Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 514: Angelica And Athena Revealing The Truth
Morning sunlight slipped through the golden curtains of Demeter’s chamber.
She woke gently in Sharky’s arms, her head resting against his chest, her hair spread across him like strands of harvest-gold. For the first time in centuries, Demeter felt peace instead of loneliness.
She looked up softly, her fingers tracing the line of his jaw.
Demeter said warmly, "Last night... you healed a wound inside me that I thought would never close."
Sharky brushed her cheek, calm and composed.
"You healed me," she whispered, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. "With your presence, your warmth... you mended the broken pieces of my soul."
Sharky remained silent, his touch gentle and steady.
She leaned forward and kissed him again, soft, grateful, driven by newfound affection.
From that moment, she accepted herself as his lover without hesitation, as naturally as sunlight meeting the earth she governed.
She sat up, wrapping herself in her green-gold robe, her body still faintly glowing where her divine energy had mingled with Sharky’s.
Then her expression turned serious. She lifted his hand and held it between both of hers.
"Now, I am going to tell you something very important," Demeter knew the dangers of Olympus better than any other goddess, and now that Sharky was her lover, she felt she had to warn him.
"Zeus looks friendly at first... but he never truly trusts anyone outside Olympus. If he ever feels that you threaten Olympus, even slightly, he will strike first."
She looked directly into Sharky’s eyes.
"Hera is far more dangerous than Zeus. She smiles, but her mind never stops calculating. Every word, every gesture, she measures them all. If she senses even a single weakness in you, she will use it without hesitation."
Then her expression hardened.
"Ares is blinded by rage. He craves war, lives for it. Phobos’ death has already filled him with anger."
She touched Sharky’s arm.
"He does not yet know that you killed Phobos. But if he learns the truth too soon, he will attack without thinking."
Finally, her irritation showed.
"And Aphrodite... She is dangerous in a different way. She pretends softness, but she manipulates hearts like weapons. She will not harm you physically," Demeter said, resting her hand on Sharky’s chest. "But she may try to control your path, your choices... even your emotions."
Her grip tightened slightly.
"Athena is intelligent," Demeter continued, "but she is also cunning. Her loyalty belongs to Olympus above all else—even if that loyalty demands betrayal."
Her tone softened, then shifted again as she spoke of another.
"Artemis is different," she said quietly. "She avoids men. She distrusts them. If she believes you pose a threat to young gods or young maidens, she will not hesitate to act."
Demeter paused, a faint shiver running through her.
"And Hekate..." Her voice dropped lower. "Do not trust her. She rules shadow and sorcery, and her loyalty shifts like the moon. If she senses weakness, she will strike from the darkness without warning."
At last, she stepped closer again, her hand rising to Sharky’s cheek with tenderness.
"You are not like the gods here," she said softly. "You feel. You care. That is what makes you stronger than any of them."
Her eyes dimmed with worry.
"But it is also why I fear for you. Olympus can be cruel, even to those it smiles upon."
She leaned into him, resting her forehead against his. "Stay cautious."
"I will," Sharky replied softly, seeing the fatigue in her eyes.
He leaned down and kissed her gently on the forehead, whispered for her to take care, and then left the chamber.
As he stepped into the golden corridor of Olympus, Hela was already waiting for him, leaning against a marble pillar with her arms folded, Sigurd resting quietly in her embrace. Her emerald eyes glowed faintly, her expression calm and composed.
But her hair told a different story. It shimmered with a mix of red and green.
Sharky understood immediately, she was angry and jealous.
"She was wounded," he said calmly, trying to soothe her. "Lonely. I comforted her. Now she stands with us."
Hela reached out and took his arm, not gently, but firmly, her fingers tightening around it. Sharky didn’t pull away. He let her hold on, knowing she was hurting.
"What’s the plan now?" Hela asked quietly.
Sharky looked ahead down the long, radiant halls of Olympus. "I’ve reached a decision," he said, "but I need more confirmation."
Hela nodded once. "Alright."
They continued down the grand hallway together. Then the doors ahead opened.
Two goddesses stepped out, elegant, radiant, and unmistakably divine.
Athena stood tall and poised, silver battle armor fitted perfectly to her form, storm-gray eyes sharp and analytical, assessing everything in a single glance.
Beside her was Angelica, golden-haired and luminous, wearing a flowing rose-gold gown. Her beauty was soft and gentle, and her warm smile carried a hint of shyness, though her heart fluttered the moment her eyes met Sharky’s.
Both of them stopped before him.
Athena bowed slightly, her posture respectful yet assessing. "Sharky Valor, we have been instructed to accompany you."
Angelica stepped forward next, her voice softer, almost carrying emotion. "We... wished to welcome you personally."
Hela watched them with a faint smirk. She could sense it instantly, both goddesses’ eyes were drawn to Sharky’s presence.
Sharky simply nodded, calm and unreadable. "Very well. Then lead the way."
Athena and Angelica exchanged a brief glance. Just like Aphrodite and Demeter, both were drawn to him.
Just as Athena and Angelica stepped forward to guide him, a ripple of reddish energy flickered behind them.
Deimos appeared.
Tall, sharp-featured, clad in black-and-crimson armor, his presence radiated dread and suppressed violence. His eyes narrowed as they locked onto Sharky, then shifted to Hela.
"Goddess Hela," he said coldly, "I have some questions for you."
Sharky glanced at him, instantly recognizing the familiar scent of fear aura, akin to Phobos.
He gently touched Hela’s arm. "Go. He might know something about Astrid. I’ll continue the tour."
Hela nodded once and stepped toward Deimos with regal calm. "Ask your questions, son of Ares."
Deimos bowed stiffly, though the anger in his aura did not fade.
Sharky did not look back as he followed Athena and Angelica deeper into the Olympian halls. He was not worried about Hela; instead, a dry thought crossed his mind, she won’t kill Deimos while we’re still in Olympus.
---
They entered a vast marble arena: white stone floors, towering golden pillars, glowing runic circles etched into the ground, and rows of pristine armor stands.
Athena walked ahead with pride. "This is my training ground, where the warriors of wisdom train. Strategists. Generals. Tacticians."
Sharky surveyed the arena, Angelica watched him quietly, admiration flickering in her eyes.
Athena continued, her tone measured. "We train to preserve Olympus... and to prevent needless war."
Sharky raised an eyebrow slightly. He could feel it, Athena was probing him without words, weighing him carefully, deciding whether he was an ally... or a future threat.
---
After leaving the training grounds, Angelica led Sharky through a golden archway into a lush sanctuary known as the Garden of Serenity.
Celestial flowers glowed softly in shades of gold, pink, and violet. Soft petals drifted through the air like falling stars, while magical fireflies floated between curling vines and gentle waterfalls.
Angelica smiled faintly. "This is my sanctuary. A garden where hearts heal... and wounded spirits find peace."
Sharky walked beside her in silence.
Angelica kept glancing at him, unable to hide the warm blush spreading across her cheeks. "Forgive me if I stare," she said softly. "You... radiate something I’ve never felt before."
Athena noticed the look immediately, her storm-gray eyes narrowing with curiosity.
Angelica reached out and touched a glowing lavender petal. "Your aura feels... heavy with grief," she said gently. "Are you searching for something?"
Sharky did not answer.
Athena spoke instead, "You can speak, if you have any issues, if we are able, we can solve it."
Angelica nodded together with her. But Sharky didn’t say a word.
---
While Sharky continued his tour of Olympus, Hela and Deimos stood facing each other in a shadowed hallway.
Deimos clenched his fists. "Tell me, Hela... who killed my brother?"
Hela tilted her head slightly, her expression composed. "And why should I tell you anything?"
Deimos’ eyes flashed with frustration. "Because he kidnapped an Asgardian child, didn’t he?"
Hela’s face remained unreadable. "If you tell me where Astrid is, I will reveal who killed your brother.".
Deimos hesitated.
---
Sharky after thinking for a few minutes, he asked them, "Tell me what you know... about the Serpent of Ruin."
Athena’s expression changed immediately. A faint, satisfied smile touched her lips, this was something she had expected him to ask.
Angelica tensed slightly beside her.
Athena stepped forward, golden armor gleaming beneath the skylight, she began to speak, "Phobos, the son of Ares, recently died, but no one mourned him. Why? Because he had already been banished from Olympus for forming an alliance with Skarn. A disgrace to this realm."
Angelica nodded quietly.
Athena continued, "Before his death, we learned that Phobos planned to kidnap someone from Asgard."
She watched Sharky closely. His jaw tightened for a fraction of a second, but he remained silent.
"And then, Phobos was killed. We do not know by whom. But many assume it was an Asgardian. And frankly, no one here cared. He dared to target the children of Asgard. By our judgment, he deserved his end."
She paused briefly. "But we do know something else. The kidnapped individual was never recovered."
Angelica stepped forward, finishing the thought softly. "Which means the Serpent of Ruin escaped... with the captive."
Athena nodded firmly. "That creature serves only one mistress."
Her voice hardened. "Echidna."
Sharky’s eyes flickered with quiet recognition. From the moment he understood the Serpent’s nature, Echidna had already been forming his suspicions.
He stepped closer to Athena.
"Who is Echidna? And where does she reside?"
Athena had expected the question. Her voice lowered, becoming far more serious. "Echidna is the Mother of Monsters. A primordial being, older than Olympus itself."
Angelica added softly, "She commands shadow-born creatures, curses, and beasts that slither between realms."
Athena continued, "She is unpredictable, dangerous, and thrives on chaos. Even Zeus avoids provoking her unless absolutely necessary."
Sharky’s eyes narrowed. "...And where does she hide?"
Athena shook her head. "No one knows her true location. She does not exist in a single plane, but across shifting timelines and forgotten realms."
Hearing this, Sharky finally felt it, a lead. A fragile thread leading toward his daughter.
He did not let it show.
"Thank you," he said simply.
Athena smiled faintly, finding herself drawn to his composed strength.
Angelica’s heart fluttered as she watched him, quiet determination radiating from every step he took.
