[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 355: On the way
"No," Lenny said as it took its cat form and came to sit on Eden’s lap.
Eden had instructed Lenny to go back to the Academy with Marcus on the night of the festival. He knew that after what he had done, things wouldn’t easily go back to normal.
He couldn’t continue his search, so he asked Lenny to head back and use the opportunity to track down any clue or anyone who could potentially be the author of the story he was in.
"I couldn’t find any clues at all. Even the letter... nothing..." Lenny explained. "I tried looking into the nerdy guy again but found nothing. At this point, I don’t even know if the person is in the academy at all..."
Eden sighed as he stroked Lenny’s fur. "That’s odd. It’s said they’re in that academy... Then why can’t we even find a clue? I thought it’d be easy..."
"Well, I guess it’s not as easy as we thought."
Eden sighed. "And we’re already in this mess. So I doubt I’ll even have time to go back to the academy to search..."
"So what does that mean? You can’t find him?" Helen, who had been paying attention, asked. "What are you going to do about it?"
He shrugged. "I don’t know... I suppose we’ll have to leave it up to fate at this point."
Helen sighed. "Have you tried using your powers to track down the person? Maybe they could show you something."
Eden sighed. "It’s useless. It’s as though fate doesn’t want me to cheat, so my powers aren’t yielding any clues. I guess I have to physically find them..." he explained.
Helen sighed. "Don’t worry. We’ll figure out something. We will..." she assured him positively. They both nodded.
Just then, Helen stared at the cat with a smile. "So, you’ve been left alone for a while with your lover. How are things going between the two of you?" she smiled.
Eden, too, stared down at the cat with a smile. "Yeah, that’s true. The two new lovebirds. So? Did you two make any progress? Did you sleep together or something?"
"Hey!" Lenny snapped, glaring up at them. "Why would I do that? I don’t like him."
Helen smiled.
"Maybe you’ll fall for him. Besides, it’s obvious that he likes you, isn’t it?" Eden raised an eyebrow.
"I don’t care about that. I don’t have time for him," Lenny insisted.
Helen and Eden stared at each other with a smile. "Is that so?" Eden smiled. "Okay then. I suppose we’ll leave it to fate. It certainly wants the two of you together."
"Whatever. I don’t believe in that."
Helen smiled. "Sure. You don’t."

The journey was long, and by evening they were still making their way through the woods, heading to the place Leo had arranged for them.
On their way through the woods in their carriages, the horses suddenly came to an abrupt stop, and a sound was heard up ahead.
One of the men ahead had signaled them about something. They all climbed down, going to the front to see what it was all about.
"What happened?" Eden asked Adrian as they made their way forward.
Adrian shrugged. "I don’t know. But I think they saw something..." He pulled out his sword, ready for action.
They soon reached the front, their fire sticks out and their weapons ready to strike the figure blocking the road.
Eden made his way to the front as he stared at the figure.
"It’s a human..." he stated the obvious. Someone was lying in the middle of the road, clearly unconscious.
Eden stared at the body for a while before he started making his way toward it.
"Be careful..." Adrian tried to stop him. "It could be dangerous."
Eden smiled. "Don’t worry. I’ll be fine."
They were all alert as they watched Eden move ahead. Eden stood before the body as he took out his stick. He poked the body with it, and then he heard a soft groan.
The people behind him held out their swords, alert. Eden casually stood there, staring down at the body. He poked it again, and another groan came. Then Eden casually said, "It’s the Imperial Princess."
"Huh?" They were all confused, staring at Eden.
Eden turned to them. "Come and pick her up. It’s the Imperial Princess."
The guards came forward and helped her up. She was halfway conscious, muttering inaudible words as they supported her.
"That’s the Emperor’s daughter... are you sure we should bring her with us?" Adrian asked.
"It could be risky..." Leo agreed.
Eden stared at the Imperial Princess Cordelia. He thought about their words and their implications, and he understood their concern.
But on the other hand, he looked at the pathetic appearance of the princess. The princess who had openly gone against him and tried to take him down to win Elvis’s heart.
His love rival.
He didn’t think he could leave her here. He couldn’t leave a helpless-looking lady here, not knowing what had happened to her.
"Let’s take her along," Eden said, staring at Leo. "Please."
Adrian stared at him. "Are you sure about that?"
Eden nodded.
Leo hesitated, taking a breath in and out before he slowly nodded. "Are you sure about this?"
Eden nodded. "Yes." He stared at the unconscious young lady. "She doesn’t look like she’s in the best condition. I don’t feel at ease leaving her here just for our own safety. What if something happens to her while we leave? What if she doesn’t pose any risk to us?"
He added, "So I think we should at least prioritize her safety too. Let’s take her back and take care of her first. Then we can ask her what happened later on."
Leo nodded. "Okay." He turned to his guards. "Take her into a carriage. We’re leaving with her."
"Yes," the guards nodded as they took Cordelia into one of the carriages. And so they continued their journey with her.
