[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 275: It belongs to me
"Yes."
The Royal Scholar did not protest. He had done as Queen Elizabeth demanded, taking the paper and pen to proceed with the work. He had stayed beside King Edward for years, just as he had been planted by Queen Elizabeth. So he knew the King’s handwriting extremely well.
And so he wrote down the late King’s handwriting without missing a thing. Soon, he was done forging the King’s last words.
When he was finished, he handed the document to Queen Elizabeth with a bow. She accepted it and scanned the contents. Queen Elizabeth smiled.
"Thanks for your hard work all this while. You will be rewarded when the time comes," she said.
"Thank you," he replied with another bow.
Queen Elizabeth stared through the paper in her hands, smiling. She felt proud as she declared, "Mission complete." She stared down at the body of the late King. "At the end of the day, your precious kingdom ended up in the hands of a woman. You must be bitter in the underworld now."
As she spoke, she turned and folded the paper scroll, holding it firmly. She was done with all she had to do for the day, so she made her way out of the room.
Outside, Queen Elizabeth met the guards stationed there. As soon as they saw her, they all bowed in greeting.
Queen Elizabeth stared at them and then said, "Make sure you keep an eye on the King’s body. Do not let anyone stroll in as they wish."
"Yes!" they chorused.
She continued, "Go in soon and clean up the mess. And also begin making arrangements for his body to be buried. I guess that’s the last bit of courtesy he should get."
They bowed once more in respect.
Queen Elizabeth stared at the scroll in her hand for a while. She said, "Remember to sound the bells soon to inform the world of the news. We should not hold it back at all. We should let the world know, too."
"Yes. We will."
As she stared down the hallway, she thought of someone. "I think it’s time to pay someone a visit," she smiled, looking up.

Queen Lea was pacing back and forth in her room.
She was panicking, muttering endless words. Her maids only stood by, listening in fear. None of them knew what to expect.
"What if the King dies?" Queen Lea said. "That would be really bad for me. If he dies then I’ll be in trouble... How then am I supposed to survive here alone without his protection?"
She paced back and forth as her maids tried to calm her down. "Don’t worry, My Queen, none of that will happen. The King will survive. He is heavily blessed by the heavens and has the best physicians on his side. He surely will make it."
But Queen Lea still panicked as she recalled Queen Elizabeth. "That monster... what if she... What if she comes for me? If the King dies... I’m sure she will. The way she stabbed him.. she is a monster..."
She was muttering to herself like a madwoman, walking around while biting her fingers in thought as though she had lost it.
"Don’t worry, none of that will happen. Queen Elizabeth can’t do anything to you! She can’t lay a finger on you at all," one maid explained.
"Yeah. Exactly. She is currently in jail suffering for what she did. She’ll soon be beaten to death, so don’t worry about anything, My Queen."
As soon as the maids were done comforting Queen Lea, they heard a voice from outside.
"Is that so?"
Everyone stiffened and turned to the door. It was pushed open by some guards, and Queen Elizabeth majestically walked in, accompanied by royal guards.
As soon as Queen Lea and her maids saw her, fear ran through their entire bodies, and they grew speechless.
"You... what.....what are you doing here?" Queen Lea questioned. "Aren’t you in jail... why..why do you look okay?"
Queen Elizabeth smiled as she stared at her and her maids. "Are you sure there’s nothing I can do? Really?"
"....." They were all speechless.
Queen Elizabeth scoffed. "I came to pay you a visit first. You should feel honored."
Queen Lea staggered backward, glaring at her. "Stay away from me. I’m not scared of you at all. You can’t do anything to me. The King will have your head if you dare.. so stay away right now..." she threatened.
But Queen Elizabeth casually laughed. "Is that so? Then you must be very outdated with the current news."
Queen Lea paused, staring at her with confusion. "What do you mean by that...?" she demanded.
But Queen Elizabeth simply smiled. And then the bell went off.
The bells of the Royal Palace rang. Loud and repeatedly, ringing throughout the kingdom for all to hear.
It was not just a mere bell, but a significant announcement being passed down to the whole kingdom. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
The King of Valencrest, King Edward, was dead.
As soon as Queen Lea heard that bell, she fell to her feet with a sharp gasp. She felt something within her shatter as she stared at Queen Elizabeth.
"No... no... no.. no.. no..." she could only mutter, still in disbelief.
But Queen Elizabeth smiled as she walked up to her. She stared down at the woman kneeling in disbelief and said, "What? Can’t accept it?"
Queen Lea was speechless. She could only stare.
"Well, you had better accept reality. The faster you do, the better it will be for you," she expressed. "Because only then will you be able to pay your respects to your new ruler properly."
Queen Lea still stared at her, managing to say, "You... what... What do you mean by that...?"
"Oh," Queen Elizabeth raised an eyebrow. "You didn’t know? I guess you didn’t pick that up. But I am the new ruler of the kingdom. Your dear husband passed the Kingdom down to me before his death, and now it all belongs to me," she smiled.
