"Ugh..."

Fang Raon pushed his door open, but it was fighting back, resisting his efforts to open it all the way.

’I really need to fix this shitty door.’

He thought with a frown.

However, he also didn’t plan on staying on these lower floors much longer, so he was just planning to deal with it for now.

After entering his apartment, he slammed the door shut and looked at the quite shabby interior.

With old furniture and ugly walls, floors, and ceilings, he sighed in frustration.

There was only one nice-looking item inside the place, and it was the Virtual Reality Pod that looked very high-tech.

’I can still smell her scent here.’

Fang Raon thought.

He scratched the back of his head and then walked over to the Virtual Reality Pod, and traced his hand over its smooth surface.

’While I feel now quite alone since I am not in the Caretaker Facility anymore, I can now live my life on my own hours.

’I don’t have to wake up at a specific time and go to sleep whenever I want. I can start properly grinding Black Online.’

He pulled out his phone from his pocket, checked the time, and sat down on the bed.

’If I go online now, what would I even do? Training? Mmh, nah, I’ll just go online tomorrow morning.

’I’ll just think about what to do with regard to streaming and making videos.’

Fang Raon then went to his desk, turned on his computer, and saw it turn on very slowly—the computer was humming loudly.

It was an old PC, and its specs were quite shitty, but it was better than nothing.

’What kind of videos do people really make?’

Fang Raon leaned against his arm, and with his other hand, he moved the mouse and clicked on the "Lagless" website.

Lagless—it was the world’s biggest video-making platform, and while there were a couple other websites like that, Lagless was easily the biggest one.

And then there was DeadPixel, which was easily the biggest streaming platform, and there really wasn’t a close second.

"There are plenty of real-life videos, but I am more interested in Black Online videos... Let’s check them out..."

Fang Raon scratched the back of his neck, then typed "Black Online" on the search bar and saw videos pop up.

Trillions of videos.

There were videos with hundreds of millions of views.

’Hmm, every video has a catchy thumbnail and an interesting title. There are a lot of tutorial videos for newbies and ’What To Do’ videos for every floor.

’I am quite curious whether I missed something...’

Out of curiosity, Fang Raon clicked on the "What To Do On The 1st Floor" video.

He leaned back on the chair, put on his headphones, and started listening.

The video started with showing some drone camera views of the entire 1st floor, and then, a voice came.

"Hello and welcome to what to do on the 1st floor. It is the first one of a series of videos that I will make to help you advance quicker in this game!

"In the previous video, What To Do On The Zero Floor, I already told y’all to choose your starter class wisely.

"In my opinion, the Warrior class is the best for starters, as it’s good enough against all the weak starter monsters and doesn’t have a weakness!

"I know some players have said that the Mage will be best because of its powerful Fireball skill, but nah, if you get surrounded by monsters, and your mana runs out, you’re as good as dead!"

The voice of the video shouted.

’I guess that makes sense. Informational video... This is what people like? I thought they would be more into action-packed videos.

’But I guess nobody wants to die, so they watch these videos to learn how to survive, and I guess this person is also a strong person in the tower, so newbies are more inclined to listen to him.’

Fang Raon thought to himself.

"Now, for the starters, what you should do on the 1st floor is to head straight to the Adventurer’s Guild and get some Angry Rat killing missions!

"Angry Rats occupy the sewer system below the 1st City, so when you’ve gotten the mission, head to the sewers.

"Angry Rats are easy to kill, and they’re actually the monster that gives the highest percentage after killing them on the entire floor!

"Completing those Angry Rats missions also gives a nice amount of square coins, and after, like, a week of grinding those missions, you’ll have plenty of money to upgrade your gear.

"However, if you plan to do that solo, don’t venture too far into the sewers. Angry Rats like darker places, and the further into the sewers you go, the darker it will be, and thus, more rats!

"You’ve been warned!"

Fang Raon just listened silently, and he found something new, but in the end, he did pretty much the same things as the video said to do.

’Dewrey told us not to go too far into the sewers, so we didn’t. Could it be that he watched this video before playing?’

He wondered with a chuckle.

He also started wondering how Dewrey, Tessa, and Rosabella were doing. They happened to die very early, after all.

They might’ve started playing again and are currently back at climbing straight from the bottom floors.

For the rest of the video, the person talked about the boss and how to defeat it, but Fang Raon had heard enough and clicked off the video.

’All of the information in the video was stuff that is easy to find out. There was no secret information that would blow everyone’s mind.’

He thought.

It was an alright video, he thought, and quite interesting.

’All of these What To Do videos have millions of views, but it looks like his latest video is of the 13th floor, and it’s been 6 months since he has made a video.

’I wonder why that is.’

Fang Raon wondered.

He would’ve liked to see what he had to say about the 15th floor, and maybe he could find out something new.
