael a shy nod, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her plain dress. Unlike the others, she seemed more nervous than flirty.
Jace snorted, kicking a pebble across the dirt. "Yeah, let’s see if pretty boy can handle the real work. Not all of us get to play teacher’s pet with Madam Vex." His voice dripped with venom, and Kael caught the flicker of jealousy in his eyes.
Jace had been trying to charm Sara and Lila for a long time now, to get in their pants, only to get shot down every time with no success. Seeing Sara flirt with the new guy was clearly eating him alive. The new guy strolls in and gets more action from their eyes than he’d gotten in a year of trying.
"Dirty sluts," Jace thought, his jaw clenching as Sara giggled at something Kael said. He turned away, muttering under his breath, but Kael didn’t miss the way his fists tightened.
Kael shrugged it off, his focus on the girls. Sara’s teasing was fun, Lila’s sharp wit kept him on his toes, and Mira’s quiet warmth made him feel oddly protective. They were welcoming, maybe because of his charm and handsome appearance.
The system had pegged his charm at a solid 15. Whatever the reason, their attention gave him a boost of confidence—and a spark of his lust demon blood that he quickly tamped down.
Still, part of him enjoyed the subtle shift in power. He’d barely been here two days, and the girls were already warming up to him.
Just then, the courtyard gate creaked open, and Madam Vex strode in, her black dress hugging her curves tightly. Behind her trailed a woman in a hooded cloak, her face hidden by a silver mask with golden edges.
It was common for clients to hide their identities—Eldoria’s nobles and merchants weren’t keen on being spotted at a whorehouse, especially with the Church of Sacredflame’s Flame Knights patrolling the streets.
Madam Vex’s sharp eyes scanned the group, landing on Mira. "We’ve got a client," she said, her voice smooth but commanding. She gestured to the masked woman. "Take her to Room Three."
The masked woman humphed, her voice muffled but dripping with annoyance. "It better be better than last time. That brute you gave me was rough as sandpaper. Nearly bruised my hips."
Madam Vex’s smile was all teeth, but her eyes flicked to Jace with a glint of warning. "My apologies, dear. That won’t happen again." She leaned closer, lowering her voice. "We’ve got a new performer. Younger, fresher. I think you’ll like him."
The masked woman tilted her head, her mask catching the sunlight. "Oh? I’ll try him out, then."
Kael’s stomach flipped. His first client. Already. He wasn’t ready yet—his stamina was still a pathetic 8, and his dirty talk and roleplay skills were basically nonexistent. But the system pinged in his vision, and a new screen flared to life.

Madam Vex snapped her fingers, pulling Kael’s attention back. "Kael, you’re up. Don’t disappoint me."
He swallowed hard, his heart pounding. Sara gave him an encouraging wink, while Jace’s glare could’ve melted steel. Lila just raised an eyebrow, and Mira offered a small, nervous smile. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Kael straightened, taking a deep breath of air. "Got it, Madam."
The masked woman turned, her cloak swirling as she headed toward Room Three. Kael followed, his boots echoing on the creaky floorboards.
Room Three was a step up from the tiny rooms—a soft bed with clean sheets, a small table with a pitcher of wine, and two windows letting in slivers of sunlight.
The masked woman sat on the bed, her posture relaxed but her eyes sharp behind the runes. "Well, new boy," she said, her voice low and teasing. "Let’s see if you’re worth the hype."
Kael’s lust demon blood surged, taking the woman’s words as an insult to its reputation. He pushed his glasses up, flashing a confident grin. "Trust me, I’m full of surprises."
The door clicked shut behind him, and the system’s glow faded, leaving him alone with his first client.
Kael had one job: make this woman’s hour unforgettable.
