"Jason, to answer your question about Lucas Graham..." Noah finally replied in a friendly tone as he gazed at Jason, "Well, Lucas Graham is my enemy too..."

"WHAT!? Your enemy? Is he your enemy because he’s your uncle’s father-in-law?" Jason asked, glancing in the rearview mirror.

"No, not that. But because that man is my father’s enemy..."

Noah answered casually, but suddenly Matthew’s panicked voice interjected, echoing in his mind at the same time.

"Noah, is that the person you’ve been searching for all this time?"

He paused when he noticed Edgar and Matthew’s puzzled expressions, and he understood what was causing their confusion.

"What does that mean? What bonding?" Jason couldn’t help but ask, gazing at Noah. "I have no clue what you’re talking about, Noah..."

Noah smiled and decided to test his mental connection with Jason.

Jason’s eyes widened in shock as he stared at Noah.

Noah smiled, amused by how comical Jason’s expression was—his jaw dropped and eyes widened as if his eyeballs were about to pop out.

Jason trusts Noah, but he finds it too unbelievable to accept.
