Although the battle against Merlinus was a victory for his opposing side, the damage that the city ended taking and the loss of their King was a terrible wound left behind, one that was still bleeding a day after. The people that Planta had forcefully made to sleep and then moved to her Forest for protection had already woken up, many of them were very confused and scared at first, it was natural.

To go to sleep like any other day in your house and to suddenly wake up inside a strange magical forest full of weird creatures everywhere, without your home, or any of your possessions other than yourself was incredibly scary, even more when you were told that your house was probably wrecked and the whole city is in ruins!

The mob of people that belonged to the Luminous Kingdom were an enormous amount that even surpassed the quantity of fairies within the Forest of Beginnings, the most populous tribe of spirit people so far, who bordered to almost one hundred thousand within their large magical city.

And yet, the humans were almost ten times that, although most of them were much weaker than an average fairy, once they united into giant mobs, it was very hard to contain them without using brute force.

The children and babies crying constantly, the elderly complaining and angrily shouting at everyone, the worried parents, the mothers that didn't know what to do anymore, and the rest of the people, who felt both frustrated and betrayed by their rulers into suddenly being abducted into a weird and scary forest… it was too much.

"We want to go back! We want to go back! We want to go back!"

"Why can't we go back to our houses?! Let us go, you monsters!"

"Disgusting creatures, you aren't even humans! You dare think you can contain us here?!"

"We will go back if you don't let us! We will break through!"

"Someone call Queen Titania! She is the Queen of all Fairies! She should be able to have a solution!"

"My children won't stop crying, everyone is scared! Please do something!"

"We don't know what to do woman! What else do you want me to do?! Fuck off with your kids!"

"My shop! I left my shop alone! Is it wrecked from the war?! No… All my stuff! My riches!"

"What has been of the Adventurer Guild?! Is the Guild Master fine? I cannot find him among this massive mob of people!"

"Mom! Where is my mom? Buuuaaaaahhhh!"

"My back hurts… Aren't there any seats for us elderly people out here in this wild forest?!"

"Damn Fairies, you think you can order us around, you fucking flying midgets?!"

"Disgusting furry creatures, don't touch me! I won't eat your fucking nuts and fruits! I want meat and bread!"

The mob was massive, hundreds of thousands of people gathered within the southeast side of the Fairy Queendom's City, they had made huge packs of people constantly screaming and complaining.

The fairy soldiers looked exhausted, and it has barely been half a day since the people started waking up, they had been constantly trying to stop them from scaling the walls and trying to run into the wild forest, which is dangerous as it is full of monsters that fairies have no control over, and that's without even including how these people could easily get lost now that the forest is several times larger than before.

"P-Please stop trying to scale the walls, you'll fall and suffer a lot of damage…!"

Nieve was flying around the walls with other fairies, quickly grabbing unwilling humans, mostly men between their twenties and thirties who were trying to climb the huge walls of the city.

"You don't have the right to contain me here, fairy! I am a free human man! Let me go! I want to go BACK HOME!"

They complained, struggled, and even hit the fairies angrily, Nieve felt no damage from their blows, so she didn't care, but they sure felt like stupid children or babies to her.

The other fairies easily conjured spirit barriers, suffering no damage either, or carrying the humans that tried to escape into a different area where they were contained.

"Hah, this is already the tenth batch of wall-climbing humans, we've told them time and tiem again it is illegal, and they do it again…" Nieve sighed, glaring at the humans inside a huge building made of wood the Queen made. "Please behave! Your city is being rebuilt as we speak. Housing for all of you is being made in here as well! You just need to have patience! We can't let you go to the forest because there are dangerous monsters, and you can get lost easily!"

"What? Are you treating us like children or something?!"

"Let us go back home! We'll help the king rebuild the city!"

"Why can't we help remake our city?!"

"Because it is dangerous, I already told you before that the city walls collapsed, and monsters are roaming the ruins and even remnants of the previous battle remain! Civilians shouldn't go there yet!" Nieve insisted, raising her voice very loudly, something she usually didn't do.

"Bullshit!"

"The Holy Knights will protect us!"

"And the Adventurers and the Players!"

"There's tens of thousands of Soldiers! Can't they do their job for once?!"

"W-What are you even talking about?! All those people fought yesterday, a lot of them died and those that survived need to rest for several days before they can get up and work again!" Nieve facepalmed. "Humans, humans, humans! Ugh! You are all so selfish!"

"What did you say?!"

"Damn fairy! Come back here!"

"Where is she going to?!"

The humans kept complaining as Nieve sighed, flying away. She realized it was impossible to reason with people that had become so enraged they would simply not listen to any words.

"It's clear as water that these people had never faced actual struggles in their lives, huh? They lived very sheltered lives in the capital… It must be really hard on their minds to be going through this," Nieve though, sighing. She still had some pity for them, perhaps because she was also quite old herself. "For now, I should go tell her majesty about everything happening…"

Nieve rapidly flew back to the Fairy Queen's castle, finding the Queen looking all exhausted.
