Billionaire's Unforgettable Ex-Wife-Chapter 34 There Are Actually Women Who Dare Hang Up on Him First
Chapter 34: Chapter 34 There Are Actually Women Who Dare Hang Up on Him First
"You need to sign."
Faye Townsend glanced at her wristwatch, "I’ll come to you then.
Is it okay to go to your company?"
Oliver Turner raised his eyebrows, "What, do you need to keep your living place a secret?
You should know that if I wanted to know where you live now, it would take me just half an hour to find out."
"I don’t think you would be that bored.
I’ll arrive at your company within an hour. See you later."
After finishing her words, Faye Townsend hung up the phone directly.
Oliver Turner curved his lips into a smile.
Quite a rarity, there are actually women in the world who dare to hang up on him first.
Faye Townsend, she indeed has a way of grabbing his attention.
Impressive.
When Faye Townsend appeared in front of Oliver Turner wearing a pink dress, Oliver Turner was dazed for a good while.
Not many women her age could pull off pink so perfectly.
His eyes filled with admiration, he brought his hands together under his chin and scrutinized her.
"It seems every time we meet, you bring me a surprise."
Faye Townsend stepped forward, "That’s because your threshold for surprise is too low.
Give me the contract; I’m here to sign it, right?"
Oliver Turner smiled and shuffled the contract out onto the table in front of them.
Faye Townsend picked up the contract, glanced at it, and simply signed her name on it, pressing her fingerprint.
"Alright, from now on, you’re tied to the Townsend Family.
Mr. Xu, best of luck. I am looking forward to your great performance."
Oliver Turner took the contract back and gave it a look, "The signature is not bad."
Faye Townsend pursed her lips, "My grandfather is the president of the Anchester Calligraphers Association.
This shouldn’t be any secret."
"But your brother’s handwriting is just average."
Oliver Turner looked at her, "So, I’m even more inclined to believe ’the handwriting reflects the person.’
Because you are beautiful, so is your handwriting."
Faye Townsend lifted the corners of her mouth, "There’s no such thing as ’handwriting reflects the person’ in the world.
I put a lot of effort behind this beautiful handwriting.
If there’s nothing else now, I won’t keep you from working." frёewebηovel.cѳm
"Wait a minute." Oliver Turner lifted his wrist and checked the time, "It’s ten o’clock now, wait for me for an hour, let’s have lunch together.
You don’t have anything else anyway."
"Who said I have nothing else to do? I need to practice my spoken English recently.
I don’t want to become illiterate and be laughed at when I go abroad."
"Really? In that case, from now on, I’ll be your practice partner."
Faye Townsend smiled, "Would you, the grand CEO Oliver, really be so idle?"
"Won’t we know from now on?"
Oliver Turner started speaking in English, Faye Townsend was taken aback for a moment, then responded fluently.
Hearing Faye Townsend’s standard pronunciation, Oliver Turner smiled and said, "With your level, you’re worried about becoming illiterate abroad? That’s rather an unwarranted worry."
Faye Townsend laughed, "Haven’t you realized? I simply don’t feel like accompanying you for a meal."
"What, do I look that unpleasant?"
Faye Townsend shook her head and smiled, "Of course not, I just don’t have an appetite.
I’m a woman who’s just lost her marriage; I ought to mourn my eight-year relationship for a few days."
Oliver Turner shook his head, his gaze filled with amusement, "You really are a strange woman."
"I won’t keep you company any longer, I’ll be leaving first. Call me if there’s anything." Faye Townsend turned and left.
Oliver Turner watched her leave, his gaze becoming a bit more tender.
At night, Faye Townsend curled up on the balcony, listening to English songs with her headphones on.
As one song ended, she faintly heard the loud knocking sounds outside the door.
