Behind him, Purgatory City and Thousand Faces Valley secretly supported his efforts, but the rebellion of the Demon Dragon Guard was suppressed in less than half an hour. A group of immensely powerful Death Banshees descended upon Abyss City, and Lady Hecate suddenly performed a Divine Descent, slapping the Demon Dragon Guard half to death. Succubus - Veronica paced anxiously in the room, as a turmoil had just erupted in Abyss City, with Extraordinary beings on the Asura Path invading, along with Shapeshifters from the Thousand Faces Valley. As a small figure, Veronica had no right to involve herself in the power struggles of the big shots, and she could only patiently await the outcome. Currently, what made her most uneasy was that she could not contact Shawn at this critical time.

Fire Burning Demon - Orn’s deep voice sounded: "Could you stop walking back and forth."

"Such major events are simply not something we can meddle in."

Succubus - Veronica turned her head and glared at the Fire Burning Demon across the room, speaking with determination, "The Maze Lock Area is now completely sealed off, and the City Lord’s Mansion has also erupted in fierce battles."

The followers of the Divine Terra Church had unknowingly grown to thousands, and if there were sufficient resources to arm these people, they would not be fearful of facing a Demon Legion head-on.

Orn had no doubt that Shawn could easily escape unscathed; indeed, he probably was no longer in the Maze Lock Area by now.

A sound of footsteps came from outside the door.

A mechanical arm, gleaming with metallic luster, pushed open the door, and Yvonne Tanner walked into the Purgatory Fire Horn, saying in a deep voice, "There are many Undead Beldams in the Lord’s Mansion now!"

"Those rebellious Demon Commanders have been slain!"

Upon hearing his words, the two present lifted their heads in surprise, and Veronica exclaimed, "Has a demigod on the Path of Death invaded Abyss City?"

This high-tier legendary Lich ordered the Undead Wizards around, who followed the Path of Death: "Completely take over the Maze Lock Area!"

"I’ll leave this to you, I’m going to report back to Lady Hecate."

The Undead Beldam beside her nodded slightly, for she was the Head Maid of the Maze Library, and in life, she was one of Lady Hecate’s chosen.

Under the control of the Undead Wizard, Flesh Golems emerged from the Teleportation Array, guarding the entrances to the Maze Lock Area, ignoring other regions. Behind the Flesh Golem legion was a large number of Skeleton Guards, each nearly three meters tall, with a second skull extending from their cervical vertebra, appearing as if they were constructed from two human skeletons.

Thousands upon thousands of Skeleton Guards stationed themselves in the barracks of Abyss City, with some directly going into a dormant state, stored in the underground dark rooms of Abyss City.

At an unknown time,

a magnificent and vast dome building appeared out of nowhere on the right side of the Maze Lock Area in Abyss City. It looked like a gigantic library, or perhaps a luxurious mausoleum, protected by an invisible energy barrier, barring anyone from approaching.
