Becoming Secret Nanny for Possessive CEO-Chapter 198: Santa Is Coming!
A month has passed since learning of her third pregnancy. To celebrate this joyous occasion and to celebrate Christmas and New Year with her family, Edith, Callum, and their twins went on vacation to Switzerland. Although they had previously visited Switzerland for their pre-wedding photoshoot, Callum felt that going there was the perfect choice for Christmas and New Year. Especially since their twins were able to enjoy their first snowfall.
They went to Switzerland not only to stay at a private mansion, but also to stroll around Zurich to see the Christmas decorations displayed along the streets. Seeing people dressed in Santa costumes greeting children made Erdin and Eliana want to be greeted too.
"Mom, dad, does Santa really exist?" Eliana asked with an innocent look.
Callum furrowed his brows. "Why do you ask so suddenly, my little princess?"
"Because according to the stories about Santa in fairy tales, there’s only one Santa in the world. But why do I always see so many Santas here?"
Hearing their little daughter’s overly innocent words, Callum and Edith burst out laughing until their cheeks turned red. Meanwhile, Erdin could only shake his head at his sister’s stupid question.
"Eliana, Santa doesn’t exist in this world! Why do you believe fairy tales so easily?" Erdin snapped, his hands on his hips.
"I just want to meet a real Santa. Plus, I really like the kind of Santa who gives presents to children." Hearing her brother’s yelling made her eyes start to well up with tears. "Mom, Erdin yelled at me again!"
Edith crouched down in front of her son, who continued to laugh at his younger sibling. "My son, why do you like to tease your younger sister so much?"
"Because Eliana is too innocent."
Meanwhile, Callum immediately picked up his little daughter to calm her down. "Kids, instead of fighting on Christmas Eve, why don’t we just continue our journey?"
Eliana laughed mischievously, wrapping her tiny arms around her father’s neck. "Daddy is the best. You’ve always loved me."
"Of course. Because we look so much alike, my Princess." His lips moved close to her tiny ear. "Actually, I also believe that Santa exists."
"Really, Dad?"
"Of course. In fact, every Christmas, I always wait for Santa to bring me presents. I never get tired of waiting for it."
Hearing his father support his younger sister, Erdin immediately pursed his lips and looked away. This time, it was Edith’s turn to support her handsome son. She also held him in her arms and stroked his tiny head.
"Are you still angry, my son?"
Erdin nodded in annoyance. "Dad would rather support Eliana than me!"
Edith shook her head as her husband busily pampered their little daughter. She was actually jealous that her husband cared more about her child than her. She was pregnant and wanted his pampering.
"It’s okay, my son. You’re still with me now."
"You are the best mom!" Erdin kissed his mother’s cheek enthusiastically, making Callum immediately jealous.
"My son, since when did I let you be spoiled by your mother so openly?"
Edith laughed at her husband, sticking out her tongue. "This is what happens when you pamper Eliana more than you pamper me!"
"Honey, are you jealous right now?"
"I’m not jealous! I’m just craving some pampering from you."
At the same time, a snowflake fell on the twins’ palms, making them scream simultaneously.
"Dad! Mom! It’s snowing!"
Edith and Callum exchanged their most beautiful smiles, gazing up at the snow-covered sky. Their eyes sparkled, gazing directly at the snowfall with their little family, especially on Christmas Eve. They immediately put their child down and held their hand tightly.
"The snow is so beautiful, soft like my wife."
Hearing her husband’s sweet talk made her cheeks flush. "Your lips are too sweet. But actually, I also like snow because I imagine it’s you. Your gentle demeanor is like snow."
"By the way, Dad, can we have a snowball fight at home?" Erdin asked, blinking his eyes several times.
Callum nodded. "Of course. You can play as much as you like. Since it snowed earlier, there’s enough snow for us to have a snow fight and build a snowman."
"If Dad made the snowman, it would be very beautiful!" Eliana praised, amazed at her father’s handsome face.
"My daughter, don’t praise me too much. Your mother will be jealous again."
Walking around downtown to see the Christmas ornaments and take photos together by the giant Christmas tree was both fun and memorable for them, as it was their first time celebrating Christmas as a family. Now it was time for them to have a snowball fight in the backyard of their resort. The twins had always wanted to have a snowball fight, and they finally got it, especially since they were visiting this country during winter.
Edith teamed up with her husband, while Eliana and Erdin teamed up, battling each other, throwing snowballs at each other’s faces. Although Callum was initially worried that their child would attack his wife’s stomach, the fact that their twins didn’t attack her stomach area, which made him somewhat relieved.
"Callum, why do you have to be my shield when I’m the one who attacks them?"
"Because I don’t want you to keep getting hit by them. Especially if they throw a snowball at you, our baby will cry." Callum took his wife’s hand for a moment and then led her to crouch down and hide behind the snow fort they had built. "I enjoyed playing with you today."
"Me too. Especially since you made me jealous earlier by spoiling Eliana."
"In return, I will give you a special Christmas present." His right eye blinked.
"What gift do you want to give me? Do you want to give me a deer?"
Callum burst out laughing, kissing his wife briefly on the lips before continuing to act as a shield. "You’re going to love it."
"Don’t make me curious, Callum! I’m actually curious about the Christmas present you wanted to give me."
"Dad! Mom! Where are you guys?" Erdin and Eliana shouted, throwing snowballs at their parents’ fort over and over again. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Finally, Callum stood his ground and charged at the children. "We’re strategizing now. You can’t beat us."
Callum ran after the children enthusiastically, throwing snowballs, while Edith remained silent, caressing her growing belly.
"My baby, your daddy is really adorable."
