Billionaire's Secret Twins and Rebellious Wife-Chapter 32 - 0: You Will Definitely Regret It!
Chapter 32 - 032: You Will Definitely Regret It!
Yan Xinxin heard a magnetic male voice near her ear, with a hint of mystery and indifference in his tone, yet his attitude was undeniably firm.
She lifted her head and was startled to see the renowned, top-ranked heartthrob of the school, Xu Nuo, standing beside her.
His sharp, cold yet alluring profile glistened under the sunlight, breathtakingly handsome, with a black inverted-triangle earring that was his signature feature. Although his face exuded warmth, it carried an air of casual defiance.
Xu Nuo glanced at Luo Yiyi with contempt, brushing off her hand disdainfully. He then pulled out a clean handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his hand with it.
Luo Yiyi staggered back a few steps, her steps faltering. Seeing Xu Nuo's gesture, her once radiant and charming face dimmed instantly.
Yan Xinxin suddenly realized a very serious problem—she had just automatically assumed the situation involved Mo Chuxi!
She thought she had become a third party interfering in Mo Chuxi and Luo Yiyi's relationship. But in reality... Xu Nuo? Was the "boyfriend" Luo Yiyi was talking about actually Xu Nuo?
Yan Xinxin felt even more baffled. She and Xu Nuo had at most exchanged one or two sentences. How had she ended up "entangling" him?
Moreover, it seemed like Xu Nuo wasn't Luo Yiyi's boyfriend at all.
So now she, Yan Xinxin, had unwittingly taken the blame for something, and almost got beaten up?
Xu Nuo put away his handkerchief and shot Luo Yiyi another icy look before lowering his gaze to Yan Xinxin, whose face was full of confusion and a hint of daze.
He hesitated for a few seconds and then suddenly reached out and grabbed Yan Xinxin's hand.
"You, come with me."
"...Huh?"
Yan Xinxin hadn't even processed what was happening when Xu Nuo pulled her away.
His palm was cool to the touch, the same sensation she had felt the other day when they accidentally brushed against one another.
"Wait, what are you doing? Xu Nuo..."
Yan Xinxin exclaimed in startled confusion, struggling to break free, but Xu Nuo still held onto her and kept walking.
"Xu Nuo! You'll regret this!"
Luo Yiyi's defiant challenge echoed from behind them.
Yan Xinxin furrowed her brows tightly, feeling as if she had somehow stumbled into yet another troublesome situation...
"Ring, ring, ring—"
The school bell signaling the start of class rang.
"Xu Nuo, let go of me. I need to get to class,"
Yan Xinxin insisted as she continued to struggle to free herself.
Without paying her any attention, Xu Nuo pulled her to the far corner of the hallway at the end of the teaching building, finally letting go of her hand.
Yan Xinxin looked at Xu Nuo in bewilderment, clutching the wrist that he had hurt from his grip, then turned to leave.
But as soon as she took a step forward, her arm was seized by Xu Nuo again. With seemingly effortless strength, he yanked her back. That refreshing and unique faint scent drifted over once more—it was Xu Nuo's scent.
"..."
What's going on?
Yan Xinxin was dumbfounded. Her soulful, cat-like eyes lifted in confusion, accidentally locking onto Xu Nuo's stunning yet unfathomably dark gaze.
Damn, so cold...
Even colder than that man, Mo Chuxi.
But clearly, Mo Chuxi's chill was far more intimidating and fearsome.
"Do you... need something?"
Yan Xinxin asked nervously.
"If not, I really need to get back to class..."
"Did you just tell Luo Yiyi that we're living together?"
"..."
Xu Nuo spoke, and Yan Xinxin froze, her delicate, pale face blushing with embarrassment.
"It's a misunderstanding. I thought you were..."
"Hmm?"
"...I can't say. The point is, I mistook you for someone else."
Averting her gaze from his striking features that were now so close, Yan Xinxin rubbed her slightly sore wrist.
"Then I'll head to class now."
"You haven't finished explaining yourself,"
Xu Nuo countered, grasping Yan Xinxin's arm again just as she was turning to leave. His deep, unfathomable eyes locked firmly on her panicked expression while his faintly pink lips curved into the hint of a smile.
"You mistook me for that Mo guy, didn't you?"
"..."
