Birthing Legends: My Womb Creates SSS Monsters-Chapter 100: S Rank Adventurers Party vs. Chimera Mother — Part 4.
Erwin’s former A and S Rank party members shuffled toward him, their movements stiff and unnatural, violet fire burning in their hollow eyes.
But Erwin’s trembling fingers finally found the Teleportation Stone in his pocket.
With the last of his strength, he dragged it out. His muscles cramped violently, his bones screaming in agony, yet he forced his arm upward, refusing to surrender.
"YOU DEMON LORD! I’LL COME BACK! AND WHEN I DO, I’LL KILL YOU... AND YOUR CHILDREN! BECAUSE I AM THE HERO’S SON—MEANT TO DESTROY YOU ALL, YOU ABOMINATIONS!"
He raised the stone, ready to crush it and activate its power—
Then Maddy laughed.
The sound rattled through the chamber, a layered, monstrous laughter that made his very bones tremble.
The undead Gela moved first.
She lunged forward, raising her staff. A corrupted blessing spilled from it, washing over Erwin in a sickly glow. Instead of healing, the magic twisted his body—his muscles cramped harder, his bones softening and cracking under their own weight.
"GAHHH!!!"
Erwin screamed, tears of blood streaming down his face. The Teleportation Stone slipped from his trembling fingers and clattered onto the floor.
"NOOOO!"
His voice broke completely.
"I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! Please... please! I beg you! My father... my mother... they died because of that damned Demon Lord! Please... I’m begging you... spare me!"
His body collapsed against the ground, shaking uncontrollably.
"I—I’m the last of my bloodline... the last of our family... p-please..."
Ed’s headless form leveled the musket. He didn’t need eyes to aim; Maddy’s Undead Cognition, guided his hands.
BANG!
A necrotic round tore through Erwin’s shoulder, shattering the bone.
"F*CK!!!"
Zaun, now a shimmering Wraith Bone sentinel, flickered through the shadows. He appeared behind Erwin, his daggers sinking into the Captain’s kidneys. Erwin screamed not from the physical pain, but from the spiritual agony of being butchered by the people he had sworn to lead.
"You... monster...you stole them... twisted them... turned my comrades into your damned puppets!"
Maddy watched, her four children standing behind her in a silent, terrifying row.
"Is this the justice you brought to my home, Captain?"
Maddy asked, her voice echoing through the cathedral of flesh.
"Is this the ’Heroism’ you inherited?"
Erwin fell to his knees, surrounded by the shambling, rotting remains of his party. Lita knelt before him, her skeletal fingers tracing the line of his jaw before plunging into his chest to grasp his heart.
Frovian’s amber eyes cold as he watched the execution.
"Mother... His heart rate is failing. His ’Logic’ has completely collapsed."
"Good."
Maddy said, her form finally beginning to stabilize back into her human shape, though the violet fire remained in her eyes.
"Let him die knowing that in my world... those who raise their blades against my children... are nothing more than ingredients."
Lita’s corpse leaned close, her teeth clacking softly beside Erwin’s ear. Through Maddy’s Undead Cognition, she forced words through Lita’s lifeless mouth.
"Rest now... Captain."
With that final moment, the undead party finished their task. Erwin... the son of the Golden Hero who had slain the Demon Lord ten years ago, now lay dead in the dirt of the cave.
Maddy turned away from the carnage, her expression softening as she looked at her children. Her voice returned to its gentle, motherly tone.
"My children... Mother would do anything to protect you. I won’t let anyone harm any of you..."
The silence that followed Erwin’s death was heavier than the mana that had preceded it. Maddy stood over the broken remains of the "Son of the Hero’s" lineage, her breathing ragged, her human face a mask of cold, maternal exhaustion.
She looked at her children.
"It’s over..."
Her voice trembled, the monstrous reverb of the Chimera fading into the soft tone of a woman who had simply seen too much.
"They won’t hurt you anymore. They won’t touch our home again. And if anyone ever dares to do so... they will suffer the same fate."
For a moment, none of the children spoke. The battlefield was silent except for the faint crackle of fading mana and the distant dripping of blood against stone.
They looked at the remains. Then they looked at their mother.
Sephiran, who had been gripping his War Bat tightly, slowly lowered it. His usual playful energy was gone. His eyes were wide—not with fear, but with a deep, dawning understanding.
"...Mother is amazing. She... she didn’t hesitate. Not even once."
He clenched the bat again, determination replacing the shock.
"If anyone tries to hurt our family... I’ll smash them just like that too!"
Dyralfa crossed her arms, her powerful tail curling behind her. Her expression was hard, almost proud, as she looked at the fallen adventurers.
"They came into our home. They threatened our family."
Her golden eyes shifted to Maddy.
"Mother only did what any mother should."
She cracked her knuckles slowly.
"If someone comes again... they’ll meet me before they ever reach you."
Arach stood the tallest among them, his six arms slowly folding across his chest. His gaze lingered on the battlefield, thoughtful and solemn.
"...Mother showed mercy many times before this. She even mourned those fallen adventurers caught in the Lich’s tricks."
Then his eyes lifted to Maddy.
"But when mercy failed... and hers was threatened... she became something else."
His voice lowered with quiet respect.
"A true guardian. A true MOTHER!"
One of his hands rested gently against the stone floor of their cavern.
"Our home... our family... our future. We will protect it the same way."
Frovian stepped forward last, his amphibian skin glistening faintly in the dim light. His eyes shone with intense admiration as he looked at Maddy.
"Magnificent! To witness such decisive, absolute power in defense of love..."
He placed a hand over his chest dramatically.
"Mother, your resolve is perfection itself and if the world dares to send more fools to test that resolve..."
A slow smile spread across his face.
"...then we will show them that your children are just as merciless."
The siblings stood together behind Maddy.
Not afraid.
Not shaken.
But united by a single truth they had just witnessed with their own eyes—If someone threatened their family... Their mother would become a monster. And they were more than ready to become monsters too.
