Becoming Secret Nanny for Possessive CEO-Chapter 162: Mission Accomplished
Hearing Callum’s true story, Edith was stunned as she stared at Yvette, who was becoming increasingly frantic at being betrayed by someone she trusted most. Yvette picked up a flower vase and threw it to the floor. Callum quickly stood in front of his fiancée to act as a shield. He spread his arms wide to prevent the glass shards from hitting her. When Yvette was about to throw another flower vase, Callum immediately stopped her and put the vase back on the table.
"Are you crazy?!" Callum screamed.
"Yes, I’m really going crazy right now because no one’s defending me. All this time, the only ones who’ve defended me have been my family."
"You better give up before it’s too late."
Yvette laughed maniacally, glaring at her enemy. "No wonder my mother doesn’t approve of your marriage. You’re the type of man who likes to betray."
"You’re wrong, Yvette! Our marriage wasn’t approved so I couldn’t live happily," Edith argued firmly.
"Anyway, I won’t forgive you, Edith. I’ve always lost to you."
"I’ve already given in to you, even building my own boutique, and now you’re still blaming me." Edith laughed awkwardly, her hands on her hips. "If I’d known it would be like this, I should have taken your position in the company from the start. You’re truly ungrateful!"
Suddenly, the hotel room door burst open. James and several police officers surrounded the room and then approached Yvette, who looked disheveled. Not only was James surrounded by police officers, but Arabella also entered the room with an air of arrogance, drawing Yvette’s gaze.
"Arabella, why are you here? Are you on their side now?!"
Arabella smiled sarcastically, walking arrogantly around the messy room. "Since when did I take your side? Weren’t we enemies from the start?" She snapped her fingers briefly. "Could it be that because of our conversation yesterday, you trust me so easily?"
"You are so outrageous, Arabella! I should never have trusted you!"
"This is what you did to steal Cliff from me. Now you deserve my revenge too." Arabella looked at the engaged couple and nodded. "Now I’m on Edith and Callum’s side because thanks to them, I’ve realized my mistake."
Edith folded her arms, walked slowly toward her stepsister, and then lifted her chin. "What you said earlier, the police will investigate further. Whether you were drunk or not, it seems the police have all the evidence against you and your families."
Arabella snapped her fingers casually. "That’s right. With so many police officers storming this hotel, it seems my company’s reporters are eager to cover you. Prepare yourself now."
Now Yvette couldn’t do anything. The chief detective handcuffed her hands as she read out the charges and then dragged her out of the hotel room.
Yvette was deeply embarrassed by the reporters swarming the hotel lobby. Many of the reporters questioned her about why she had killed her half-sister. Yvette couldn’t answer and kept her head down as she followed the police out of the hotel to the police car parked in the lobby.
In the room, only two couples remained, and they could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Callum immediately embraced his fiancée’s slender body while looking at the other couple who were also willing to help.
"Thank you for helping us, James and Arabella."
James smiled brightly, putting his arm around his lover’s shoulder affectionately. "Thank goodness, all your troubles are over now. You don’t have to be afraid anymore, wherever you go."
"Yvette deserved it after all the times she tried to kill you," Arabella continued.
Edith laughed softly, resting her head on her fiancé’s broad shoulder. "I still can’t believe we’re all involved in this secret mission."
"Moreover, James was so cool when he was the bartender earlier." Callum gave a thumbs up.
James looked down shyly at his girlfriend, who looked adorable in her casual dress. "Actually, I wanted to show Arabella my disguise. She’s never seen me do anything like this before."
"Actually, being a secret agent isn’t so bad. In fact, it makes me like you even more," Arabella said, staring intently at her lover.
"Anyway, now that it’s all over, I want to celebrate with my fiancée." Callum held his fiancée’s hand tightly.
James also didn’t want to be outdone by this engaged couple. He took his girlfriend’s hand. "I don’t want to linger here either. Because Arabella and I are done with our work."
"Edith and I are going home now. I’ll ask the hotel manager to charge Yvette for damaging the property in this room."
Edith laughed softly, patting her fiancé’s arm. "At a time like this, you can still collect damages from Yvette."
"Of course, because she broke a very expensive vase. I bought all the props in this room from abroad."

Today had been a very tiring day for Callum and Edith. Although exhausted, Callum still wanted to enjoy the beautiful sight of his fiancée, who looked beautiful in a white dress. Even upon arriving at their residence, Patrick and Renata stared at Edith’s beauty until their eyes sparkled.
"Edith is so beautiful today!" Renata praised, giving two thumbs up.
"Callum, why are you home so early? You should have taken your fiancée to a hotel," Patrick suggested, chuckling.
"Yes, your suggestion was correct. My fiancée is so beautiful now, it would be a shame to only wear this dress for a short time."
Edith blushed, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I don’t really want our twins to question our existence."
"By the way, how are the kids today? Are they giving you guys any trouble?" Callum asked, looking at his two assistants.
"Of course, they’re as nice as ever. Although, earlier, Eliana and Erdin had a fight while playing a game."
Callum slapped his forehead. "Erdin really can’t give in to his own sister."
"But, it’s okay, after that, they got back together."
"Okay, thank you for the report. Now that your assignment is complete, I still have something to do with my fiancé."
