Blood Titan System-Chapter 5 Amassing Energy Points
Calming his excited nerves, Erian carefully dismantled the syringe, leaving only the barrel and the metallic plunger seal in his hands.
He grabbed a bottle of water and poured a few drops into the serum, making sure the water mix thoroughly with the serum.
Erian took in a deep breath. Ingesting this diluted serum is a massive risk since it wasn't much different from pure radiation in liquid form.
But Erian was willing to risk it all just to test out his theory. If successful, amassing an endless amount of experience points might be plausible but if the experiment fails, added with the existing amount of radiation already in his body, surviving a year would be a miracle.
Erian stopped hesitating. He was about to gulp the entire liquid when he suddenly noticed something has happened to the liquid before him, it seem to have lost its lustre.
"Eh?"
Only to discover the data of the liquid seem to have changed slightly.
[Name: Strengthening Serum]
[Quality: Failed product, low grade]
[Energy: 0]
[Effect: It can increase one's physical strength if taken over a long period of time.]
[Absorbable]
The energy within the serum is already gone. Checking his status, Erian was surprised to see 10 more experience points added to his previous experience points.
[Name: Erian Falstone]
[Level: Three]
[Nuclear Energy: 63/5]
[Strength: 0.9]
[Agility: 1.0]
[Vitality: 0.9]
[Nuclear Pulse Talent: One star(High-grade)<Upgradable>(1000)]
[Main Art: Rudimentary Cell Rejuvenating Technique (Repairable)<1000>]
[Status: Blood haemorrhaging at the back of the head, skin tear.]
"I can do this?"
Erian was surprised. Do I only need to touch the serum and not drink them?
A dazed look flickered through Erian face, multiple thoughts crossing through his mind, "The system can directly absorb atomic energy? Does it mean that I'll have infinite energy and experience points as long as there are enough fluids out there? If I can absorb the energy from serums, can I absorb those from flowers, grass, or even stone?"
Everything including the human body naturally radiates certain amount of Nuclear energy.
Then, Erian focused on his Nuclear Pulse talent, which was only 1-Star . He could guess this was the reason his rate of improvement was very slow, even after diligently practising the Rudimentary Cell Rejuvenating Technique daily, he had only reached level three in three years.
However, from the information obtained from his status, his talent could be upgraded with 1000 experience points. Erian had thought it would take forever to amass such an amount, but with the discovery of his system's function, Erian finally had hope!
Not wasting any more time, his hands flashed as he dismantled several metal-glass syringes megal
Several minutes later, five opened syringes with various glistening coloured fluid within was before Erian, he immediately touched all the serums and his energy increased until it reached 52 points.
Erian's eyes glowed intensely, seeing that it wasn't a dream. his energy had increased by 52. In that second, his hands flashed and several metal-glass syringes were being dismantled in a flash. In about ten minutes, Erian had dismantled about 30 syringes. Out of the thirty Erian only managed to find nine with left over serums in them.
Erian didn't mind, neither did he stop to absorb. Instead, he proceeded to dismantle the entire mountain of used metal-glass syringes.
The process was time-consuming and a dull one at that, but the excitement of having endless amount of experience points kept Erian awake all through the day until he went through the entire mountain like a robot, till there was non left.
It was already evening by the time he finished with the entire mountain of used serum and his entire body was already aching at this point, but Erian was beyond caring about that now.
He inhaled deeply to settle his exhausted mind and the fire rekindled in his heart upon seeing the rows of serum filled syringes before him.
Two-hundred and thirty-one serum-coated syringes lay before his eyes, looking like a pile of gold before him. Rubbing his hands in excitement, Erian immediately start to absorb the energy one by one until he had absorbed the last one.
Hurriedly checking his status, even Erian was stunned by the amount of energy he currently has.
[Name: Erian Falstone]
[Level: Three]
[Nuclear Energy: 2367/5]
[Strength: 0.9]
[Agility: 1.0]
[Vitality: 0.9]
[Nuclear Pulse Talent: One star(High-grade)<Upgradable>(1000)]
[Main Art: Rudimentary Cell Rejuvenating Technique (Repairable)<1000>]
[Status: Blood haemorrhaging at the back of the head, skin tear.]
Erian's body trembled and a peal of manic laughter burst out from his mouth. It wasn't until a while before he was able to calm himself down and started thinking.
He had only just thought about it when all of his energy was being transformed into experience points. As of now, he had a total of 2367 energy points which he could freely use to advance his techniques.
'My Nuclear Pulse talent is the reason my practise yields very little result.' one's Nuclear pulse talent determines the future of an individual. 𝑓𝚛𝚎ℯ𝘸𝙚𝘣𝚗𝘰νeƖ.c𝒐𝐦
For example, Erian with a 1-star nuclear pulse talent practiced diligently for three years but was only able to reach the third level of the Rudimentary Cell Rejuvenating Technique which showed just how bad his talent was. There was gene a possibility that with his low-grade talent, he might not get to awaken his nuclear pulse, therefore unfit to become a Titan.
Mr Ben, on the other hand, was a 2-star High-Quality individual but it wasn't until he had reached the middle-age was he able to complete the stance of the Rudimentary Cell Rejuvenating Technique and was able to finally awaken his nuclear pulse. But by then, it was already too late.
No academy would accept an old individual like him, which was why he chose to live an ordinary life here since there was no hope of him ever becoming a Titan since he would require a suitable Titan's Gnome or a Colossal's core and an Awakening Pod to start the process, all of which are very expensive and exceeded his capability.
With this train of thought, Erian made up his mind. "Upgrade my talent by one stage."
