Bleach: The Strongest Shinigami-Chapter 308 ⥤ Akira’s Evil Deeds
Chapter 308 - 308 ⥤ Akira's Evil Deeds
Three hours to speedrun through the Wandenreich. Akira added another glorious achievement to his accomplishment book and contentedly tucked it away in his pocket.
When Haschwalth woke up, he received devastating news: The Emperor of the Quincy, Yhwach, had passed away. As Reiatsu expanded, his presence had vanished from the Shadow Area.
But strangely, Haschwalth showed no grief. Instead, he remained indifferent, as if the deceased meant nothing to him.
The other Quincy reacted similarly — when it came to the death of the tyrant Yhwach, some could barely suppress their delighted grins. The die-hard loyalists had already been reduced to ashes in the earlier purge.
Though Akira rarely managed the Wandenreich, he had one advantage: his photographic memory.
During his time with the Quincy, he had carefully noted who could be turned and who needed elimination. When he took action, everything went smoothly. After it was done, only peace-loving Quincy who valued martial honor remained in the empire.
In the Great Cathedral.
Akira stood on the high platform, looking down at the defeated forces below. A smile played on his lips, his invincible gaze commanding all directions.
"I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't killed you all. In your eyes, Shinigami and Quincy are natural enemies, like fire and water. But I'm different! I came to the Wandenreich to do three things: fairness, fairness, and damn fairness!"
Hearing this, the Quincy showed strange expressions — this new Shinigami king seemed quite different from what they had imagined.
Haschwalth's gaze was complex. Looking at the wild figure on the platform, a thought struck him — perhaps serving under someone like this wouldn't be so bad. At least this one wouldn't arbitrarily slaughter his own subjects.
Watching the silent Quincy below, Akira grinned, satisfied with their reaction. Now came the moment for appointments.
"Jugo."
"Hm?" Haschwalth looked up, confusion flashing in his eyes.
"From today on, you'll be the empire's deputy emperor, managing all affairs large and small when I'm not here. Below me, you're the highest authority!"
Haschwalth: "?"
Akira's voice echoed throughout the Great Cathedral, causing countless people to show shocked expressions. They all looked toward the figure standing at the front of the ranks.
Lord Haschwalth, so it was you who betrayed His Majesty Yhwach?!
Thinking of his contributions and dedication to the Wandenreich, the Quincy became less resistant, even starting to accept this setup comfortably.
Only Bazz-B in the crowd remained bewildered.
Haschwalth backstabbed Yhwach?! Could it be that he never forgot our promise and bond?
For a moment, his gaze toward his old friend's back filled with melancholy.
"Jugo, you..."
After the assembly ended and the Quincy dispersed, Akira put his arm around Haschwalth's shoulders and pulled him aside. He explained crucial matters Haschwalth needed to understand—the origins of the three of them, the true nature of the world, and Yhwach's ultimate goal.
"Jugo, the tide has turned — this is destiny. You're a smart man, you should understand my meaning, right?"
Haschwalth took a deep look at this young man who had his arm around his shoulders, his face full of complex emotions. He couldn't decide whether he hated or appreciated this guy.
But regardless, Akira had changed the Quincy's fate, giving everything a chance to start anew.
After pondering for a moment, he nodded and said solemnly, "I understand..."

Leaving the Wandenreich, Akira led his two adopted sons, along with his useful tools Urahara and Kurotsuchi, and ascended to the Soul King Palace.
Based on existing materials and knowledge from another world, they had developed new plans for the Soul King. They needed only time and materials — all of which could be obtained in the Soul King Palace.
Akira recalled that Senjumaru had established a research laboratory in her Zero Division residence, storing various rare materials and research equipment. They could complete the development of the Sangai Wedge right there.
Although the monk and others were surprised by their arrival, they didn't try to stop them. The Soul King had already issued the necessary orders when Akira first appeared in this world.
Originally, Akira had planned to catch up with these "colleagues", but seeing their vigilant and tense expressions, he immediately abandoned the idea.
These people weren't the Zero Division he knew — they weren't familiar with each other. In the monk's eyes and those of the others, he was likely an extremely dangerous and cruel invader.
Thinking this, Akira shook his head and headed straight from the Omotesandō to the Greater Palace above. Aizen followed closely behind.
Meanwhile, Parallel Aizen and Urahara's group lingered behind, curiously observing the scenes in the Soul King Palace.
Until now, they had only seen records of this place in books and secret intelligence — this was their first time seeing it in person. The difference was quite significant.

The Inner Court.
The familiar scene, familiar human experiments, and all-too-familiar decorations.
The Soul King's voice echoed in the empty room, "You've finally come, savior from another world."
Akira raised an eyebrow — it seemed no explanation was needed, as this world's Soul King already knew everything.
"I've brought you a successor, and you can rest in peace now. I'll solve the Hell problem, and the world's cycle will continue endlessly forward."
Hearing this, a gratified smile appeared on the Soul King's face.
Then, under Parallel Aizen's stunned gaze, Akira formed a spiritual blade and thrust it through the crystal, killing the Soul King who maintained the Sangai's order.
Next came Urahara and Kurotsuchi's moment to shine. They immediately brought out containers to collect the black Reiatsu flowing from the dead Soul King. With Aizen's assistance, they began creating the second Hōgyoku.
Having previous experience, this process was swift.
Finally, they placed a substitute Hōgyoku — containing the powers of Shinigami, Quincy, Hollows, and Yhwach — into the crystal. The moment it was embedded, the collapsing Reishi around them stabilized, and the order of the Sangai returned to normal.
To the side, Aizen and Parallel Aizen were conversing.
"This is the truth and essence of the world. The Soul King, the being you wished to replace, maintains the stability of the Sangai, and even while sealed, was searching for a solution to the Hell problem. They are not the mediocre existence you perceived them to be."
Parallel Aizen's gaze was complex.
This journey had shocked him more than when Akira first appeared, making his scalp tingle. His narrow understanding had led him to incorrect intelligence.
He no longer believed that if he became the Soul King, he would do better than the current one.
"Do you think this outcome is the best?"
Hearing this, Aizen paused momentarily, then his lips curved into a smile, "The right or wrong of outcomes cannot be verified. What we can do is stand at the nodes of time and continuously make corrections."
Parallel Aizen nodded slightly, not pursuing the discussion further. He understood it was a question without a definitive answer.
"When everything is over, may I visit your world?"
Aizen looked deeply at him, at a face identical to his own, and slowly said, "It would be my honor."

"Sometimes I want to cut open your heads and see what's inside!"
In the dimly lit underground chamber, Yamamoto gripped his cane with both hands and berated those above, his face darkening with anger.
"Genryūsai Yamamoto, mind your attitude! This is the Central 46 Chamber, not the First Division! Don't forget — we are the symbols of Soul Society's highest judicial authority. You're merely a blade in our hands!"
The timidity they had shown before Aizen had vanished completely, replaced by their innate arrogance and superiority.
"Those two Shinigami from another world brazenly helped the criminal Sōsuke Aizen escape and showed us disrespect. Forget minor punishment — even imprisoning them in the deepest Hell would only be—"
Before they could finish, a terrifying Reiatsu descended upon the Underground Chamber like an overwhelming tide.
The suffocating pressure spread evenly among all forty-six members, their faces contorting with terror and despair. Under such intense force, these stubborn old fossils couldn't even speak.
"The only lesson humans can learn from the past is that humans never learn from the past." Aizen calmly observed their distorted faces, shaking his head in disappointment.
He had overestimated these noble-selected spokespeople, whose minds were filled only with self-interest and their supposedly inviolable dignity.
"Captain-Commander Yamamoto, as leader of the Gotei 13, you should be stopping me right now." Aizen turned away from the group, looking instead at the silent old man.
Yamamoto sighed, thoroughly disappointed with the Central 46 after their earlier conversation.
Just as he was about to explain, a figure suddenly appeared, wearing a sinister smile that looked particularly horrifying in the chamber's dim light.
"Yama-jii, trying to stop my grand plan? Your little tricks won't be enough!" With that, Akira drew his sword and slashed at the old man without warning.
Yamamoto instinctively released Ryūjin Jakka's seal and raised his sword to counter. Brilliant sparks erupted from the clashing blades, radiating waves of heat in all directions.
The powerful impact sent him flying out of the chamber, breaking a large hole in the Kidō barrier. Scorching red clouds spread across the courtyard sky as nearby Shinigami felt the suffocating Reiatsu.
Two figures clashed violently in the air, their explosions shaking heaven and earth. Intense flames swept skyward, destroying nearby buildings while the ground shattered beneath them, leaving only devastation in their wake.
"Now you can do what you want." Aizen said to his parallel self, a smile playing across his lips.
Parallel Aizen nodded and stepped forward. In an instant, the chamber turned upside down as violent Reiatsu raged forth, consuming all forty-six members. When the chaos settled, no trace remained of their existence.
Yamamoto gazed at Akira with mixed emotions.
As Reiatsu had erupted in the chamber, he'd understood the young man's intent — Akira would play the villain while he, as Captain-Commander, would remain the protector of Seireitei and Soul Society.
What a good kid...
"Old man, you dare to be distracted while fighting me?" Akira's eyes blazed as he launched a powerful attack, unleashing an iaido strike.
The overwhelming force sent the caught-off-guard Yamamoto flying. White surges rippled through the sky as he crashed through the tower, bringing several buildings down with him.
"You damned brat, this isn't over!"

Yamamoto erupted with power, his scorching Reiatsu turning Soul Society's air dry.
Both warriors shed their outer garments and began the second phase of their battle.
Shunsui watched the distant figures, shaking his head at the old man's surprising vigor. At this rate, he might wait thousands of years before inheriting the position of Captain-Commander.
The good life of slacking off was just beginning!

The death of Central 46 barely caused a ripple in Soul Society.
In truth, the Shinigami had long despised these corrupt officials who held their positions without merit. Only Yamamoto's conservative presence had prevented outright rebellion.
Now that these deserving deaths had occurred, they refrained from celebrating with fireworks only out of respect for the Captain-Commander. Otherwise, universal celebration would have already begun.
Still, some worried about Soul Society's future.
Central 46's demise would inevitably disrupt order and regulations, potentially causing unnecessary complications.
Fortunately, Yamamoto swiftly ordered the 1st Division to assume Central 46's duties and begin strictly selecting new members according to Soul Society's regulations. The completion timeline would depend on the 1st Division's efficiency.
Meanwhile, under Aizen's guidance, the old man promulgated a series of new regulations and swiftly implemented them throughout Soul Society.
With time, it became clear that Soul Society had grown more stable without Central 46. Crime rates fell, and the souls in Rukongai enjoyed peaceful lives, attributing their prosperity to Yamamoto's leadership.
Just then, the Fourth Great Clan — those responsible for monitoring Hell's anomalies — received two unwelcome visitors.
Akira positioned himself in the courtyard's center, raising his hand commandingly.
"Everyone, attention! I have an announcement!"
