Chapter 269: Chapter 48: Main Brain—Shawn!_3

"Do your people wish to reclaim their freedom?"

His words caused the Supreme Empress not far away to fall into deep thought. After a long while, her whispering voice arose: "Freedom? ... To become food for the Heart Stealers? ..."

Shawn shook his head and said, "Of course not."

"You should be able to sense that I’m not an ordinary Main Brain. I’m a bit different from them."

"I’m currently using a human body, so I don’t need to feed on brains."

When going out, you define your own identity.

Shawn completed his character setting, making the other side believe even more that he was unique. After all, in the Bizarre Realm, anything is possible.

"Human..."

The Supreme Empress’s voice was full of doubt, murmuring: "How did you seize a human body?"

She thought Shawn possessed it.

Shawn hoped she would think so. He intentionally spoke in a profound and mysterious tone, recalling the great detective Morty Laine: "An Otherworld spirit..."

"But if you want to know more, you must pay a price!"

Let the other side speculate on their own.

Shawn merely revealed the information of an ’Otherworld spirit’. Not far away, the Supreme Empress became agitated, seemingly aware of the existence of Otherworld spirits, murmuring: "No wonder..."

"Did you capture an Otherworld spirit? ..."

In the Bizarre Realm, an Otherworld spirit is equivalent to a rare treasure, highly valuable in the eyes of the creatures.

The Insect People ahead began to part to form a path.

The leading Insectoid Warrior addressed the other Heart Stealers: "Only he is allowed to enter the Empress’s chamber, everyone else must remain outside."

This indicated that the other side had already been convinced by Shawn.

Evil Objects are madder than any creature, and all beings loyal to the Lord of the Underworld are forced into submission.

"Master. Be careful!" Shute communicated psychically.

This Heart Stealer was indeed loyal.

It’s said that all Heart Stealers do not hesitate to sacrifice their lives to protect the Main Brain. It seems this rumor might be true because these Heart Stealers are indeed very "loyal."

As long as they still consider Shawn the "Main Brain," they will sacrifice everything for him!

Even Shawn himself began to doubt whether he had the traits of a Main Brain.

Otherwise, there was no way to explain why his Spiritual Energy was so much stronger than that of ordinary Transcendents on the Mind Path. The boost from the Inspiration Talent alone was not enough to expand the Spiritual Energy Pool and Mind Sensing Field to their current power.

This was a building that seemed like an Insect Nest, with numerous fine holes on the exterior.

Shawn slowly stepped inside.

With just a glance, he saw a captivating female silhouette. However, her lower half resembled an enormous and bulky insect-like tail, akin to a queen ant or bee, with a massive ovipositor almost filling the entire room.

This was the Supreme Empress of the Insect People, each group’s leader is a Supreme Empress, and behind her was a pile of objects resembling ant eggs, approximately fifteen centimeters in diameter.

Her features were more human-like, lacking the grayish-white keratin layer, but in place of hair grew whip-like strands akin to the Queen of Blades. Her upper body was very similar to a human, with two antennae about twenty centimeters long on her forehead. Her features exuded a bizarre and seductive beauty, her chest towering, draped in ornate leather armor. Below her slender waist was a grotesque, twisted, and massive lower body, like that of the Insect Race’s mother, entirely treated as a breeding tool.

The Insect People are a wise race, and their Supreme Empress was on the verge of losing control.

"He defiled me."

"Turning me into a breeding slave tool, eternally imprisoned here."

Shude-Mel, also of insect lineage, was an Old Bloodline, and he had, in some manner, dominated and enslaved the Insectoid Empress before Shawn, causing her Flesh Mutation, with her lower half twisted into a giant bloated insect.

Shawn calmly gazed at her, using Mind Communication to say, "That’s precisely why I’m here."

If he could correct the madness of those out of control, then perhaps he could heal the Insectoid Empress before him.

If the Insectoids turned on their own, this Underground City would fall without a fight!

Let’s acknowledge the Main Brain.

He was now the Main Brain—Shawn.
