Elf Era, 1487.

The Sun God Helios intended to ascend to the highest, provoking the wrath of creation, causing the gods to fall, and the Elf Continent shattered under the cataclysmic divine punishment. Among the gods, only the Moon Goddess Artemis and the Ocean God Oceanus survived.

Meanwhile, the residual power left by that terrifying "Wrath of the Cataclysm" formed a chaotic and dreadful magic storm over the West Continent.

According to Oceanus's estimation, this storm would shroud the skies of the shattered West Continent for at least two thousand years.

The gods fell, the Elf Pantheon disintegrated, henceforth... the world no longer had the Moon Goddess Artemis and the Sea God Helios of the Elf Pantheon, but only the Moon God Artemis and the Sea King Oceanus remained.

With the collapse of the Elf Pantheon, the Mireya Old Gods, who once submitted to the Elf Gods, also defected one after another, declaring their separation.

However, the elves' many years of effort on the Mireya Continent were not in vain, as some Old Gods, now loyal to the Elf Clan due to a shift in faith, and newly ascended deities supported by the Elf Clan, still maintained the elves' dominion.

The factions quickly engaged in confrontation on the Mireya Continent, igniting a renewed continental war with escalating intensity.

Furthermore, the magic storm formed by Charlo's devastating strike on the Primordial God caused a significant increase in the magic concentration in the Mireya World. The re-slumbering of the Primordial also loosened the power of the laws, making the legendary beings of Mireya feel that the gate to the Divine Throne seemed to have loosened slightly.

Simultaneously, on the shattered West Continent.

The Moon God Artemis gathered the remnants of the elven forces, leading the willing survivors away from the destroyed West Continent, embarking on a journey to the Eastern Continent.

Thus began what was historically known as the "Elf East Crossing," the grand migration of the elves.

This grand migration lasted for about ten years.

Within these ten years, surviving elves continually responded to the call of the Moon Goddess, leaving their homes for a new land.

As for those elves still unwilling to leave, the Moon God Artemis placed them on the islands formed after the West Continent shattered and erected statues to protect them from potential Primordial pollution and divine power residues.

However, shortly after the Moon Goddess led most elves to the Eastern Continent, those who chose to stay toppled the Moon God's statues and erected new Primordial statues.

In response, having reached Mireya, Artemis merely cast a deep glance to the west and did not look back.

In the following decades, the warfare on the Mireya Continent grew ever more intense.

With no suppression from the Elf Gods, the balance of power on the continent shifted significantly, and the defecting Old Gods advanced triumphantly, driving the elf forces into retreat.

If not for the prohibitions left by the Elf Gods still offering some resistance to divine power, the elves might have been driven into the sea long ago.

But this situation changed upon Artemis's landing...

As one of the most powerful True Gods in the world, the Moon God was already the top-tier combat power capable of facing many alone in the Mireya plane.

Moreover, although the Elf Gods had fallen, their divine artifacts remained, all collected by Artemis.

After the catastrophe, the magic in the air was unprecedentedly rich and active, and even mortals could wield partial power of the divine artifacts under certain conditions. After Artemis distributed these artifacts to the Legendary figures, soon... the first deity slain by mortals emerged.

The anomaly of a fallen myth shrouded a small part of the continent, and the achievement of godslaying by mortals inspired the elves immensely.

Soon, the balance tilted by the fall of the Elf Gods swung back to equilibrium, and with the protection of the Moon God and the power of the divine artifacts, the Elf Clan gained the capability to resist the Mireya Old Gods.

In the northwest of the Mireya Continent, Artemis transported earth and stones, condensed magic, and established a vast island, placing elves lacking in strength upon it.

This island would serve as the elves' safe haven and bridgehead in Mireya for thousands of years to come, avoiding the wars on the mainland and protecting the ungrown elves.

Simultaneously, the elves named this island personally established by the Moon God as Moon God Island.

However, with the destruction of the West Continent and the decline of the Elf Pantheon, the glorious era belonging to the elves had ultimately ended.

The confrontation with the Primordial was finally marked with hatred by the Primordial. Although they still possessed high magic talents due to their bloodline connection to Charlotte, the detachment brought by the Primordial's disdain rendered it difficult for the elven legends to reach the mythical rank again.

The Primordial is ultimately the starting point of the transcendent.

Only if Charlotte sacrifices all of her power like the Primordial, or completely overcomes the Primordial to officially become the sole ruler of the world, will the power of laws potentially favor them again.

But at least for now, with the magic of the Mireya World still extending from the Primordial Power, and their birth inherently part of the transcendent, the gates to divine enthronement... could be said to be nearly closed to the elves.

Yet for the other intelligent species of this world, the rise in magic concentration, the activity of law power, and the narrowing gap between mortals and gods due to the presence of divine artifacts made godslaying no longer a legend, and divine enthronement no longer a delusion.

So, the era where new gods rose, known in later generations as the Mythological Era... began.

Artemis stood in the air.

She gazed down on the magnificent vistas of the Mireya Continent, a hint of complexity in her silver eyes.

Glimmers of light sparkled in her hands; it was the Divine Soul Origin of the Elf Gods, timely retrieved by Charlotte.

But Artemis did not scatter these Divine Soul Origins to allow them to reincarnate.

The elves' mythical powers had already been devoured by the Primordial. Although the Divine Soul Origins were preserved, they were ultimately marked by the Primordial.

Even if they were smoothly reincarnated and returned successfully, there was no assurance they wouldn't be targeted by Primordial Power again, facing further erosion and pollution.

Unless...

Artemis's expression became solemn as she looked at the other hand.

In that hand, crimson light flickered, revealing an illusory book that seemed to exist and not exist.

This was precisely the Blood Holy Scripture handed to her by Charlotte.

"Not yet..."

Artemis murmured.

She put away the gods' origins and the illusory book, then her form dissipated, returning to the divine hall she had constructed on Moon God Island.

After leading the elves on the East Crossing and personally establishing a large island with prohibitions that could resist even myths momentarily, even she was considerably exhausted and needed to rest.

Returning to the divine hall, she sat on her Divine Throne, then closed her eyes, absorbing faith and magic to restore her divine power while quietly awaiting the right moment.
