Gara stopped in his tracks.

The status panel floating before him displayed way too much information. Most of it new, complicated, and hard to process.

’Manor’s and Mansion’s walls? Two walls? Why? There’s a spring... and a farm? Is this place inside a forest or something? And what does ’Territory size’ even mean?"

While his head spun trying to make sense of it all, Wina had already opened the next door.

Behind it was indeed the dining room, though calling it that felt like an understatement. The space was enormous, far larger than any normal family dining room.

It looked more like a banquet hall.

There wasn’t a long luxurious table or gilded chairs, yet the grandeur radiated clearly through the tall, stained-glass windows that painted the floor in warm colors.

Della stood frozen, her eyes sparkling in awe at the vibrant glass. Wina chuckled softly. She was just as captivated, but they still had more rooms to inspect.

When she turned back, she noticed Gara standing motionless.

She assumed he was stunned by the hall’s beauty. But the truth was, his mind was still reeling from the confusing data on the status panel.

After his mother called out to him, Gara blinked and snapped out of his daze, quickly moving on to check the kitchen.

The kitchen, too, had expanded in size. Its interior resembled a modern home kitchen, minus the modern appliances.

A small side door led to the backyard well.

"With a house this big, there’s only one well?" Gara muttered. "Maybe because there’s a pond and a spring... or maybe the house expects me to build a pump to supply water directly to each bathroom."

"What’s a pump, Gara?" Wina asked curiously.

Gara eagerly explained it to her in detail.

Della, who had finished admiring the stained glass, joined them and listened. But her face went blank halfway through the explanation. Wina, on the other hand, nodded along in understanding.

"Some plant branches have a similar ability," Wina said thoughtfully. "Druids use them. But those trees only grow in druid forests."

Gara nodded, realizing once again why this world’s technology was so far behind. Because there were substitutes. The only problem was, those substitutes weren’t easy to find or use.

’Instead of exploring technology,’ Gara thought, ’people here rely on nature, Traits, Bloodlines, and Talents to solve everything. And if something can’t be solved that way, they just accept it as rare or exclusive to a certain race.’

It wasn’t exactly a progressive mindset.

Still, Gara was grateful there were a few people left who tried to develop alchemy and technology, even if they weren’t many.

The kitchen had another door. This one leading to a staircase that went down.

"A basement?" Wina asked, already guessing what it was.

Gara nodded. "Yeah. Besides the extra two floors, the house also came with a basement, Mom."

Wina could only sigh in amazement.

Before Gara could take a step down, she blocked his path.

"Not now," she said firmly. "Don’t go down there while we’re still holding the triplets. Who knows what’s below."

Honestly, Gara was confident there was nothing dangerous down there but he didn’t feel like arguing.

He just nodded and followed her lead, continuing to explore the rest of the house.

The basement could wait until the men outside finished their harvesting.

Back in the front room, they checked a small door near the dining hall entrance. It led to a bathroom.

On the left side of the hall, there were only two doors. No sign of a storage room anywhere.

’Maybe the basement is actually the storage area,’ Gara guessed.

On the right side, there were three doors up at the front. Two of them led to rooms filled with Ares and Della’s belongings. Their sizes hadn’t changed.

It seemed those rooms were meant for guests or perhaps for the house’s maids.

"The front room looks so empty now," Wina commented, glancing around the unfurnished space.

"Back then, we didn’t add any furniture here because we never planned to have guests, and this area connects directly to the lounge that already has sofas and everything. Do you plan to add furniture now, Gara?"

"I think I will, Mom," Gara replied with a small nod.

Speaking of the lounge, across from the dining hall’s door stood another door made from the same elegant wood, sturdy and refined.

When they stepped inside, they were greeted by bright, natural light.

Unlike the warm stained-glass windows in the dining room, the lounge had wide, clear windows that filled the room with sunshine.

It almost felt like stepping into another era.

For someone who came from a modern world, this lounge felt much more familiar and comfortable to Gara.

Besides the windows facing the side yard, there were also large ones facing the front, offering a clear view of the men working hard outside.

But the lounge itself was huge.

"Even with all the furniture and decorations already here, this room still looks so spacious," Wina remarked in awe.

"We could divide it into a few sections, Mom. Maybe add some partitions or a divider," Gara suggested.

Wina nodded. After spending so many years in a small bamboo house, seeing such a large, open space made her feel oddly uneasy.

From the lounge, they stepped out onto the side yard, where a newly added veranda stretched along the wall.

Gara instantly pictured the triplets running around there, laughter echoing in the air. With the pond and apple trees in the background, it would be a beautiful sight.

He silently promised himself he’d make sure the veranda furniture would be something special.

Their exploration wasn’t done yet.

They returned to the front room and stood before the grand staircase. There were two corridors flanking the stairs on both sides— and another one stretching out behind it.

The right corridor had two doors, while the left one had three. Judging from the space between the doors, the first room on the left seemed smaller than the rest.

They started with the right corridor, which should’ve contained Gara’s and Wina’s bedrooms.

But when they entered, both rooms were completely empty. No beds, no furniture, nothing.
