She didn’t know what Gu Sheng was planning to do. She didn’t respond to him, instead instinctively shifting further inside, quietly waiting for the plane to land.

Gu Yao glanced at the clean hand offered in front of her. She hesitated for a moment but still extended her hand politely intending to shake his.

Yet as her hand reached out, it hadn’t even touched his when a fair, attractive hand with distinct joints and slender fingers beat her to it and shook the man’s hand first.

Both Gu Yao and Cheng Xia were taken aback.

Gu Sheng spoke with a bit of unfriendly tone in his voice, "I am Gu Sheng."

After saying those simple four words, Gu Sheng withdrew his hand before Cheng Xia could even react, not wanting to hold the handshake a second longer.
