She sat down with a wry smile, "Do you think I’m weak?"

"No," Ellen’s reply actually surprised Lucy, "You’re helping her only because you’re sisters. After all, you grew up together. Some bonds can’t just be broken at will. You can’t just watch her walk into a fire pit."

The cause of Lucy Wood’s situation wasn’t Daisy Wood. Daisy chose to watch from the sidelines, and now Lucy’s choice to help her just proved Lucy was soft-hearted and kind.
