Billionaire's Secret Twins and Rebellious Wife-Chapter 20 - 0: The Heartbeat Throws Everything Into Disarray
Chapter 20 - 020: The Heartbeat Throws Everything Into Disarray
Yan Xinxin felt as though her entire body had been seen right through.
Her own measurements were not something she was particularly clear about, yet the man in front of her could state them with such accurate numbers...
"Big brother, what are Xinxin sister and that big brother doing?"
Little Chenxi blinked curiously and asked Yan Chenxi.
Yan Chenxi was equally puzzled, only seeing Mo Chuxi and Yan Xinxin standing very close to each other.
Strangely enough, he didn't feel repelled by this unfamiliar big brother being so close to his Xinxin. It seemed this big brother indeed had potential to become Xinxin's man!
Yan Xinxin flushed red and stumbled backward two steps.
This man was simply toxic.
It felt as though just being slightly closer to him made her heartbeat lose all sense of rhythm.
"Can you bring up my suitcase? I need to give the two kids a bath first so they don't catch a cold."
Yan Xinxin spoke while pointedly avoiding Mo Chuxi's gaze.
Mo Chuxi looked at Yan Xinxin, the corner of his thin lips curving into a faint smile before he withdrew his gaze and strode out of the room with his long legs.
It looked like he was probably helping her retrieve the suitcase.
"Whew—"
Yan Xinxin let out a sigh of relief and turned to smile at the two little ones.
"Xi, little Chenxi, come here, it's bath time."
"Okay."
Chenxi responded, her soft little hand naturally reaching to grab Yan Chenxi's hand.
"Xi brother, let's go take a bath together!"
Yan Chenxi hadn't initially paid attention but quickly stopped at the bathroom door, his handsome little face flushed lightly.
"Xinxin, help her with her bath. I'll take mine later on my own."
Yan Chenxi released little Chenxi's hand, his face suddenly serious.
Yan Xinxin understood her son's meaning right away, fearing that little Chenxi might think her big brother disliked her. She quickly took her tiny hand and bent down with a smile.
"Chenxi, let sister help you with your bath first."
"Alright..."
Little Chenxi responded obediently, her adorable little head popping out from behind Yan Xinxin to look at Yan Chenxi.
"Xi brother, see you in a bit, okay?"
She waved her soft, pale hand, her face radiating with pure innocence. Yan Xinxin couldn't help but smile along; it seemed little Chenxi liked Xi very much.
——
Mo Chuxi came back up carrying the suitcase, only to see Yan Chenxi sitting in a small bundle on the sofa in the living room, his brows furrowed deeply as if lost in thought.
When Mo Chuxi encountered this little guy yesterday, he already felt like there was something different about him compared to other kids. His looks were exceptionally striking.
At the time, for reasons even he couldn't quite explain, though he had been rushing off to a meeting, he still chose to personally take the boy to the hospital.
"Why are you sitting there all alone? Isn't your mom giving you all a bath?"
Mo Chuxi asked casually as he gracefully stepped into the room.
Yan Chenxi jumped off the sofa with a thud and raised his gaze seriously.
"I don't bathe with girls. Xinxin told me that boys and girls should keep an appropriate distance." fгeewebnovёl.com
Xinxin? Was that Yan Xinxin, that silly woman?
Mo Chuxi knit his brows slightly before shifting his gaze to the little guy's previously sprained leg.
"Is your foot alright now?"
"It's fine now!"
Yan Chenxi replied confidently, walking toward Mo Chuxi with sincerity glowing in his eyes.
"Big brother, thank you for taking me to the hospital yesterday."
Big... brother?
Mo Chuxi's sharp features darkened faintly, but when he looked down at that handsome, rosy little face, he couldn't summon any anger and even found the little guy kind of adorable.
Mo Chuxi reached out and placed his hand on Yan Chenxi's soft little head. The fluffy, short hair inexplicably gave him a sense of closeness.
After gently stroking twice, Mo Chuxi realized he'd lost a bit of his composure, quickly withdrawing his hand and resuming his usual aloof, distant demeanor.
"Kid, follow me."
