Chapter 234: Chapter 37: The Human Concept! Shawn’s Servant Legion!

Wizard Tower.

Ever since he resolved to fight for humanity, especially for countless ordinary people.

Shawn has felt a peculiar sensation.

He seems to have inadvertently touched upon a thread of Law, although he hasn’t fully grasped it yet. But when he exercises ’Dominate Humans,’ he noticeably feels it’s much easier than before, even able to penetrate the mental defenses of humanoid beings slightly weaker than himself.

"The Domain Laws of this world seem to be condensed from corresponding concepts."

"So, does the concept of humanity count as a Domain?"

"If it counts as a Domain, can [humanity] converge into a Divine Position?"

Why were the nameless individuals of the past so powerful?

Earth, after all, is a world devoid of any Supernatural Power. They were far behind the Otherworld souls at the starting point, as Otherworld souls possess innate Knowledge from the Supernatural World. Their previous lives were Professionals, making it easier to ascend by merging Extraordinary Relics.

Also, during the Dark Era, why were so many people able to face death fearlessly and unify in their resolve?

Was it simply because of ideology?

No.

It shouldn’t be that simple!

Shawn awoke from his Meditation, gathered his scattered thoughts, and murmured: "Could it be that the nameless individuals of the past possessed the Law of the [humanity] Domain?"

This idea made him tremble slightly.

Because the concept of [humanity] is truly immense!

And incredibly difficult to grasp.

Even in the other Crystal Wall System Universes, it’s rare to see Divine Spirits ascend with ’humanity’ as their Divine Position, for such a Divine Position could birth an exceedingly mighty supreme deity.

[Humanity], as a Conceptual Law, more often forms a robust Human Pantheon, with at least several strong Divine Powers.

"How did the nameless individuals of the past break the immunity of the old Law with mere mortal bodies?"

"Was it the will to conquer fate?"

Shawn has always harbored a doubt in his heart, namely the immunity of the old Law, which ignores damage from abilities similar to itself. So during the utterly despairing Dark Era, how did humanity’s last Legendary ones manage to kill an old entity with the [Death] Law?

This is an almost impossible feat!

Death itself is an incredibly powerful concept; who could truly kill an entity with the Law of Death?

Unless humanity’s last destiny back then had mastered a Conceptual Law equal to death.

"If the concept of humanity can indeed condense into a Law."

"Then aside from them, who else is qualified to master the Domain of [humanity]?"

Shawn vaguely sensed something as he questioned his inner heart, fully integrating all experiences from his past life, including the ideological legacy he received on Earth. Deep in his heart, beyond personal desires, when all desires are satisfied, he deeply resonates with that great thought, for it is the highest spiritual pursuit.

He himself might not be able to achieve it, but he knows it is the best future for humanity!

Those who resent and are dissatisfied with great thoughts do so because they understand how hard it is for humanity to achieve them, often becoming tools for others’ selfish goals.

But you can resent reality, resent others; you cannot resent great thoughts.

If they can be realized, a sea of stars lies beneath our feet.

"Why can the Foreigner stand against natives and Otherworld souls despite their small numbers?"

"Why is Earth’s presence so impactful?"

"Because Earth people have been irrigated with many great thoughts; even if opposing at extremes, they know the best direction for humanity!"

Many things may be hindered by self-interest, but those who’ve undergone modern education understand what humanity’s best future is.

Even just inching closer has benefits for all beings.

Unity in will.

A sea of stars.

— They hold the Law of [humanity]!

Even as Foreigners transported to the Bizarre Realm, even having no blood ties with natives, even coming from entirely different worlds of legacy, just because of one great thought, they stayed to fight for the countless common people!

In the days when the Bizarre Realm wasn’t fully shrouded in gray mist, ordinary people might not have been able to leave, but Demigods definitely had the chance to escape.

They could flee to other worlds, even seek ways to reach Crystal Wall System Universes without old entities.

Yet they chose to stay.

They fought for it, sacrificed for it, gathered the strength of all humanity, shored up the towering edifice as it was falling, and rescued it from imminent ruin!

During the most perilous and despairing times, they forcefully ensured the continuation of humanity on the brink of extinction in this world.

Shawn thought of that galaxy-bright period of Earth’s history, where a group of internationalist Warriors opted to forsake a privileged life, heading to unfamiliar places, unfamiliar nations, to fight for the oppressed people there—even as the hardships had nothing to do with them, they resolutely embarked on the journey.

Idealists buried by reality, yet their radiance shines like a canopy of stars.

You may ridicule them like clowns, but you change nothing.

Those memories of Earth keep resonating, making Shawn, who embraces the darkness, ever unyielding!
