Becoming Secret Nanny for Possessive CEO-Chapter 104: Love At First Sight
Before the accident, Callum and his family were having a difficult time because he planned to announce the birth of his twins to everyone. Furthermore, Callum had overheard several conversations between his stepfamily and Cliff, who wanted to claim the twins as their biological children. Callum was understandably furious to hear this, as he had worked tirelessly to care for his beloved girlfriend from pregnancy to delivery.
For now, Callum has decided not to tell Edith about this major issue. Edith just gave birth to twins a month ago, and he’s worried that the stress will worsen her health. So, he decided to have a DNA test done discreetly, just in case.
Edith is still busy looking after her twins at home all day. She still doesn’t know how serious the problems Callum and his stepfamily are facing are. All she knows is that their relationship is currently disapproved of. However, she still smiles brightly whenever she sees her beloved.
"Edith, let me look after the babies. You should get some rest."
Edith shook her head slowly, wrapping her arms around her lover’s broad back. "I’ve put Erdin and Eliana to bed. Now I want to play with you."
Callum stroked his lover’s head slowly, his face troubled. "I just met my stepfamily."
"Are you being bullied by them? Why do you look sad?"
"What you said earlier is true. They were actually talking about our relationship not being approved. They’re still forcing you to marry Cliff."
"I’ve hated Cliff ever since that day. Especially since he still hasn’t apologized to me."
"That’s why I don’t want to give you to that bastard. Moreover, you gave birth to my twins, so he has no right to touch you."
A heavy sigh escaped her lips. "But you could say I got pregnant out of wedlock because of that one night stand."
"Don’t talk nonsense, Edith! It wasn’t your fault that you got pregnant. We did it because we loved each other."
"Callum..."
Callum took a moment to pick up a few strands of Edith’s long hair and then quietly tucked them into his suit pocket. "Even though everyone doesn’t approve of our relationship, I don’t want our family to be destroyed. I’ll marry you and take you and our twins to live in a city where no one can find us."
Edith couldn’t hold back the tears of joy that continued to flow down her cheeks. Missing Callum all day, she had trouble letting go of the embrace that had brought her so much comfort. "I only have you now."
"I’m sorry, I haven’t been able to propose to you in a normal way. But I already consider you my fiancée."
After completing his secret mission to retrieve strands of his fiancée’s hair and the hair of his twins, Callum immediately took them for a secret DNA test. Callum had difficulty finding a reliable hospital due to Cliff’s extensive connections. He was worried that Cliff would manipulate the DNA test results.
A week later, the DNA test results for the four of them came back. Callum was relieved to see that the results confirmed that he and his twins were 100% related. So, from then on, he kept the DNA test results in his secret safe to prevent anyone from accessing them.

After hearing a brief story, Edith slowly finished her watermelon while waiting for her fiancé to pick up the original DNA test results. Callum retrieved the DNA results from a secret safe in his office and placed the brown envelope on the living room table.
"I’ve been keeping the documents a secret safe. I’ve also been deliberately hiding them from you, waiting for the right moment to tell you everything."
Edith opened the brown envelope and took out several sheets of paper, revealing DNA test results that confirmed Erdin and Eliana were 100% related to her and Callum. Tears of joy streamed down her cheeks, her eyes fixed on her fiancé, who was feeding her a slice of watermelon.
"No wonder you seemed so relaxed when I wanted to do a DNA test. It turns out you’d already done it."
"I already know Cliff suddenly asked you to do a DNA test because he is getting impatient to take everything that is valuable to me."
"When I did the DNA test, he deliberately manipulated the results so he could beat you."
"Cliff has many friends whose parents own hospitals. It certainly made it easier for him to manipulate DNA test results."
"I didn’t think Cliff would hold a grudge against you enough to go this far."
"If you marry Cliff, I will definitely go crazy because I will have no one else."
Edith smiled faintly, placing her hand on her fiancé’s chest. "I know the pain you’ve been going through, even to the point where you’ve been taking tranquilizers to control your anger."
"Sorry, I didn’t really mean to hide it from you."
"It’s okay. I’ll actually be your healer. Now you have solid evidence that Cliff can’t marry me again. I don’t want you to be lonely anymore or forced to marry a woman who’s only using you."
"I guess I’m becoming less and less regretful of pursuing you since before I became your VIP client."
Edith furrowed her brows. "Actually, I’m still curious about you. Even though you’ve liked me since you became my client, I’m sure you have an ulterior motive for suddenly approaching me."
Callum lifted his head right in front of his beloved fiancée’s face. "Do you want me to tell you?"
"Of course. I’m really curious. Was it really you who was just using me?"
"So, you don’t trust me?"
"I actually really trust you. But on the other hand, I’m curious about what made you suddenly interested in me. Even after the past five years, you still haven’t given up on me. If I were you, I’d probably give up already."
"Actually, it’s because I don’t want you to live in misery anymore. I’ve known about your background since you started dating Cliff."
