[BL] Accidentally Becoming the Healer of the Deranged Archduke-Chapter 256: The First Kiss
Chapter 256: The First Kiss
If one ignored the cute animals and little kids, Xion had never kissed before in his life. Ah, that should be two lives now.
The only exception was Darius. And now he was melting into that same person’s arms like a puddle.
His body felt as if it were on fire when Darius had nipped at his lower lip.
But the Archduke didn’t rush. He teased Xion by cradling his heated face, his lips hovering just a breath away. Warm air ghosted over Xion’s moist, pink lips.
His eyes burned with restrained hunger, waiting, testing, daring Xion to take the final step.
Xion’s cheeks flushed with warmth, and he found himself leaning forward, closing that last, agonizing inch.
Their lips brushed in a gentle, almost tender touch that made Darius’s restraint fray at the edges.
So soft, so darn sweet... Darius kissed Xion back. Gently at first, savoring the feel of it, the sheer rightness of it.
Xion’s breath tumbled over his lips, and Darius felt it — felt the way his darling’s hands tightened just slightly against his chest, clutching at his shirt.
Encouraged, Darius’s tongue swept out, tracing the seam of Xion’s lips, tasting the warmth of his breath. He licked slowly, sensually, coaxing him to reciprocate.
And when Xion did, things took a turn.
Darius bit him again, enough for the flushed healer to gasp.
His calloused hand moved down to Xion’s neck, his fingers curling around the delicate curve.
He could feel the frantic pulse fluttering beneath his fingertips, and it made him groan.
His other hand slid down to Xion’s waist, pulling him flush against his chest while slipping his tongue past the gap in Xion’s lips.
The slippery little beast explored every inch with hunger, mapping the softness, sliding over the ridge of his teeth.
When his sensitive palate was touched, a startled moan escaped Xion’s throat and was instantly swallowed by Darius.
The hand on his neck slid up into his hair, fingers curling into the dark strands. He tugged at the roots, just enough to make Xion whimper, his head tipping back for better access.
The black-haired healer couldn’t stop the moan from spilling out of his mouth, which only made Darius hungrier.
When Xion tried to kiss him back with the same intensity, he failed miserably.
He couldn’t. He just couldn’t match the passion and hunger of that kiss. All he could do was allow the Archduke to do what he wanted.
Their bodies were pressed so tightly together that he could feel Darius’s muscular chest against his own, the heat of that tall body almost scalding his nerves.
He tried to breathe, but every attempt was stolen. Each time he managed a quick gasp of air, Darius claimed his mouth again, harder, deeper, more demanding.
Soon his vision grew blurry and all his brain could register was the incessant press of Darius’ lips and tongue against his, stealing his breaths, kissing him, ravaging him.
It was as if the Archduke was drugged and Xion was his cure. Every time they parted, Xion was only allowed a simple inhale of oxygen before Darius kissed him again from a new angle.
Darius would groan in protest whenever Xion tried to break free, and like a starved animal, he pushed himself deeper inside that intoxicating mouth.
Overwhelmed, Xion’s knees buckled, and he might have collapsed if not for the firm thigh wedged between his legs, holding him up against that solid chest.
I can’t. Xion thought hazily. I can’t breathe. His lungs burned, and his system started sending him warning signals.
At last, with all his mustered strength, he pushed Darius away feebly. His chest rose and fell as he gazed at his lover with teary eyes.
"N-no more..." he rasped breathlessly.
That begging face, those rosy cheeks, kiss-bruised swollen lips, and those shimmering blue eyes... it was almost enough to shatter Darius’s sanity right then and there.
But for Xion’s sake, he held back. Barely.
Instead, he buried his head into Xion’s shoulder.
"So darn sweet," the Archduke said after a while, his deep voice hoarse from the earlier kiss. "You are so sweet that I want to gobble you up."
Xion let himself be held tightly. Closing his eyes, he took deep breaths, trying hard to keep his body from trembling.
My first kiss ... The flustered kitten thought in a daze.
A big palm was stroking over his back with a gentleness that was so against the earlier beast-like actions. It was making poor Xion’s brain melt.
"Your Grace," Xion mumbled.
Darius nuzzled against that delicate neck, placing featherlight kisses on the healer’s skin, "Yes, darling?" he said with adoration dripping from his voice.
Xion squeezed his eyes shut. His barely calm breath was about to betray him.
Darling... Darius had called him that with such a loving tone that Xion couldn’t even bring himself to push him away.
But he needed to. There was a terrible thing that needed to be addressed. frёewebηovel.cѳm
Although it made Xion’s ear emit heat, he licked his lips, hissing slightly when he accidentally touched the bitten mark, and then hesitantly spoke, "You... you are h-hard."
Darius leaned back just enough to peer at the flushed Xion.
Despite the obvious embarrassment, Xion was still trying to consider things for his sake. His baby looked so adorable, so cute that it was driving him mad.
The way Xion shyly peeked at him through his long eyelashes, looking like an angel dropped from heaven just for him, made his mind turn into darker territory... Like trapping his sweet darling in this villa.
Those could die without a cure. What did that have to do with them?
And yet, regardless of such horrifying thoughts, his lips pressed in thin lines, his gaze dropped, and he looked every bit like a criminal about to confess his sins.
"I am sorry, Xion. I know I should’ve held back, but I just like you so much that I couldn’t restrain myself. Can you forgive me? I will control myself next time, I promise."
If someone overheard their ruler string so many words together in one breath, they would assume it had to be a hallucination. The great Archduke of the North, stumbling over apologies? Impossible.
But there he was, the mighty Darius, practically begging, though his hands were still trapping his little kitten in his arms. There was not a single thread of the notion of letting Xion go.
