Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 222: EVEN even more Invaders!
Jimmy made it home with a small sense of hope. Once he confirmed that there weren’t any invaders across the line where the grasslands were separated from the rocky mountains, he became a bit hopeful, and tried to gain some motivation from the fact that his tribe was not getting invaded tonight. He tried to keep a positive attitude, because otherwise everything would spiral out of control beyond what he could handle!
He was sure that he had a few days to prepare against the incoming wave of enemies, three days at most before the first wave struck, and so he wanted to spend those three days making Compy clones in bulk! He figured that if he made over a hundred of them, likely somewhere around one-hundred and fifty in total, along with the clones he already had, then his tribe might just have a chance to fight off the wave of over four-hundred enemies without getting anyone from his tribe involved in close combat!
He just wanted to use the clones, as he figured that it was a more efficient battle plan if it was paired with some simple battle tactics, such as hurling several bags of rocks at the enemy from above, using the QTs, which should put a great dent in their numbers. He wanted to be efficient, he wanted to be hopeful, but then his parents, Gnegor and Lasra landed a couple of minutes after him, and judging from the looks on their faces, they didn’t have any good news to bring him.
Gnegor rushed forward, and exclaimed, "We’re in trouble, son, your hunch was right! There is another damn group, or an army, as you call them, coming from the tail of the mountain!"
"Of course..." He sighed, "How many of them are there? Did you manage to get a good look?"
"At least four hundred!" Lasra then exclaimed, but she was under far deeper panic compared to her husband, "We can’t fight that many people, Jimmy! Our elders are tired, and it will take a lot to drag them out of their caves again... you know how they behave. They like their peace."
"They like their peace, huh?" He grunted, and just like that, any inkling of inner peace he cultivated over the past few minutes, was gone in a snap! "Will they be any more peaceful if some hairy bastard cuts them in two? What world do they live in?"
"A world of their own," Gnegor added, "They’re not used to this much human contact, son, you know that. They’ve been living in caves for years, and we were dumb enough to praise them for it, but let’s forget about the elders, what’s our plan here? I know you’re still a young man, but we call you our Chief for a reason."
Gnegor wanted to motivate his son to come up with a good idea, but his thick voice came out as a little bit demeaning. Jimmy was not a fan, and likewise, he got angry, and overall a lot more distressed than he was aiming to be. Jimmy was a young man who tried to maintain his inner peace, mostly because he was not mentally able to get too angry, even if he tried.
However, with a looming threat of annihilation which was closer to their home than he wished for it to be, under such short notice too, he found himself getting beyond stressed, and when he heard how his parents tried to defend why the elders could not contribute to the tribe’s survival, including their own survival, he was pushed towards a more primal rage!
At first, he stopped talking to his parents, and simply walked away. He walked deeper within the mountainside, towards the dinosaurs, and then squatted down, blanking out as he looked at the rocks in front of him.
He was angry, and for a solid two minutes, he was silent. The developing threats played in his head on repeat, and after the two minute mark, he punched the rocky ground in the blink of an eye, as hard as he could, creating two cracks in his knuckles as a result!
"Shit!" He shouted out, "That sparks!"
Punching rocks hurt as much as one would expect it to, he was in pain, and yet, he refused to heal himself, because he wanted to feel the pain. In a weird way, he wanted the pain to keep him attentive, or specifically, angry towards his own tribe for a change! He was having second guesses about the people he was trying to protect, and wondered if it was even worth his while. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"Damn elders..." He whispered, "At this point, why am I not throwing them off the cliff? They fought one battle in two fucking decades, and they think they’re retired now?"
Jimmy then punched the ground again, as if he was a gorilla who was angry at the ground, as if the ground had stolen his banana. He was angry, and rightfully so, but at this point, his hand was so bloody, and he was sure that one of his fingers were broken, so punching the ground to relieve his stress might not be the best idea!
He refused to heal himself even after such great pain overwhelmed his senses, but thankfully, he avoided punching the ground for the third time. Instead, he grabbed a rock with his healthy, left hand, and tossed it as far as he could! He only managed to toss the rock by a few feet, as no matter how angry he was, his left hand was not the dominant one, and so he couldn’t put a lot of strength behind it.
"Pull yourself together, son," Gnegor walked over, "The tail of the mountain is at least four moons away, five, maybe? We have plenty of time to figure things out."
"No, we don’t," He turned around, and faced his father, "You counted at least four hundred people, right? Well, I counted three hundred of them coming from the forest, and hundreds coming from the edge of the grasslands, so what do you say, will our precious elders be able to help us if they learn that we have to fight over a thousand fucking people? I sure as hell hope they help us, because if not, why would we even let the elders live with us?"
