Billionaire's Unforgettable Ex-Wife-Chapter 884 - 552: Henry Sullivan’s Revenge
This woman felt she had hit the jackpot today, three thousand bucks, just for playing a part in a show.
Really a generous benefactor.
An hour later, the woman took the money and left downstairs on her own.
Nathan Rhodes rushed into Henry Sullivan’s room, finding he’d already gone to the bathroom to take a shower.
After coming out, he told Nathan, "Have someone change the sheets and covers; I need some rest."
Nathan frowned, "Henry, Mom knows you’re not feeling well, but the divorce is already a done deal.
Yesterday, your dad went to the Miller family to apologize, but Ivy Miller won’t relent.
What can you change even if you torment yourself now?
Even if Mom begs you, don’t do this, okay?"
Henry Sullivan smirked, "I find these days quite nice, living in a daze, haha, it’s none of your business."
He left the room and went downstairs, standing outside in the cold wind for a while until a servant came to inform him that the room had been tidied up.
He went back inside, ignoring Nathan sitting in the living room as if he didn’t exist.
Nathan felt that things couldn’t continue like this, so he called Florence Wilder.
Florence Wilder arrived early the next day, wearing a white short dress with red polka dots, and high heels that made her figure look slender.
Nathan was quite satisfied at first sight; she’d obviously dressed up meticulously.
She said to Florence, "Your uncle isn’t home, and I have to tell you, today is a good opportunity—you must seize it well.
Henry is about to get a divorce; he’s a responsible guy, you know what I mean?"
Florence shyly smiled and nodded, "Auntie, thank you for liking me so much."
"Alright, no need to say more, just promise me, help pull Henry out from the shadow of heartbreak."
Florence smiled, and Nathan took her upstairs to knock on the door, "Henry, awake? I heard you came home; Florence came to see you."
When Henry Sullivan opened the door, he was wearing a robe, half-open, making Florence blush with embarrassment.
Seeing this, Nathan laughed, "Well then, I have a meeting this morning, can you help me take care of Florence?"
"No problem, you can go."
Nathan felt that half the work was done and left with peace of mind.
After she left, Henry turned to go inside, and Florence followed him in awkwardly, "Henry, are you alright? I heard from Auntie that you’re getting a divorce."
"What’s there to worry about? Without a wife, I’ll find another one," Henry said, pouring himself a drink and one for Florence.
Florence didn’t expect Henry’s attitude to change so quickly, and her mood improved instantly.
"Henry, it’s really great that you think this way; you don’t know how worried Auntie has been about you."
"I know, and I also know she wants me to marry you."
Florence blushed, "Henry, actually... I like you."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."
"No wonder, looks like you don’t like Ivy Miller either."
"I... it’s not that I don’t like her; it’s just that I feel she’s not a match for you.
You’re so good, you deserve someone better."
Henry Sullivan smiled faintly, "So, you’re the most suitable woman for me, right?"
Florence didn’t admit it herself, but Henry said, "Actually, I also think your family’s conditions match with ours.
If I hadn’t met Ivy first, I might have been arranged to meet you.
There would have been a possibility of marriage upon meeting."
"Sometimes fate is so wonderful; we just missed each other by a step.
But, Henry, it doesn’t matter, now... you’re already divorced, almost a free man."
Henry looked into her eyes, full of teasing, "Who says so, but I have a kid, would you mind?" 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"No, Auntie said the child is with that woman, not with you."
That woman? Henry tightened his grip on the wine glass, "Yes, indeed, I’m not very good at taking care of kids."
"Kids should be looked after by their mothers anyway; Ivy Miller doesn’t have much going on, let her take care of the kid.
We can give her some child support every month; that would be fair to her, right?"
The way Florence spoke, it seemed as if she could marry Henry Sullivan the next day.
This made Henry genuinely feel disgusted.
"That’s right, you’re very right," the words squeezed out through his teeth.
Henry fiddled with his phone for a while and then said, "Florence, you came here today willingly, right?"
"Of course, I’m here voluntarily."
"Okay, so no matter what happens later, you won’t regret it?"
Florence nodded, "Yes."
"Even things in bed?"
Florence bit her lip, bashfully looking down, "Henry, you’re speaking too bluntly."
"Just tell me, are you willing or not?"
"I am."
"So you won’t say it was forced just because you lost your purity."
"I already said, I’m willing, I really am. I’ve had a strong mind of my own since I was young—if I want to do something, no one can stop me, and if I don’t want to, no one can force me."
"Alright, let’s drink," Henry smiled at her and clinked glasses with her.
After downing a glass, Florence felt dizzy, and soon, she fell asleep on the sofa.
Henry Sullivan stood before Florence, slightly raising an eyebrow as he turned off the recording on his phone.
Then he turned around and made a phone call...
Nathan had just come out of the meeting room when she received a message, and upon opening it, she was shocked to find it was a video sent by Henry Sullivan.
She opened the video, and for a moment, she felt her head explode.
In the video, Florence lay on Henry Sullivan’s bed, covered with a quilt, but her shoulders were exposed.
Next to her was a man, also only partially covered, with his upper body unclothed, both deeply asleep, and the man was clearly not her son.
Nathan clenched her fists tightly; what had this child done?
