Black Online-Chapter 149: Don’t Touch Her
It was a rare warm morning on the 15th floor. The temperature had risen significantly compared to the previous days.
Thus, all the locals were walking outside with smiles on their faces.
After the Guild War ended, some of the locals still tried some of the work offered by Rose Records.
And they were only going to try them out before deciding whether they were going to keep working for them.
With the destruction of Monsieur Rascals and Grinding Grief, the two villages—Hollyhatch Village and Tinselbrook Village—were left vacant.
Rose Records was also planting their flag there, making them part of their territory, but it was in an early phase still.
It was official—and every guild knew—that Rose Records was now the sole ruler of this floor.
They weren’t going to allow anyone else to come here, or they better be prepared for a bloody war.
While the 15th floor had a treasure—the Quarries of the Winter Ore—it was still not tempting enough for some guilds to move here.
It was a dangerous floor with the cold.
And there were floors with even better things than the Quarry of the Winter Ore and also better monsters to fight against.
"...Have you heard about Rose Records’ new Global Guild Ranking?"
At the yard of the Rose Records mansion, Niall asked his close friend, Sam.
They were waiting for today’s training to begin. Everyone else from Fourth Line was also already gathered outside.
Everyone except their team leader—Fang Raon.
However, they already knew that he was logging out later than the rest of them.
"No, has it finally updated?"
Sam asked curiously.
"Yeah, I checked their website this morning. Rose Records is now ranked 55th. I guess defeating two guilds in the top 100 gives you a nice boost, hehe!"
Niall said with a grin.
It had been a while since Rose Records’ ranking had increased, and it had instead dropped a couple of spots during the last year.
"That’s sick. We’re still quite far from the top, though. Maybe one day we will break that magical top 30 guild barrier."
Sam said.
At that moment, they heard footsteps and looked over to see Fang Raon walking over to them—he was dressed very warmly in a heavy winter coat.
It was too warm to wear something like that, but he didn’t have anything else, except some very light clothing.
However, that light clothing was good for beach weather and not for this place, where there were still occasional cold winds.
"Everyone, gather up."
Fang Raon said.
Everyone stopped talking and gathered before him. They stayed quiet respectfully.
Some of them also looked at Fang Raon with a new gaze.
They couldn’t see him the same way after what happened in the Guild War and after that anymore.
Not only did he save Della from death, but he also killed Rickard, who was a member of their First Line.
And then, some of them had also found out about Fang Raon’s video and saw that it was blowing up in popularity quite nicely.
They were certain that Fang Raon would find himself in the First Line in no time at all.
"I’ll post my phone number in our party chat. I want all of you to add me in Konnect. It’s good to have a way to contact each other in real life as well.
"I am certain that we will start doing raids soon, so when we are not logged inside the game, maybe we can still discuss some plans or strategies through Konnect."
Fang Raon said and typed his number in the chat window, and then pressed "Send," and everyone saw his phone number pop up in the chat.
"Yes, team leader!"
They all said.
All of them already had each other’s phone number. Even Machary had shared his with them. It was weird for them to not have their team leader’s number.
They were nervous to ask.
"EVERYONE!"
A shout came, almost like it came from the depths of hell, and everyone instinctively flinched into attention.
They saw Rock walking out of the mansion. An ugly expression plastered on his face. And then his gaze landed on Fang Raon.
"We’re going to train today..."
He walked past everybody else and stopped in front of Fang Raon—looking straight down at him with a menacing glare in his eyes.
"A-About last time..."
Fang Raon nervously stuttered.
"We’re going to have some fun today, Fang Raon. Proper fun, I’d say. I hope you won’t die, but if you do, I am fine with that too."
Rock smiled.
In other words, he was basically saying, "I am going to torture you today, so try not to die!"
In that moment, when Fang Raon’s face turned pale, someone ran out of the mansion—her long hair fluttering behind her.
"Are you ready to go?"
Della ran over with a smile on her face and stopped beside her grandfather—she then noticed the strange tension between the two of them.
"Guild master!"
The Fourth-Liners greeted her—quite surprised by her sudden appearance—and noticed that she was dressed very nicely.
She wasn’t in her armor, which she wore during the Guild War, and instead was wearing a beautiful dress coat.
"Yes..."
Fang Raon wryly smiled.
"What? You two are going somewhere? Absolutely not. Della, you’re not going anywhere with this hornball piece of shit!"
Rock shouted.
"Grandfather, I need him for today. He can skip one day of training. And that’s the guild master’s orders."
Della winked, then took Fang Raon’s arm and started dragging him away while Rock’s face turned beet red.
"Fang Raon..."
Rock moved his finger across his throat in a slicing motion. It was something that Fang Raon noticed him do.
It was as if Rock was saying, "If you touch my granddaughter, I will actually kill you," and Fang Raon understood the seriousness of the threat.
He then turned around to face the Fourth-Liners and shouted, "Start running!" and he was sounding really pissed.
Unfortunately for them.
They were going to be the ones suffering from Rock’s wrath for today.
