49: Chapter 2 The Arrogant Mermaid Princess_2
49 -2 The Arrogant Mermaid Princess_2
Guoguo, with her bulging belly, hopped onto Liu Zhenhan’s shoulder, showing her teeth and making a scary face, trying to intimidate the Tigerhead Shark in front of her.
Helen had also summoned the Acidic Fish Eagle, ready for battle.
Both of them, through their actions, responded to the Mermaid Princess’ ludicrous and laughable choice.
With a smirk of contempt on his face, Liu Zhenhan held his bamboo pole and stared silently at the Mermaid Princess.
His smile was as if he was looking at an idiot who had won the laurels at the Olympic Games of Gods.
The Mermaid Princess was obviously surprised by the outcome and looked at the couple, the Beamon pair in front of her, with a bit of curiosity.
Their bravery did indeed take her by surprise.
“Fawkes Girl, tell me your name,” the Mermaid Princess ordered with an unquestionable tone, while leisurely tail-slapping the waves below a rock.
“I am the Bimeng Sacred Altar Sacrificial Soul Singer, Helen Lina, Your Highness.” The little fox maintained her perfect noble demeanour.
“So you, a Fawkes Girl, are also a sacrificial?” The Mermaid Princess laugh maliciously: “A Fawkes beauty’s price in the Human Lands of the Aegean Continent is around five thousand gold coins, and if it’s a sacrificial, the price might be even higher.
Wouldn’t it be better to capture you alive and sell you to the evil humans?”
Helen’s body trembled slightly, but still she held herself proud, fearlessly meeting the malicious smile of the Mermaid Princess.
“What about me?” Liu Zhenhan pointing at own super-sized nose inquired.
“Pigiel race’s sacrificial…..” The Mermaid Princess slightly furrowed her brow.
“You don’t talk like a well-mannered noble!”
“You are not wrong about that.
I, indeed, do not have a noble title.” Liu Zhenhan admitted.
“I just can’t imagine why the most beautiful woman in the Aegean, would be attached to a Piegel, known for laziness, greed, sleepiness, and ugliness.
Even though you are a sacrificial, what does it represent?
Your magical pets are like a clam’s shell in my eyes, so fragile they can’t withstand one blow.
Why is it that you are going against my will?
Why?” The mermaid’s voice, as if from a dream, was full of charm.
“Are all Piegiels this useless?” Liu Zhenhan, poking his own chest, replied, “Princess, do not let ordinary appearances deceive your clear vision.
You come from a realm in the sea, so on what grounds do you judge us, the servants of the war gods who walk the earth?”
“So, are you daring to challenge the most powerful Sea Clan warriors in the world?” The Mermaid Princess seemed to find his words increasingly amusing, even the Tiburhead Shark Knights around them burst into raucous laughter.
“We Beamon have a saying…” Liu Zhenhan began to improvise: “The God of War instilled humility in us, but never mistake it for weakness.”
“Challenging the strong, whether it is a victory or a defeat, is the highest honor for every Beamon,” Helen coldly stated.
“Foolish sacrificial.” The Mermaid Princess was clearly enraged.
“Richard, teach them a lesson about their ignorance and arrogance.
Show them what real power is.”
A towering Shark Knight shook his bone fork and directed his Tigerhead Shark to emerge from the formation.
With his wild look, one could tell he was of a brutal nature and his muscles guessed at his destructive power.
“Just one?” Liu Zhenhan wriggled his fingers, “You guys should come at me together.”
“Arrogant and ignorant Beamon!” The roar of the Tigerhead Knight was like a thunder in a storm, “I, Richard Kraitman, the Tiger Shark Knight, will tear you apart within three breaths’ time and feed you to my tiger shark as dinner, your magical pet will be its dessert!”
“Wait…” Liu Zhenhan interjected, “If I win, then I have to fight your buddies one by one, wouldn’t that be troublesome?
I’m thinking for you guys too…”
“Shut up!” The Mermaid Princess could no longer hold herself back: “Stupid terrestrial creatures!
Your ignorance is just like your incapable gods!
If you can defeat Richard, my guard knight, I’ll let you and the Fawkes girl go.
From then on, I’ll allow you to travel freely through the waters of the Seia Empire!”
Ha ha, this is what I was waiting for you to say.
Liu Zhenhan smirks internally, while maintaining a calm expression on his face.
The Tiger Shark Knight named Richard, with a leap, jumped onto the raft from his mount.
The raft shook under his massive weight.
“Let your puny magical beast attack me!” Richard threw his huge bone fork to a comrade, rubbed his large webbed hands together, and laughed boisterously at Liu Zhenhan.
All around them, the Shark Knights burst into wild laughter.
“Clownfish!”
“Hahaha!
Just a hermit shell dweller!”
“Just fit to play in the shallows, shrimp head!”
Insults and ridicules, accompanied by wild laughter, descended on Liu Zhenhan like a swarm of bees.
Helen was completely enraged too.
The Mermaid Princess’ words, “Your ignorance is like your incapable gods”, ignited her sacrificial pride like a flaming fire.
But her flames of anger were completely snuffed out by the imposing Shark Knight in front of her.
At two meters tall, he was quite a bit taller than Liu Zhenhan, and even wider.
The entire raft was tipping towards his side, which showed just how terrifyingly heavy this Goblin Clan’s Magic Shark Knight was.
